YWCA Shop for Good Evanston: Women's Resale Boutique

I love that all of the store's sales support our local domestic violence organization. It's definitely pricier than a lot of thrift/consignment shops, but your dollars are going to a great cause. Plus, you can find great scores: I just picked up a vintage, limited edition designer blouse with an incredible print for only $24. Last but not least, the volunteer staff is lovely and helpful.

The Crowded Closet is by far the best consignment shop in near the Chicagoland area. The merchandise is unique, classy,and the prices are reasonable when you look at the quality of the garments. It is like a crowded closet, except it’s not filled with junk. Really fun to spend an hour just going through it. I always find at least one fantastic thing to bring home.

This store was very clean and well-organized. However, they only had women's clothing, and the prices were a bit expensive for used items. I would come back to see if next time they had more things that were my style. The people working were very friendly.
