El Patron Mexican Restaurant & Bar

Probably the best Mexican food I have tried in the Quad Cities. I had it delivered, so I can't speak to the restaurant ambience itself. I had the shredded beef chimichangas. I am very fond of shredded beef in Mexican food and it is surprisingly difficult to find. While not the best shredded beef I have had (originally being from California), it is very good. VERY LARGE amount of food for the price. Good rice and beans. Their cheese sauce, while tasty, is unusually thin.

I've ordered food from them many times via door dash but I finally got a chance to dine in and it was wonderful! Our server was so kind and helpful and the food was on point. Generous portions and amazing flavor. Love this little spot. Will definitely be back and also order again...and again...and again!

The owner and employees Made me feel as if I was a guest at someone's house. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it . The place Is spotlessly clean . I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will eat there again

Hands down some real good Authentic Mexican food! First time trying this place and food was HOT and Fast service! GREAT waitress! We had ground beef tacos, a steak and a chicken chimichanga and Fresh Hot Rice!! Great food! Great atmosphere! We WILL BE BACK!!

Great service. Nice location. Mediocre food. The super burrito is just a regular burrito that you would get three of at any other similar restaurant.

I had the El Pastor tacos for lunch, very good. Free chips and salsa! Atmosphere is a classic Mexican restaurant with separated bar & dining area.

Never disappoints! We get it to go about once a month and the food is always great! My fave is the Don Burrito - a lot of food for the buck and tastes amazeballs! We do eat in now and again, and the service is always fantastic!

My first experience at El patron was at a celebration of life for my beloved friend Mary Smock. It was a very hard day, but when we gathered here we all had a wonderful happy time. The wait staff could not have been more accommodating. The food was delicious! My second experience was meeting my beloved friends family for the first time since her. passing. It was so perfect and fitting to all meet there again. The weight staff and the food did not let us sort down!! Excellent food!!

Teak burrito lunch is very good and the chips and salsa have just a bit of bite. Staff is friendly and efficient. I take business lunches here :)

First visit while staying with family. Monday night around 6:00, not busy. Food very good and authentic. Service excellent. I had Chicken tacos. Very nice portion

The food and service is really great. The last time I went there was a bit of a foul smell. It's not the kind that is anyone's fault, but it was off putting. All that to say, I still ate there and enjoyed it.

Best Mexican place in the QC. You won’t regret the tacos but my favorite is the pollo el patron!

I would give this place all the stars in the world if I could. I eat here very frequently and everytime I come in they are so polite and friendly. On a rare occasion that they accidentally mess up my order they fix it right away. I have never walked away unsatisfied from el patron. I recommend everyone in the quad cities try this restaurant at least once.

Went here last week and the food and service was awesome! Huge variety of meals and combos to choose from. Staff was friendly, service was fast, and food was hot and well prepared. Everything ordered at my table was delicious. Margaritas also came in various sizes and were tasty as well. Hope to eat here again if the opportunity arises.
