And prices are good. I’ve paid more for Italian restaurants where the food was nowhere near as good or as authentic.

The pizza with grilled pumpkin, speck, and hazelnuts was AMAZING. We both loved it! I love the creativity and flavor. Literally perfect.

My spouse said his pasta dish (which was spaghetti with italian bacon) tasted just like how his mom would make it. High compliment.

I <3'd my pasta (which was orecchiette pasta with spinach and garlic butter) and it was not heavy.

Cannoli for desert which had fresh strawberry slices and mint as a garnish. It was so good. 😍

My go to Italian restaurant in Evanston. Food is always great. The grilled calamari, Cacio e Pepe, and carbonara are my favorites. Service is always good.

Best pizza in town hand down...stuff is very friendly and professional...restaurant is clean and well maintained. We tried their pasta and pizza, and everyone was very happy with the food. Choices of food are endless. Also, their cappucinos and lates are so good. We ll definitely come back.

Very few Italian restaurants still do a good clams with linguini. This place does, along with wonderful risotto, and many other things. There is an excellent wine selection and very good pizza, though we usually take the pizza to go. Great place!

Excellent pizza- definitely make reservations- pizza was quick- and really reminded me of Tony’s Baltimore Grill in Atlantic City.

Organic, sustainable ingredients mean everything is fresh. Service very friendly, though can slow down when busy. Fresh seafood and shellfish, and hand made pasta like Nonna would make.

This place is fantastic. I highly recomend the Gnocchetti Formaggi and the Rigatoni al Salmone. The desserts are wonderful too, especially the cannoli, but try a mousse if you want something a little different. Call ahead on weekends or for special occasions! You can also get full service at the bar if you aren't too picky.

I have a new favorite restaurant! We went to Trattoria D.O.C. over the weekend and it was absolutely divine! I had the gnocchi which was mouth-watering delicious and we split the chocolate fudge cake for dessert. Plus our server was the daughter of one of the owners (the owners are sisters). Love the vibe inside and we will most definitely become regulars!

We started with the fried calamari. Delicate, tender and flavorful. We each had a different pasta dish, all of which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was attentive and professional. Will definitely return.

Last evening was a wonderful night in Trattoria. It is great that we are safe now to dine in and have a dinner with friends. Catching up in person feels so good!!! On top of that, when you have fresh and delicious food from all the sections of the menu, time is promised to be remarkable.

I ordered take out for the pappardelle so funghi porcini and it was amazing. I ordered and picked up within 10 minutes and the food was hot and fresh. Noodles taste homemade. 10/10 would order again.

Five stars for the food, which is delicious, authentic, traditional Italian. This is hands down the best cacio e pepe I have had in this country. It is absolutely perfect. The pizzas are just like I had in Rome. The service is excellent and they are now open for lunch. They also have one of the few dog-friendly patios in Evanston. My only complaint is that they close fairly early, very often before their posted closing hours, so be prepared with a Plan B when you show up at 8:15 and they are already dark. It's happened to us a few times now. The management hasn't responded to me when I have asked why they do this.

What can I say.... everything about this place is amazing. Their olive oil is like no other.
