I was surprised when I went in , did the number thing n was expecting to wait . But went right to the young man n he took care of what I needed

Easiest process ever! Lady was very helpful, process took about 30 minutes - piece of cake!!

Just like any other government office, very strict protocol. Went to sign up for Social security and the guy I talked to was very nice and answered any questions I had. Now waiting on phone call to Actually sign up. The System sucks as it is being ran... no fault of people who work there however.

They're pretty good at getting people through their really good

Was told there was a drop box that could be used after hours. There was indeed a drop box. Was told by night custodian that after hours access to said drop box was unavailable.

Have called at least 4 times to the Effingham office, but have been disconnected and told that I need to call again later. I need to have an in-person appointment to change my name and am unable to do so online!

They don't even deserve one star. I took my disability report to them in person and they lost it. Then when I complained they took it over the phone. Now I get a letter and a second request for the report from SSDI threatening to take my benefits if I don't comply!!!!! This office is incompetent and are under investigation. No accountability! Makes me sick.

Just got off the the phone with a rather rude woman. She seemed extremely disgusted in my call and was very short and kept interrupting me. Unreal

I went here to get a copy of a letter they sent a year earlier.. all the women kept saying was it was mailed.. I told her I couldn't find it after 30 minutes she made a copy..

Can not get them on the phone, what a joke
