The desserts and food from here are consistently delicious!!! The ambience and energy inside is lovely!Perfect place to pick up special treats for gifts, a picnic on the beach (~5min away), special events, and more!!

Such a warm and welcoming experience! This shop is run by one person and the owner is proud of her work and she makes almost everything in the shop! And all the chocolate and pastries are made in house. We tried the cheesecake and it’s so yummy! Will be back again!

I came here the other day and I got the chocolate chip cookies, bourbon cookies, marshmallow and dark chocolate. Everything I got was FANTASTIC. The chocolate chip cookies here are the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve EVER had- no competition. The chocolate quality is so wonderful. On top of that the service was incredible as well. I cannot wait to come back!!

The handmade chocolates are the real deal, and the New Orleans-style beignets are a delicious treat. What’s more, the genuine warmth and kindness of the lady working there towards my daughter, who was visiting Chicagoland for the first time, made a massive impression upon her. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Evanston.

Fun decor and friendly owner and staff. Bean to bar chocolate- first in Evanston- the owner told me. Got dark chocolate bars, vegan cookies for my vegan friend and a goat milk chocolate bar. To my surprise, I enjoyed it. Was not too sweet, a bit savory and creamy at same time. Also got nougat bar with almonds and cranberries and a pecan praline and gluten free cookie- chocolate chip and sweet potato bread pudding. All were delicious and homemade. Will go back for hot chocolate and different cookies and for the goat milk chocolate bar. Great woman owned business. She covers most dietary restrictions so most everyone can get treats.

The sanitary and cozy environment at Noir d’ebene is completely fantastic. All items I purchased were fresh and homemade. They tasted absolutely phenomenal! I highly recommend stopping by. Make sure to grab a cookie! The chocolate chip is super good!

I consider myself a major foodie & I’m quite passionate about fine chocolate. All items I ordered were top notch! My family said they were the best sandwiches they ever tasted. One bite & it was deliciously obvious the amount of love and precision that goes into Shannon’s sandwich craftsmanship. You will not find a more scrumptious cup of soup at any other eatery!

I am so happy that this new shop is a part of the Evanston community! I remember seeing signs for its arrival and being so excited! And now that it’s here, I can’t wait to try everything on the menu! Shannon, the owner, is absolutely adorable and you can tell that she puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Every time I have visited, I automatically feel so cozy in the shop and know I will leave with something that she took such pride in creating. Staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. The crêpes were sooo delicious. Coffee was on point. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Stopped in today on a whim after I picked up some meat from Homestead Meats. Decided to sample a few things (Louisiana pralines, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate with toffee and butterfly gummies) and we could not have been more impressed with everything we had. The gummies are gluten free (and some of the best we have ever eaten). Those Louisiana pralines - I am from Louisiana and I am telling you guys - this is the best I have had anywhere outside of Louisiana. These were beyond amazing. The chocolates here were an absolute treat and I can't decide what will be the driver for my next trip to Dempster and Chicago - this place or Homestead Meats.

I came across Nore D’Enene by accident, but am so glad I did. Not only were the pastries beautiful to look at, they tasted like heaven. The shipowner SHannon was delightful to work with band generous with her time. I am now going to make it a regular stop...I can’t praise her abs her delights more!

This place is stunning. The craft and care taken with every piece of chocolate is a confectionary delight. Also, the cookies and the pralines are an absolute must!

Experienced gluten-free and standard cookies special order from this shop and they are like no others! Fantastic…and look forward to trying other delights from this shop.

Beautiful store and absolutely delicious chocolates, cookies and cakes. The vanilla cake, lemon poppyseed cake, brownie and white chocolate with rose petals were all excellent.
