Jumano Park

This place is tucked away in the middle of a neighborhood but when you are walking the trails or creek bed, you feel like there is no one around! Such a beautiful place to explore!

Probably one of the most scenic parks in the state of Texas. The mountains are stunning. We took the tram car and we had no idea that the gift shop was closed for the first time in a year.

We decided to camp out for a few months and then got a new house close to the beach.
If you are unwilling to have a great time then we highly recommend you stay home and enjoy your vacation on your own couch.

It's so wonderful to have such a pleasant hiking place tucked away in this area. I absolutely love it here. It's perfect for pups!

Always the best haunted house in my neighborhood I'm an adult and I go every year and I love it. They have it on October 30th and 31st. That way the kids can come to the haunted house and trick or treat. They change the theme here and there. It goes through their house a little bit and on the side of the backyard and sometimes it goes through the garage as well. The actors are they will jump scare you, but if you don't touch the actors they would touch or torture you back. The line is always long, but goes by fast. The haunted house only lasts a few minutes to get through it. They have candy at the end. It's not wheelchair accessible. But all more it's spook-tastic!!

Great little course. Quick play. 9 holes

Quiet and private, this park is host to a very challenging 9 hole disc golf course. Generally kept in good condition, the course has concrete tees, tee signs, and directional signs throughout the course. Overall the course is short, and highly technical with tight woods on most holes.

Short course. Shot terribly. Learned a great deal about hand grenade shots to get over trees and brush. Still had fun and the course is well kept, almost to a fault with extreme use of wood chips.

Very impressed with this new 9 hole course. Well designed to make it challenging for experienced players chasing birdies but also beginner/family friendly.

This is normally only open during 'Big Trash Day' in the Block House subdivision. You can walk into it via the forest, but not sure there are too many walking trails through out. In general most public place as Block House are kept very clean and nice looking. Good luck!

Great Place to have Cub Scout meetings. Has an unmarked trail to the creek, and a wonderful community garden. No restroom, unless you have a key to the gates and buildings.

I'm glad this green space is there. It is utterly undeveloped, but there is a un-maintained trail that runs along the creek that is cool and pleasant even during the hottest summer days.
