Lone Star Charlie's Family Restaurant

The Veggie omelet was perfect. The service was superb. It was assumed to be good because there was no empty table in the restaurant when I arrived. The servers, host, and cooks definitely worked together to turn the tables quickly without affecting the quality of food and customer service. I was in and out with a full stomach after a great breakfast.

I love this place. The prices are fantastic and the food tastes great. Every time I come to Lufkin, I make sure to stop here.

Good spot to come and eat! Food is delicious! Staff are super nice and friendly. Good selection on breakfast! My husband didn't realize they had breakfast specials lol

I go out of my way to come here. Great food, coffee and service is excellent. Staff are so friendly and welcoming! When you want good food, coffee and service, this is what you're looking for. Old style country cooking.

Came to town from out of state. My friend wanted to make sure we got real Texas BBQ. Was not disappointed. Everything was so good. I never bother ordering ribs when dining out, to chewy. But here I was sorry I didn't order more. I hope I can come back someday.

This is my new favorite place to eat.
Update: 3/23/22 the biscuits and gravy with sausage gravy and hash browns cannot be beat. It's the best! Place is clean. Waitress is fantastic. I wish I could leave $100 tip. I asked the waitress to kiss the cook for me. My wifes east Texas chicken breast with bell peppers, onions and mushrooms was great! Even my sons kids meal cheeseburger with fries was great! We love and can't get enough of Lonestar Charlie's. Good prices too. This place shines like a diamond in a goats ask me what! 5 stars!!!!!

They say first impressions are everything. Well my first time here 9/15/21 and this is my new spot when I come through. From when I walked in there was a guy standing in front greeting customers his professionalism was great. When I left a different man either manager or owner came in working and made sure I was taken care of.I had the pleasure of having Stephanie she was great and was so sweet. When you've had a rough morning it's nice to come and be around nice people. I LOVE the way I was treated. Oh and the food was great 😊

First time here being new to the area. Stopped in for some breakfast and ordered the grilled pork chop and eggs, that my fantastic server recommend. Every thing was cooked perfectly and delicious. Nothing fancy and what you'd expect from a small dinner serving breakfast all day. Will be returning.

2nd time having this place. The first time we dined in and my omelet was so good. The second time I got food to go and it was still good. I got the steak fingers. It gets packed on certain days and times so just know that. My 2 year old loves this place as well and our waitress was so kind and accommodating.

I have always enjoyed eating at Lone Star Charlie's...as some of us call it just Charlie's 😁 All their food is delicious and right now because of Covid-19 our trip to the salad bar has had to stop which is very understandable. But it is served to us at our table. The staff is always so friendly, kind and down to earth. Really enjoy the cornbread muffins with my meal. You get 2 muffins and you only get one roll if you want the roll 😁😁 I had the hamburger steak pattie, fried cauliflower, and broccoli cheese casserole. Enough for to meals for me. 😋

Outstanding service and food! Ask for Kristi! She was very attentive. We ate the blueberry pancakes and French toast. My kids at the veggie omelette. Glad we came here to eat.

Good food! I make a stop here when I can. Ordered this bacon egg and cheese on Texas toast. Delish. A whole lot better than McDonalds folks. Hot coffee too! The gentleman that took my order at the host table has always been very nice. Sorry I didn’t get your name. But thanks. Even mixed my coffee. That’s service. But the SANDwich! Oooh my. 😊 Yum Yum Yummy Sorry I took bites first but the. I wouldn’t be able to comment on how good it was.
