Happy State Bank

I have been banking with happy state for 14 years and by far this is the best branch. They have excellent customer service, the staff always goes above and beyond to help me with my banking needs. If you want things done efficiently and timely I highly recommend you come here.

This branch is awesome! I do business at this location almost daily and the girls are always super friendly and helpful. Great customer service. Best branch I’ve dealt with. I love doing business at this branch.

Went to this location for assisted with my new debit card and also enrolled me into a savings program, Leslie made this transition very smooth and quick! Very nice and welcoming. Definitely will be my new favorite location. 😊

whoever is in charge of this Branch here on I-40 East needs to be more responsible about when they use their sprinkler system their whole lot the sidewalk and part of the street on both sides of I-40 and on the other side on 16th Street sidewalk and even parts of the street are frozen you are making it hazardous for pedestrians and for drivers not to mention your own employees and customers because your sprinklers are on when it is freezing outside and it is making it very hazardous and slippery.

You need to pack a lunch when you go to this branch because you are going to be there a while. The service couldn't get any slower.

Obviously the bank's responder didn't read my post very well. The service is seriously slow. It has nothing to do with feeling good. Tell the employees to pick up the pace and don't spin my comment into somethin it isn't.

Last week I had to call Centennial Bank headquarters to get them to call Happy State Bank and tell them to answer the phone. No matter what HSB number I called not one single branch in the Amarillo area was answering the phone. All you would get was the automated after hours recording yet is was 10:30 AM.

All you get from Centennial/happy bank is bot responses. Obviously no one actually reads the reviews.

I normally use the bank out of Pampa, but work in Claude. I've been needing to make a deposit for over a week because I can't get to the Pampa location after work before the drive thru tellers close. My landlord requires us to drop the rent check off at the bank. I don't even use this bank myself. Well I went to Amarillo today because it's a 30 min drive vs an hour, so I could deposit my rent check. They're supposed to be open until 6pm. I pulled up and the lady ran outside and pulled out the container for the deposit as I was sitting there. I pushed the button and she replied when she got back in that they close at 6. Yeah, I know, and why I'm here before 6pm. I needed a receipt because it's for rent. But I gave up and used the drop. I gave notice already at my house and am so glad I don't need to deal with this anymore. Horrible service at THIS location. The ladies at the Pampa bank are all really nice.

And I love how no one ever replies to any of these reviews. It's always an automatic, generic reply addressing none of your concerns. I would not bank here. They have had a lot of issues since their buyout.

can't call the branches any more since this horrible Centennial took over. Customer service is gone. I'm moving to ANB where I should have been all along.

Horrible. The phone lines are always busy and not just at this branch but also the other branches in Amarillo.
