Good place to take friends and just relax.

We stopped in for the first time for a mid-week lunch after reading that they placed high in the Iowa pork tenderloin contest a few years ago with their grilled tenderloin. I was not disappointed: it was a large piece of meat that was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The price was a reasonable $6.50 (sides like fries are extra). They have a monthly calender of their daily specials (which includes things like casseroles), and the specials are also on their daily Facebook page.

The server Robbie was very friendly, outgoing, and efficient.

In terms of atmosphere, it's an older business (over 30 years) with one large open room, a bar along the back wall, a single pool table, and both high and low tables. It's clean, well lit, and the seats are comfortable. There is a very large parking lot (there was even a semi pulling a grain trailer there). There is also a picnic table outside. It was easy to find seating during the lunch hour. They had a good crowd of farmers/working men present for lunch. It was a friendly atmosphere.

We were very happy with our food and our experience at Staby's, and will definitely return. I've already recommended it to friends and family.

Delicious Dinners and a variety of reasonably priced choices on the menu. Genuinely friendly, welcoming and courteous staff.

I've always enjoyed this Establishment since my first visit in 1986 and is always a pleasure to patronize this small business that still carries the name of the original owners, Mr. & Mrs. Russ and Midge Slaby.

A nice 20-30 minute drive from Davenport, Iowa.

Casual, Clean, Happy Bar with Great Staff and Great Food! Good for Lunch, Dinner, Drinks and scoobie snacks👍🏼. Daily Lunch Specials(call for times.. Hot Beef ALWAYS a Sell_Out Item.. Hot beef sandwich piled high with mashed potatoes n gravy☺ Greap Prices on Call Drinks, Nightly Food Specials. Going for a ride? Stop in n fill up on your way. SuperFriendly! Worth the drive!

We were at the Truckers Jamboree
it started to rain. So we loaded up and went to Slabs.
So did everyone else.
Supper buzz but they took care of everyone!

Well all I'm going to say is that the Slaby Team sticks together through thick or thin! A strong family with great roots! Always there to make you smile, laugh and to create great memories with! If you are down they will pick you up! If you're sad they will make you smile!

This is a great hang out if your on motorcycles and want to go for a ride out of the Quad Cities!!! Great food with a great wait staff and bartenders! Friendly atmosphere and a wonderful place to hang out at!
