Al Basha restaurant

I’m Jordanian and I stopped there to have Mansaf (which isn’t always available, but if available you MUST get it). It was very authentic and tasty with tons of meat and hot yogurt. It tasted the same like my grandmother used to cook it back in Salt 40 years ago. A plate for one is good for 2 actually and cost just $25!! I was expecting more like $40-50. Server was knowledgable with the menu and service was quick.

My husband and I loved our first visit here. The food was amazing! Waitress was very helpful and friendly. We love the amount of leftovers! We will be back ❤

We ordered here for our wedding reception two years ago and we still have people asking where we ordered from. They were so good and on time with delivery, and gave us so much food we had enough for all our guests and to take home leftovers. Very good quality and quantity for the money, and the food is clean and delicious.

This place was totally beyond my expectations it is a hidden gem I'm so glad I found it. I'm a Falafel lover and this place makes the best falafel in all of Chicago. I literally tried the falafel in every Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant and this is the number ONE. The rest of the food was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering. I'd like to mention that they have really good customer service and the restaurant and restrooms are clean. I will definitely come back.

We tried Al Basha for the first time a few days ago. We will definitely be back! The server recommended the combo plate. We got to try a bit of everything this way. I really liked the kefta and the shawarma. It was too much food for two people but we loved the leftovers! Our server was so nice, all of the patrons seemed to love her and everyone seemed like a regular. Good food is one thing but friendly, personable service is what brings people back!

I had lunch at Al Basha restaurant on February12th after my sister had recommended the restaurant to me. I was so impressed with the food. Everything was delicious. There wasn't a single dish that was not delicious. I recommend the $60 platter. I can't wait to go back.

Husband got the lamb neck plate and combo plate. The portion is generous and the meat was very juicy and fell off the bone. The grape leaves was authentic like the way we make it at home, reminds me of my moms cooking. Soooo good. Fresh tasting and you can tell they make everything by hand. We always order for catering from here but decided to try a regular dinner and I’m so glad we did.

We just went to Al Basha, which means the king in Arabic, after searching it on Google Maps. Wow the food is so incredible. We just had to get takeout because we were going somewhere but we will definitely go back! I had just a plate of falafel and my husband got the beef Shawarma sandwich. The portions were even bigger than they told us and everything was incredibly freshly homemade. Wow!

I LOVE this place a lot. Their Ramadan buffet is amazing and I have never been to more tasty buffet like this. And the Hospitality is 100\100!!!

I went there for the first time. I didn't know some of the food in the menu, and the guy helped us patiently. He was very attentive to check on us. The food itself was amazing and fresh. I love stuffed grape leaves, but find it as an appetizer in most of the other mediterranean places. But here they have it as a meal and it was delicious. I'm definitely going back next time.

My husband and I went here for lunch based on online reviews and it was amazing. I wish we had known about this place sooner.

The food was plentiful and fresh. The service was some of the best service we have ever had at a restaurant period. The waitress answered all of our questions and brought us several items to try. You can tell this restaurant takes pride in their food.

I cannot wait to bring our friends and family here. Thank you for a wonderful meal (three actually).

The food was amazing and there was tons of it! It was just hard to spot the restaurant because the big sign was gone, and then they were watching news from Gaza in Arabic on a huge TV. Nothing wrong with that, it was just distracting to me.

The best Mansef in town hands down. Always good to call during the week to see what’s the special, everything cooked here is authentic and always cooked to perfection. Family owned and operated this place is a definite place to go.

I love Greek food but this is even better. My new favorite place.

My boss has a talent for picking places to eat. This place shined through and through. Very friendly staff. Very zen atmosphere and an apparent sense of culture and pride within the restaurant. And as for the food, it was godly. Every piece of food from the dips to sides to the entrees were masterfully done. Usually when I eat at OTHER Middle Eastern places, each restaurant tastes slightly different, but the food overall has the same flavor across the board for all dishes always good but typically boring. However, THIS restaurant has good unique delicious flavor for EVERY dish. The flavor profile is fresh, well seasoned, and well thought out. I was very impressed with the flavor from beginning to end of the dinner. My leftovers were just as delicious the next day. This is truly a GEM. This is on my list of places that you must visit for Middle Eastern food. You can tell the chef takes pride in the food by how each dish was prepared.

Iv loved in Iraq. And have eaten all over the world. This is.good food. Chicken could use a mindless on the grill.. worth it. Great meal.

Needs a new sign but that’s what makes this place is a hidden gem tucked in the corner of the plaza but the atmosphere and the food were amazing

Really delicious food. Service was really friendly and attentive. I had the Combo Plate and even though I eat a lot, I had to take home some leftovers. Definitely coming back.
