My last visit here was a great experience, we came to buy a pair for my son, he was fitted and had to make a choice in color, but absolutely loves his new dress shoes.
He said they are the most comfortable shoes he owns.

Do your shopping in-store! I really wish I had known this earlier; the experience is leaps and bounds ahead of their online retail.

With an odd foot shape, uncommon size, flat feet, severely over-pronated ankles, and general indecisiveness, I've had to come in for a fitting and several exchanges. This has taken hours of this gentleman's time, and I've been met with nothing but professionalism and kindness. I would've given up on the arduous search for well-fitting and attractive shoes months ago had it not been for him. My closet is now stocked with at least 6 pairs that I'm ecstatic with.

I came in today and received unmatched customer service. Two gentlemen helped me try on different sizes and widths until we finally found the right fit. I cannot emphasize enough how much their expertise helped me end up with the right shoe.

Marco was incredibly helpful. He really took the time to show me all my different options and worked with all my specifications. He provided a very pleasurable experience. The quality brought me in the door, but Marco will keep me coming back!

These guys know customer service! By now I’ve figured out that if I’m in Austin and looking for a pair of shoes, it’s just better to save the time and energy and head to this branch. In the event that they don’t have the size I need, then they order my size from the store and the next morning I’ll see an email letting me know my order has shipped.

Helpful staff, got me fitted to the right sized boot. And then ordered the correct size I needed to be shipped to my house in San Antonio. Quick shipping of just a couple of days. When the boots arrived I noticed they had gone on sale; I was able to call the store and they adjusted the price right over the phone and credited back the difference. Very helpful and very courteous. I will be coming back for more.

Very helpful experience with Mark and Michael, both of these guys were awesome! They're top notch professionals who went above the call in helping me. These guys helped me track down the last pair of shoes available in my size all the way from Jersey when I came in to do an online order exchange! I'll definitely be back to this store bc of their phenomenal customer service.

I don’t always go in-store for my AE purchases, but when I do, I go to the Congress location in Austin. Kabren is so talented and knowledgeable on AE products. It’s like he is an encyclopedia that can quickly recommend the perfect last for your foot-shape and style. He is always willing to go the extra mile to create a great shopping experience!

Mark is a tremendous associate to work with. Recently purchased my first few pairs of AE shoes and the service delivered was exactly what you would hope for and then some.

Even had an issue w a pair that was resolved immediately.

I have to keep my husband away from this store because their shoes are so comfy. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but when they last for years and years, it's worth it. If you're looking for some Oxford Wing Tips that are the actual triple layer of leather - this is the place. Very high quality, and the employees are amazing.

If you know shoes, then you already know that Allen Edmonds is the way to go. Pricey, but the extremely high quality is worth it.

As to this store in particular, I have been in several times and the service is always top notch. The staff are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Great place to buy quality shoes. The employees that work here are very nice and really want to help you. They will measure your foot to make sure you are getting the correct size. Was in a bind when it rained, had my leathers on that day and I literally went to every different shoe store looking for swims (rubber booties to go over the shoe). No one had them. 1st off those other places didnt even know what I was talking about (really and you sell high end shoes?) 2nd they would off me a water repellent spray (really for leathers shoe!). When I walked in here I was greated and asked if I needed anything. I asked the question if they had swims and the gentleman answer yes we do, what color would you like. Wow, finally a place that knows what they are selling and knows what you are talking about. If you want great leather shoes go here and be taken care of, but if you want shoes that will not last, shop somewhere else.

Lisa was very helpful getting me fitted and into the perfect shoe for my wedding. Highly recommend this store to anyone. These shoes are worth the money.

Very classy store. We went here, referred by Brooks Brothers, looking for an exact style of Wingtip Oxfords. After a day of searching Austin, they did not disappoint. They had the exact style I was looking for (see photo), in a a merlot cordovan leather.

Anthony Carinhas was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very friendly. He was able to answer every question we had without fail.

They had a policy stating that you had to wear shoes to come in, but Samwise Gamgee and I had problems with that so we hired a wizard to help out. Everything is good now, except for the fact that I still haven't received my box of weed from Costco.
