Martha's Pizza

Good pizza next to a upscale gourmet mini grocery store. We ordered then shopped. Pizza was really good.

Found this place when browsing the net looking for a good food 😋 . Worth every good word said about this place.

Best take away pizza in town says me. Often we just luxuriate around the house as they whip up the best pizza in west Michigan. The value is confounding, such high end ingredients and superb crust quality coupled with vintage pricing?

Great little pizza spot nestled in the middle of the neighborhood. Small, tasty thin crust pizza that you can also get by the slice.

There’s no seating inside but there are a few tables outside next to the market next door.

First time trying Martha’s pizza tonight and it was delicious! I ordered the margherita pizza and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves thin crust pizzas as much as I do.

I love this place. They have vegetarian, gluten free ,non diary, products. I love their deli as well.

I purchased a Pete’s Dragon full pie. Tasty lil reptile. Thin, crusty boy, fresh topplers. Hundo P - will order again.

Excellent fresh made pizza to take out or purchase by slice and eat at the one of 4 patio tables with umbrellas around the corner along the Lyon street.
We had veggie pizza, spicy habaneros, olives & peppers with feta cheese as well as cheese & pepperoni pizza for kids.
We all enjoyed every slices and all fresh ingredient toppings & a various different cheese melted on.

Initially we walked from Grand Rapids Art Museum to check out Nantucket baking company then a passerby local suggested to try a slice or two pizza here.

I think it was $1.50 for a small slice of pizza which were already baked and waiting to be served under the heat lamp at the display counter. Due to constant stream of people coming here to get a couple of slices, the baked pies were constantly changing and option of 6 different pies are always available.

If you’re near downtown and wanted to try some artisan pizza fast & cheap, this would the place to stop by. A plenty of parking behind the building and lots of street parking right in front as well.

Martha’s pizza offers vegan cheese also as well as gluten-free crust for $2-3 extra. Just need to order your own pie with special non-dairy cheese which takes about 4-5 min.

Walking from downtown took about 25-min and a bit of uphill from Winchester PL on Lyon Street going East. Lyon Street is one way road going West.

For whatever reason it's way harder than it should be to get pizza by the slice in GR, but Martha's absolutely slaps. I never look at the menu and just end up grabbing whatever they have under the warmers and have yet to be disappointed. Great drink selection at Martha's Vineyard too.

Excellently crafted local pizza. They do small pies (12in I think?) and they might be a bit pricey, but what you're paying for is locally made pizza dough, I believe Nantucket's but not sure since they moved out of Martha's and it was remodeled into Martha's Pizza, and you also pay for premium ingredients. The menu pizzas are excellent, but I'd recommend just stopping in to buy a slice or two from the few they make to sell as slices throughout the day. I recently ordered my first take home pizza and was very happy to also get cheese sticks. The sticks were flat and crispy, and went perfectly with the cold, garlicy, tasty marinara on the side. We ordered the Extra Special (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, kalamata olive, green pepper, onion), which I've never had before, but was incredibly happy with. My only complaint was the dough could have risen a tiny bit more, thus a couple slices felt a little floppy in the middle, but it was delicious nonetheless and I know their pizza isn't normally like that since I go for slices pretty frequently. Overall, 10/10 would order again when I want a well crafted thin crust with premium toppings.

The most consistent great pizza in town. Slices always ready to go. Sometimes there are Detroit style personal pizzas available with the slices and those are excellent. Good salads. Good vegan options. Lots of fun drinks next door.

Super cute place called to order pickup when we drove through. They were super sweet even though we were early! Pizza is delicious, it's some amazing fire oven pizza! Ordered the red devil!

Martha’s has the best pizza in Grand Rapids, hands down. The crust is perfect, flexible on the main but crunchy towards the edges. The sauce is the perfect ratio between spicy and sweet. Don’t even get me started on the pepperonis… sensational.

Pizza is number one in Michigan believe me is good I almost eat every day thank you ❤

Best pizza in Grand Rapids, hands down. Get the Volcano, you won’t be disappointed.

You can buy pizza by the slice here. The pizza is thin crust. You can get veggie or meat pizza slices. Their pizza is excellent. The people are friendly. Prices are reasonable. You can buy one slice or you can buy the whole pizza. Is this the best pizza in town? For me, the answer is yes.

Great pizza to go. Not really anywhere to eat at the spot. The attached store has a great wine selection and other items to go with the pizza.

I have no idea who Martha is and why she started making pizza. But it was delicious. Their thin crust dough is fluffy and crispy. Great balance of flavors. When I open the box it’s like love at first sight every time. My taste buds and arteries approve.
