The Maine Store

I frequent the Maine Store at least weekly, for meals, gas and a good hot cup of fresh coffee. The staff is helpful, polite and very friendly. Now, let’s talk about the food! Good home cooked specials, delicious sandwiches that are packed FULL of fresh ingredients and my personal favorite the bbq kielbasa in the warmer. So good! I highly recommend!

They have the best fried chicken around so crispy and tender. Everyone in my house loved the chicken. My Husband loves the cheeseburger bomb. He could stop talking about how good it was. The workers was extremely friendly and nice. Definitely will be going back so worth the drive

I absolutely love this store! The food is always good and my picky four year old who “hates”chicken unless it’s in the shape of a dinosaur loves their fried chicken tenders, so that’s saying something. Even better than their food is the staff who works there, who all go out of their way to give excellent service, especially Sonya, Rosie, Jake, and the sweet girl cashier. You all are awesome!!

The Maine Store is a wonderful home town, one stop Store! The food is delicious, and their new menu had something everyone will love. This quaint corner store has friendly staff who take pride in their family atmosphere.

Love going here for hotdogs and fries. It just tastes so good and my father can't resist the sausages. It also helps that it's so close to me. It's practically walking distance.

totally enjoyed shopping here with a glass of wine. This was a true well rounded shopping experience from the unique times, warm customer service, and atmosphere. Simply a great vibe. I had a magnet issue with a bracelet that was quickly replaced with a new....no questions asked.

The fried chicken is delicious super juicy and crispy, 10/10 would make the drive to go there again. If im craving chicken i know where ill be getting it from now on. 😋

This place is amazing. The people are super friendly the food is GREAT. It is exactly what small town/country stores should be but usually aren't.

This is a Historic family owned and operated country store in the heart of Detroit Maine that has been in business for over half a century. They sell Gas, propane, diesel as well as off road diesel. They are hands down the best place in the local area to get Fried Chicken.

They make an AWESOME chicken parmasean !!! It's the only place I get one.

The new owners are absolutely rude an the food is terrible prices are way to high on a lot of things as long the new owners continue with there attitudes they both have they will be closing the doors just as quick as they got opened the store itself has a good reputation but the service is horrible I don't recommend anyone going there shouldn't even get one star honestly

Prior customer now unsatisfied 😔food in warmer is barley warm. Kabasa a big seller looked like it was dry. Barley sauce in pan. When telling cashier she just brushed it off as 🤷‍♀.
