Quality Inn Pierre-Fort Pierre

I can't speak of the room quality or location, as I didn't stay there. However, I had attempted to book a room for my mother and the site through which I attempted to book defaulted to this location. I failed to double check before making the reservation, and so was fully prepared to eat the cost but I thought it would be worth contacting the location to see if they could transfer the reservation. After a brief discussion, I was told they would call back after making a determination, but I never heard back.

I booked the room needed, again prepared to eat the loss of this, but to my surprise the charge was reversed.

That's an instant 5 star experience for me. 10/10, would screw up again lol.

I stood at the hotel a couple of times now and I always had a nice stay here! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient too, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Pierre! Also, huge shout out to Mit who always was there in a couple of seconds to help me out!

My co-workers and I had made reservations with the Governor’s Inn several months ago. We were coming to Pierre to attend the 2024 Governor’s Conference on Tourism. We had reserved three rooms and the OWNER of the hotel actually called my director the day prior to our check-in to confirm that we were still coming. She told him yes and we’d see him the next day. Upon our arrival, they had cancelled our rooms and rented them out to other people. This was ridiculous for so many reasons, but a huge storm moving in was one of them. After going a few rounds with the hotel staff and manager, we began a search for another hotel, which, if you know anything about conferences, is next to impossible. We called every hotel in the area with no luck, until we called Quality Inn.
When we called Mit at the Quality Inn, he told us that he had three rooms left, but only three. We hurried over to get the rooms. One of the rooms was only going to be available for one night, but if any came up the next day due to weather moving in, Mit was going to let us know. He took amazing care of us, let us know as soon as any changes came up and was one of the most pleasant customer service agents any of us had ever encountered. This was surprising to us, because it seemed like he was on duty almost 24hrs a day. When we asked him, he explained to us that he had a co worker who was ill, so he was covering their shift. Anything we needed; Mit made sure it was to us faster then we would have ever expected. Mit was professional, courteous and went above and beyond. He and this hotel are highly recommended. The hotel is currently under construction, but well maintained for going through these changes.

The room was nice and clean, refrigerator, microwave, everything worked as it should. The ac ran great on a 102 degree day! Good breakfast, shampoo/conditioner/body wash pumps were nice instead of the tiny bottles they have at most places. Friendly staff at check in and when leaving!

My cousin and I stayed here. She happened to drop her earring in the sink, went down the drain!! Called the front desk and they were here to remove it within a half hour. Hot breakfast and plenty of hot water. Staff is very friendly.

The sheets were the softest I've ever felt, wonder what type it was, feels really really good. The bed was super comfy. Close to everything. It was an emergency stop, and was very very Quality. I really want their sheets.

The Hotel is currently being remodeled to make the place more modern. So the hallways are in the middle of being re-carpeted and rooms are being updated as well. This did look as it should, being that it is being remodeled.

The staff are hard working, pulling long shifts. I am grateful for the staff, who are holding down the hotel, working long days/shifts, just so people like myself, who are traveling for work or those traveling for pleasure, can have a place to stay.

Despite the construction and remodeling going on, my stay was a pleasant one, the breakfast was good and had a large variety of foods, unlike a previous hotel I stayed at last week.

So I would just like to say, GOOD JOB Quality Inn Team for showing up, putting in the work and dealing with all you deal with everyday and still deciding to show up the next day and do it all over again!!!

I know it can be hard being a service business who going through a remodel, dealing with customers, not being able to make sure at this time that everything is perfect, but hang in there... Keep working hard, you are all appreciated!

Really nice place. NO carpeting!!! YAY!!! Retro, late sixties early seventies decor, I LIKE IT!!!
The room and bathroom were clean and neat.
Staff is really nice and friendly.
The breakfast buffet is done in small amounts so it's always fresh.

Excellent hospitality above all, beginning with Jayson at checkin to our morning breakfast chef/checkout clerk, James, the friendliest people I’ve encountered on my trip. And very dog friendly, my pup was happy to roam the halls here! Pleased to have breakfast options with real breakfast foods, room was clean and spacious with one minor flaw (Jayson corrected it, light issue). Still going through remodeling but this is a great place to stay when in Pierre! I’m looking forward to coming back!

Love this hotel. They get the room right everytime. Been coming here as a regular due to my job for months. Went to days inn one time and instantly regretted it. I came here and it's like they had already had my name on one of my favorite rooms. Jayson and Dave are really good at recognizing faces and making friends so if your gonna be a regular and if you travel and need a cozy spot with no issues on the first try, these two and this hotel has ur back, every. Single. Time.

Lowest price per night, expectations were low. First pulled in and this place looked nice. Checked in and the lady working was super polite, now I was worried about the room. Got to the room and wham it was clean, look nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. My room had closet with door, microwave, mini fridge and a safe. The breakfast was eggs, bacon, waffles or biscuit and gravy. Had apples, oranges, breads and yogurt.

Over all this was a great spot for the nice.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Convenient location at a GREAT price. The rooms were very clean and comfy. We checked in with 3 kids and they LOVED the time they spent here. 5 stars, highly recommend! we’d stay again. There was one worker (Jason) who helped make our stay less of a hassle with 3 kids.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was clean, breakfast was surprising, I mean we got bacon, eggs, toast, cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, juice, milk, biscuits and gravy. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate. We especially liked the person who checked us in, very nice, helpful and one worker who cleaned rooms.

Jayson was very helpful and friendly. He made checking in easy. When we wanted to stay longer he worked it for us.
Casey was helpful also. She was on second shift.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was good also.

Jason was super friendly and professional during my stay! My room was very clean and sunny! I like the breakfast we got waffles , coffee , cereal , eggs and meat! Definitely worth coming back!

I had an easy stay and quality sleep at this location. The room was totally on point with cleanliness and amenities. Jayson made check-in very efficient after a long day on the road. I would definitely stay here again.

Ya'll are the real MVPs. Breakfast was on point, the rooms were immaculate and the staff was amazing. Shout out to my boy Jayson at the front desk. We stayed the night at Qality Inn after needing emergency shelter one night not to long ago, Qality Inn Desk Clerk Jayson helped us out with our AAA price when I didn't when know I could use that. He was so informative and brought our spirits up when we needed it, and me and the kids rested easy with the generosity of his knowledge to get the deal we needed and in a shelter much needed for the night. If you decide to stay here I recommend it. Hopefully you get Jayson he made the experience nice for our family. Thank you Jayson 😊

This was a very nice place to stay! It was clean priced reasonably and the pool and hot breakfast was extra nice for the price we paid. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles and much more. It's close to almost everything u might need like fast food, Walmart and convenient access to several quick stops for the forgotten drinks or snacks, the State capital building and other attractions are within 5 mins of travel. Staff was very polite and we were not rushed out the door at checkout like some places. We definitely recommend this place to family's with small kids the 3-5 foot pool is just right for the 5 and up range and our grandson 9 months even loved it too!

The check-in was easy and prompt. The room was basic but clean. The continental breakfast was amazing! I'd stay there again just for the breakfast! Lol!
