Foster (Timothy) Park

Foster Park has a great playground and a huge water playground. The playground is located near the northwest side of the park and includes a large play structure with several large standalone elements, including a zip line, arched climber, and large metal climbing structure. There are also standards like slides and monkey bars and a variety of swings: toddler, adaptive, belt seat, and tire.

The general setting and non-play elements are great; it's a classic playground with a wood chip play surface and wooden benches with easy access to the fieldhouse.

The water spray features - more accurately called a water playground - are impressive. I visited in October (so nothing was on) but it was one of the largest water playgrounds in the city.

All in all, this is a great playground with a wonderful water playground; highly recommend.

I've been coming to this park since I was a kid and some of the same staff are there which makes it nice. One of my son's on swim team typically has a meet in the fall and one in the spring (Junior Lofeguard) there. Very friendly place for the regulars.

Great place to have an outdoor workout. Always meet some interesting people out there on the track. I have yet to try their classes but my neice loves their afternoon swim program.

Aquafit and the outdoor track is awesome!🤗In good shape and its soft great for jogging and walking! The water play area is great to! I use to take my kids when they were younger😀

Nice park

Foster Park's consumers/participants, offers programs for the family (children, teens, young adults and seniors). The staff and administration have been very approachable, caring and concerned people. This combination makes for a great park facility to be affiliated with in my opinion.

Was at the 41st annual classreunion picnic with the Calumet H.S class of 1977 it was cool to see old classmates man times fly. I'll tell anyone who reads this is that whatever you want to do in life do it now! Time waits for no one believe that!

I grew up going to this park. I atended Paul Coffee elementary school when ot was on Bishop street and later attended Cook School. Now; every year, we all return to Foster Park for an annual reunion. We bring our kids and enjoy reconnecting, while bar-b-queing and dancing to the DJ playing music. It's a wonderful time and no violence - thank GOD!

Like this neighborhood park. Walking around the track is wonderful early in the morning so peaceful and the surrounding neighborhood is quite. Very nice experience for early morning birds.

A diamond in the rough. Nice track great pool and tons of activities for all ages. The staff will blow you away, they go beyond the call of sevice. You may find yourself asking "are these people city workers?" As far as gangs go I saw some in Starbucks Saturday I guess I'll post there that they cater to the lawless. LOL. I LOVE my Foster Park.

Growing up as a kid hanging at my grandfather's house with my cousin was everything especially going to Foster park, she always had a Charlie horse once we were done playing, lovely memeories

I started walking today, I did 3 laps tomorrow I will do 5. Trying to strengthen my lungs back since covid.

Today was the perfect day to go to the park and enjoy the Autumn air and playing the leaves

My nephew had a birthday party here. Room upstairs was big and nice. Staff was amazing and helpful...

The people there are nice and the staff is willing to help. Clean park and lots of things to keep you entertained.
