I had an amazing experience getting my hair cut by Matt! He helped rescue my hair from a pretty bad previous cut, and clearly took the time to listen to my normal routine and what I needed out of my hair. The salon has a lovely atmosphere, Matt is fun to chat with, and the price feels very reasonable for the time and quality of the service

Moved to the neighborhood and needed a new stylist - met Matt and I won’t be going to anyone else. I have never been more confident with my hair. Brought my Mom (she was with her previous stylist for 14 years) and now only goes to Matt. Brought my sister for a Brazilian Blowout and we loved it! Matt is such a talented stylist & his space is beautiful! I had color and style both done here and loved the result. Matt helped me cut some bangs, which we know can go very wrong, but he did a great job helping me transform my look & letting me know what would not work with my hair type. Truly top 3 haircut of my thirties. My fine and wavy/curly-ish hair has only gotten finer in my late 30s and it’s become increasingly harder to have length to my hair without it becoming a rat tail.

Kelsey cut my hair into a French-ish bob, layered it and gave me swoop bangs - all of it together gave me hair with body and bounce and volume - three things that don’t happen with hair like mine.

That woman is stuck with me as a client till she retires or I move.

A wonderful place. My wife and I both have been. Matt has been doing womans hair for many years and trained in Manhattan and when I asked he said trained but I was not familiar with all the places because that is not my thing. He has an extensive client list with some of them driving from downtown to have them do his hair. We are very happy with the experience and feel like we were lucky our friend recommended W + Co!

I have been a customer of W & Co Salon since the day it opened a few years ago and have had a consistently great experience ever since! I'm in there monthly, and every cut and color has been just excellent. It's also a very pandemic-safe salon. Since there are only 2 stylists, and not even a receptionist, there is a hard limit on the number of people in the space at one time. COVID rules are strictly enforced. You can easily book appointments online and they will email and/or text you to confirm. Parking is good in this neighborhood as well.

Great environment and cool vibes! Kelsey understood my thick tresses and didn't hesitate to dive in. She described it as "two haircuts in one," and took the patience to shampoo wash, cut, dry and style, cut and snip some more, to complete the look. I went from long thick (like a lion's mane) to short light bob without regrets. 😀

Matt was excellent in every respect. He was professional, personal, and gave me the perfect new style. I’d highly recommend booking! The salon is stylish, clean, and comfortable. Booking an appointment online was easy and text updates with appointment information and reminders is a huge plus.

We moved to Evanston four years ago and I spent more than a year trying to find the right place to get my hair cut. A little over two years ago I got my first hair cut with Kelsey and I've been going back ever since. The attention, quality, and service provided by Kelsey and Matt cannot be beat!

A friend and I made appointments for today as we talked about needing a change. Rough winter weather and neglect left my hair dull, lifeless and out of shape...a quick consult. Shampoo, scalp massage and conditioning treatment followed by a great cut ..... we were Sassy.... shiny hair, bold cut, hair flipping sassy!

I got my makeup done for my daughter's wedding, they did hair and makeup for the whole wedding party. They did a fantastic job. We all looked gorgeous.

My braids look amazing and I still have my edges. My daughter gets her braids here too and she loves them. The prices are great as well.
