This is a great place to get a good home cooked breakfast dirt cheap. Friendly staff. This place also opens up at night as a board game place. Keeps kids out of trouble. The chairs could use reupholstered, but I had a great breakfast cheap, no complaints.

Excellent place! I got the Chick-a-Boom (Omelette with Shredded Chicken, Onion, Jalapenos, and topped with Mozerella Cheese) and it was delicious! I also got a large pancake which was perfect. Fluffy and light and extremely big. Everything I expect when coming to a place like this! The service and atmosphere was so pleasant and added to the dining experience. I highly recommend! Check it out if you can!

Good food, great service, building is a little older and shows it (but nothing egregious). Corned beef and hash was 10 dollars.

Food was fantastic! Service was on point. For being so good, I'm surprised that it wasn't busier. When I visit Iowa again I'll definitely be going back!

Nothing to FANCY. As owners do. These days revenue is being creative. They have variety of Board Games for sale, along with accessories like mats. 3btimes a week, people gather for Game night. If you want a great breakfast ; the omelets 3 egg was huge & hash browns were crispy. Yum sausage gravy & chip beef gravy over biscuits. My husband loved.

I called and ordered the Harold to go, but when I went to pick up my order I wished I had sat in house. It has that small town sparkle where it's like having bfast with friends in your own kitchen. The food was excellent and I will be eating there again!

Waitresses son was polite and friendly. He makes a person feel welcome. We were too late for some of the breakfast items but it was OK.

Just stopped in here and had a delicious burger. Some patrons were having breakfast because you can order anything from their menu at anytime....pretty cool! Definitely going back soon as they had a lot of variety to choose from at very reasonable prices.

I love this little cafe. I may be a little biased, because I love all the gaming stuff on display too, but the food has never disappointed me either.

I read the reviews about this cafe, which is exactly why I wanted to experience it for myself. Was not disappointed and now strongly recommend it for anyone going to Keokuk, Nauvoo, or Carthage. First, the food was so affordable! And plentiful! We ordered breakfast foods and the pancakes were HUGE! (And way better than IHOP, in my opinion). Don't expect quick service, as there is only one server and a small kitchen. But you can expect good, home cooked food, friendly service, and a happy wallet.

4th St Cafe is one of Keokuk Iowa's prized family owned and operated gems that is always welcoming to its many patrons and are passers-by alike. The portions and tastes of 4th St remind of sitting at moms dinner table every night, not always knowing what was for dinner, but knowing you would be satisfied when you got up.

My personal favorite is The Monster! A thick juicy deep fried tenderloin decked out however you like it, whether you want a couple slices of tomato, lettuce, pickles, and dashed with ketchup and mustard, or create your own version of the Monster. Everything is cooked to order at 4th St! Come add your story to its rich hometown history...
