Taco Margarita

One of our favourite experiences so far. Joseph was our fantastic server and Betty the owner came by also to ask how everything was. And folks, everything was AMAZING! Omg the house margaritas ❤ Great food, great team, do yourself a favour and try the enchiladas with mole sauce 😀

Don’t sleep on this authentic Mexican taqueria. The hot sauces are spicy and flavorful (100% A+ amazing!). The Al pastor is so juicy and well seasoned with a nice crispy sear made in the proper way with a vertical rotisserie. The owner is so kind and sociable. The location itself is immaculate and cheerful decorated.

I’m am always in search for delish Authentic Mexican fast food dishes and tacos! I finally food one close to home!

Tortillas were soft, several salsas to pick from, barbacoa tacos and pastor served with bits of pineapple just like in Mexico, and Margaritas with takin salt on the rim! So good I’m making it my new Friday night dinner place! So good we have been back twice in one week!

Drive on over, tell the owner I sent you. You’re going to wish you had more space to eat some more! I’m Mexican , and I approve their tacos! I know you will to!

Great and fast service. The tacos are juicy and just the right flavor. Pretty authentic taste. Recommended the Gringa quesadilla and the chicken tortilla soup.

For libation one must try the Mezcalita with pineapple. Also recommend the mojito with just the right amount of flavor to tingle your senses.

Will definitely return and recommend! Average pricing for food and drinks but large food quantities as well.

I can not tell you how lovely are the staff here. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate our picky eaters, and we never feel rushed. The Mahi Mahi tacos are SO TASTY!! Ask for a fresh churro, they are delicious! Really a great spot to have lunch or dinner. Nice and bright inside, and there's a sweet playscape outside that even my older kids love. Then treat yourself and go next door to Rose Haven for the best bakery goods on the planet :)

Amazing food, music and the service is excellent!! The owner is there to see that everything runs to the point!!
My favorites were queso fundido with chips, tacos Al pastor and the monster burrito with beef, chicken and shrimp, just amazing !!!!
The salsas are spot on!! Specially the habanero one!!!!

They have tacos and margaritas. I hate reviewing a restaurant during its first week, as it’s not fair to the establishment. There are kinks to work out, and things are a little hectic. That being said, the al pastor tacos were delicious. It’s my jam, and they went hard in the paint. The house margarita was also to my liking. I will be back.

Opening day... I had the mahi mahi taco and shrimp taco. OMG amazing!! I'm really picky when it comes to fish tacos, hands down one of the best I've had. Also had a skinny margarita, not sweet and delicious!! I will definitely be coming again!

The owners here are amazing! Christian is so determined to make sure every guest is taken care of. Plus it’s so refreshing to have authentic Mexican tacos & drinks so close to home. The Al pastor and Mahi tacos are So delicious. Our kids love the playground and the food. We plan to be there every week!

House frozen Margarita was fantastic. Really need to up their queso game. Plain, but they offer salsas to mix in. Tacos were good, look forward to returning and tasting more of their offerings. Great service, and vibe.
Now offering Mole enchiladas. Family recipe. Give it a try, I did and they did not disappoint. Bang Bang shrimp tacos!

Had breakfast tacos, and they were Yummy! The place is very clean and the service is fast! Chorizo, potatoes & eggs with cheese. So delicious 😋

Christian's restaurant absolutely nails it. Classics you love, but with hand crafted specialties with real Mexican roots. I had a HUGE chorizo breakfast burrito. Tasty chorizo, imported direct from Mexico, and hand made salsa. Nothing from cans here, all made from scratch. I'm excited to try their margaritas. Hands down best Mexican in the area.

We have lived in this part of Austin for almost 2 years and always wanted to try their food. We're now kicking ourselves for waiting this long! The food is some of the best we've had in Austin, heck, in Texas! So do yourself a HUGE favor and try them as soon as you can, you'll thank me for it!

Nice non-chain, whole-in-the wall restaurant. Had the shrimp tacos and house marg. Planning on going back for their Wednesday margarita special.

I love their flavorful tacos and sauces, Must try bang bang shrimp tacos. Always my go-to restaurant to get tacos.

We've gone a couple times since they've opened and everything has been delicious! Really loved the chorizo burrito for breakfast and the asada tacos for dinner. The queso and drinks were great as well. Wife is from Mexico and absolutely loves it, so nice to have an authentic Mexican taqueria in town.

Love coming here the staff remembers who you are, the food is good and fresh and the house margarita and tortilla soup are amazing!

We love this local spot! Betty makes great drinks and the food always hits the spot. We ended up choosing Taco Margarita to cater our rehearsal dinner because we love it so much!
