Fantastic, personable service two days in a row! Parties of 3 and 4 were handled flawlessly but they are capable of much larger groups. Food is always delicious.

Always just the most delightful food served by gracious and friendly people - today we had the lovely Rita helping with our menu selections, she was awesome, the food was great (of course!)!

Ok Vacation I’m Maine🌲Meeting family for a nice Seafood Meal. This Newport location has food customer service. Willing to please! Cozy atmosphere, lots if seating. Family and kid friendly. Lots of parking.
Scrumptious seafood choices. I had the broiled Haddock with a baked potato and Pickled Beets. Also Lemon , pepper rubbed Salmon was really tasty.
Definitely make this a place to enjoy fresh Seafood. They also have burgers and chicken if Seafood is not your fancy.
Maine is definitely great for your taste buds.

We stopped here after a camping trip and on the way back home to Jersey. Had sweet and spicy shrimp (not spicy), lobster roll, broiled scallops, and finished up with Maine blueberry pie. Everything was delicious! Recomend coming off the beaten path to go here for through travelers.

My wife and I arrived on a Saturday evening just before 6 p.m. We were seated within minutes despite it being very busy. Our server, Angela, was awesome!! I ordered a cup of New England Clam Chowder as an appetizer. My wife and I both ordered the Angler's Platter, a fried seafood combination. I ordered Cole Slaw and French Fries as my sides. My wife ordered mashed Butternut Squash and Onion Rings. The Chowder was amazing! Full of clams. A thick tasty broth. The Angler's Platter consisted of Whole Belly Clams, Sea Scallops, Baby Shrimp and Haddock. The portions were very large! Everything was cooked to perfection and was extremely flavorful. Some of the best seafood I've had in quite awhile.
I can't say enough about the wait staff. All were smiling and working quickly to take care of the customers. Our server, Angela, was so on the ball that she saw us slowing down our speed of eating and knew it was time to bring boxes. She was handling many tables but still noticed what all her customers were doing and anticipated the next move! Kudos. Great atmosphere at this exceptionally clean restaurant. Restrooms were well stocked and spotless. From our table I could see into the back of house and the entire area was spotless and very organized. We were looking for a good seafood place and we found a great one. We will be back again very soon.

very good food, The salmon was mouth watering, The lobster sandwich had amazing flavor the potatoes had just the right amount of gravy and garlic And the fried pickles were cooked to perfection.

The batter on haddock and shrimp was perfectly light and crispy. They offer special sides like butternut squash, and pickled beets or up-charge sides like fried pickles or mushrooms . Portions are generous and reasonably priced.
Be sure to leave room for dessert! Grapenut pudding, chocolate creme pie and coconut cream pie are all made from scratch and were excellent. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

The food was AMAZING! The portions were so generous! I got the shrimp scampi and sweet potato fries and it was DELICIOUS! My kiddo loves his hot dog "guppy meal" and my other half got the fisherman's platter and we enjoyed all of it! We got dessert to go because we were so full from dinner!

I absolutely love this place and the people who work there as well!! The food is soooo delicious and ALWAYS fresh and hot!! Our waitress(Ashley) was super nice and extremely patient!! It was my birthday, so I was taking pictures and goofing off, and she never once rushed us!! She let us take all the time we needed and didn't make us feel guilty about it, even laughing and joking around with us at times!! Such a sweetheart!!

The food wes absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was awesome!!!! The service was fast and pleasurable!!!! Our server Rosie was the best!!! She was an absolute sweetheart!!!! All kinds of parking and seating!!!! If you are in the area, this is a must stop!!!

Always great place to stop and eat here. The garlic mashed potatoes is a joy!

Would you just LOOK at that prime rib end? I took a before and after of my plate.

Delicious seafood, fried to perfection. The rolls were soft and warm. The potatoes and gravy were total comfort food. The limoncello cake was sweet without being overly so. Very generous portions. We'll be back!

It's been a bit since I've been there but when I was there the seafood platter we got was amazing! The staff were awesome and I live the atmosphere. Welcoming, comfortable and friendly.

When in Maine visiting family we had a large group of 10+... the staff was very friendly and accommodated us. The waitress was extremely friendly and patient since there were multiple seperate checks. She kept our drinks full, and our food was ready really quick. My lobster roll was delicious, and my husband and son enjoyed the steamed clams and clam strips. (Picture of my lobster roll) Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great place. Friendly staff. Thank you for the hosipality. ROSY was fantastic. Seafood was done just right and Reuben sandwich was one of the best Ive had in a long time, even better than mine. Total for 2 sodas, jr Anglera platter and Reuben- 55.60.

Huge portions of perfectly cooked seafood in a comfy rustic rural setting. Love the fireplace, the wait staff, the perfectly fried haddock. The lobster stew is to die for and be sure to order a Bloody Mary with a spiced rim. The lobster po boy was new on the menu and very tasty. Basically deep fried lobster tail with remoulade. And the haddock sandwich is always a sure thing.

We eat at Anglers frequently and are never disappointed. I'm partial to the lobster stew and haddock sandwich. Also the spicy bloody Mary. The desserts are homemade and also amazing. Delicious local food, rustic decor and a roaring fireplace all make Anglers a great place to bring out of town guests for a "real" Maine dining experience.
Edited: we dined here for the first time since covid. Outdoor seating at picnic tables has been added. Masks not required, respectfully distancing recommended. The food was really good. Lobster stew, fried shrimp and calamari, pickled beets. We'll be back soon.

Best Lobster roll, Best Clam Chowdah, Best Haddock Chowdah without having to go to the coast! Lost of food at an affordable rate, and the waitstaff was friendly and sweet.

The BEST Fried Whole Belly Clams in Maine. I have been visiting all over the state for the last 4 weeks…I know! These are exceptional. Great fried mushrooms too. Too full to have desert but took Blueberry Pie with me for the road. Don’t miss this seafood jewel in Newport.

My first trip to Maine, best food so far! I recommend the lobster stew and sauteed lobster. Our waitress was the best!
