Dennis answered the phone while he and his team were working on a huge commercial job to discuss my little project. He listened carefully and said he would get back to me. He called back when he said he would with some great ideas. I wish more companies had leaders at the helm who were professional, dependable, clever, and friendly like Dennis!

Great product, excellent service, and quality installation by a friendly team! The panels are quite rugged with strong stitching, heavy bottom weights, rope pulleys, and a solid hook and bungee mounting that is both strong and will flex in the wind. Top notch company and made right here in Michigan!!

Dennis and his team did a great job. We had several door walls covered for winter protection. Dennis was out quick to provide an estimate and had his team out the next week to install the covers. Very impressed with the prompt service!

Our screened in porch is elevated approximately 10 feet making our drops difficult to manage. We live on Lake Huron and Dennis was more than willing to take time out of his personal life, for the second year, while visiting this side of the state to update our bungee’s and get us buttoned up for the winter. Traverse Bay Canvas is an amazing company to do business with. Dennis and his crew are very hard workers and do excellent quality work. I needed a patio enclosure for my daycare children to be able to play outside still in inclement weather and hotter days. I was able to get a grant and Dennis was willing to work with me and was very patient during all the bookwork and time it took to get the grant. I will now have some very happy daycare kids during their outdoor time.

Great service. I had a center support snap wearing through on my boat canvas. They did the repair and added a new snap in another location to aid in shedding rain. The work was done faster than we could go and have lunch. I am very pleased with their work. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

My husband, Mark, went to Traverse Bay Canvas to repair a ski boat buckle of all things! The material around the buckle needed repair. They were so very helpful and creative and repaired the boot while I waited. Outstanding customer service!!

Have a rooftop deck that needed protection from snow and ice. Reached out for months to another canvas company. Finally reached out to Traverse Bay Canvas. Dennis was responsive to my inquiry, came out shortly thereafter to discuss options. Canvas covers were completed and then secured to a custom structure built to withstand wind and snow loads. Overall, very pleased with TBC. In addition, I had a rooftop canopy that was purchased from another company. Dennis came out this spring to help me install and properly tension it. Dennis is a straight shooter and will get your work done.

Called to see if they had any Tear Mender to patch some canvas. Didn’t think they had any but then he called me back after about ten minutes and he found a bottle. He offered it to me for free as it had been sitting on a back shelf forever.

That’s crazy customer service and deserves a 5 star review. I didn’t end up driving up to Harbor Springs as I found some closer and wouldn’t cost me the time and travel but, definitely appreciate the gesture. This place is looking out for the customer!

Several years ago Traverse Bay Canvas (under former management) installed porch opening coverings. They never worked and I got little or no help from TCB. On a whim, years later, I wrote a letter explaining that people working on other areas of my home, noticed that the rope and pulley system was not matched correctly...the pulleys were too small for the rope size, causing friction and not allowing the coverings to be raised or lowered. Dennis told me that the company was now under new management and they would make it right for me...and they did. Now, new, larger pulleys replace the small ones and the coverings were rehung. This is a testimony to the new management. I would highly recommend TRAVERESE BAY CANVAS. FIVE STARS for sure...more if I could.

I asked them if they could complete a project for my boat with a really tight timeline that was outside of what they usually do. Instead of just saying "no" they went out of their way to provide me with some supplies to complete the project myself and also sent along two recommendations for other vendors who would possibly be able to help!

They made and service curtains for our porch. We’ve worked with them for over 20 years. They make great products and provide great service for those products. Highly recommend Traverse Bay Canvas.
