Lustre Pearl South

We were here this week for a corporate event. Every member of the staff was genuine and nice. The bar staff was super quick, friendly and efficient....and the karaoke grand master. That dude is by far the best in Austin if you love funny, honesty, whitty and dry humor. If your looking for some lame cheese ball host well ... good luck to you but if you're looking a fun and laughs Luster Pearl South is the bee's knee's, the cats meow and the snakes elbow to say the least.

Lustre Pearl South was an amazing and accommodating location for my 50th birthday party! They have a beautiful separate event space with its own bar, restrooms, dance floor complete with disco ball, and sound system. Not only is the space private and well laid out, it is also elegant and well decorated. The space easily held our 80 party guests and provided plenty of seating, as well as room for dancing and socializing. It even opens onto a patio/deck, where there is outdoor seating. And what can I say about the staff? The manager was incredibly gracious and helpful from day one. The staff provided a thorough tour of the space, very reasonable pricing to rent it out compared to similar venues nearby, and bar staff for the night of the party. They went out of their ways to make sure the space was spotlessly clean, the sound system was working perfectly, and that we had everything we needed. They simply couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough for hosting parties and social events. We will definitely be back! What a great experience.

Food is ok from the food trailers out back. Bartenders are awesome and very friendly. Great atmosphere. Greatplace to watch the games.

As a long time austinite I remember the original Lustre Pearl days fondly. Young adult bars were new and novel back in 2011. This new outpost is a welcome addition to the area. Cleanest bathrooms in the ‘48. Also has good, paved parking. Beer choices are as expected but there are cider and hard seltzer options. Lots of seating indoors and out

Lots of outdoor seating, dog-friendly, great beers. Food trucks keep changing and so that's a hit it miss. The giant disco ball inside one of the two bars is seizure inducing but easily avoided

No food truck available on the day we went and was the reason we showed up, had to only get a set of drinks before headed out. Anytime I'm in Austin it's a sure stop in, but will rethink for next time if I'm hungry.

This is one of my favorite bars so far for the southside! This is better than Armadillo Den and Moontower any day. Taylor is amazing, so is Jade, and the manager Rich is one of my favorites!! Bridget and Chris Parker really outdid theirs selves with this place!! Love you all!! Thank you for all you do and for bringing something classy but still Texas styled to our area!! Love the location, but do wish there was more parking. It is nice that you can get parking validated though. Bartenders are friendly made good strength drinks.

Good yard with some games and street art. Great burger from the food truck there.

A favorite amongst watering holes along Manchaca. Very dependent on weather of course and last night was perfect. Great drinks great staff. Never ate from the trailers onsite but it looks tasty!

Lots of outdoor seating and a fair amount of indoor space as well. Fans and misters make the summer heat more manageable. Standard Austin bar scene in that way. Most of the parking is in the rear. Food trucks rotate through.

Cool place! Nice and spacious outdoors. Great drink selection. Delicious food trucks. And an outdoor music venue!

Love this local south Austin bar, where locals go and tourists avoid.
It's a huge bar with multiple separate bars and more seating then you could even imagine, spread across like 2 acres of land.
Multi level and separated seating in many chill duo or party set ups.
Yard games and ping pong sprawled across the grass, pool, shuffled board inside.
A ton of parking in the back, don't let the front parking let you down on a busy night, check the back. Next to some really cool bars! Parlay is dope modern spot not to mention moon tower on the other side. Park and walk!
The food trucks are really good! There are 4 trucks in total, sometimes one is closed for whatever reason. Expect to spend around $12-18 for food entree's, some trucks have lesser priced "sides" or apps.
Decent normal priced drinks with great service and vibes. I've seen live music often or a dj inside at times. Helps create a good vibe in doors. I've seen a stage type trailer outside in the back but I've never seen a a band yet outside playing. They do have outside heaters, I've seen them out sometimes but sometimes when it's cold I see them sitting stored to the side.
I shall end it with very clean and good smelling restrooms which is a bonus at a bar!

Such a cool local spot to go hang out over some drinks. The indoor/outdoor options has a place for everyone whether you want to be in the mix of things indoors or a little quieter outside. I've been once for trivia night and that was big fun. I won so my opinion might be skewed. Bartenders have always been friendly and the food trucks give great options to grab lunch or dinner while enjoying some drinks. South Austin is lucky to have LPS.

My first time there, won't be the last. I visit the area infrequently but I'll make this a permanent stop. Excellent atmosphere, large space with room to get away or enjoy the company of others. After a couple of rum and cokes the bartender recommended their house Cuba Libra. Absolutely excellent recommendation, added a special cola syrup that brought it to a new level I didn't expect. Good food options as well, wish two of the food options had been open when I was there, would have loved to try the bbq.

Really had a great time and looking forward to the next visit.

Super venue. Great atmosphere and great food trucks

My favorite spot in this area is Austin! There's plenty of space outside and inside, the bathrooms stay very clean, and it's a great vibe between the two bars, great food trucks, and the Praxis coffee airstream. You really never have to leave. It's a wonderful spot to take a kid and any dogs to with a ton of shade out back between the large trees, sun shades, and the large covered patio. The staff is great and they provide plenty of water for people and pets.

Awesome South Austin hangout with lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Kid and pet friendly. Big screen for the game. Two Full bars with fast service. Food trucks, shuffle board, darts and pool table!
