Fresh Start Coffeehouse

This place is definitely a must visit if you are in town or just driving by!! They have the best customer service and know how to treat their customers you can tell they really love what they do! That’s the one thing I look for! so many options and food too! (I didn’t get food yet but I’m definitely going to be back for the food!!!) definitely a hidden gem! Highly recommended! I ordered the Paul’s perfect coffee and it’s so rich and creamy and the flavor is like nothing I’ve tasted.

Wonderful environment. Quite, cozy place to work. The cappuccinos are delicious, & came in real mugs. Which is pretty cute! 💚 Happy we got to come on this adventure.

Very welcoming and nice staff. They make a very good coffee. My lavender latte was delicious. It's a nice place for a drink (they also have food) and chat. They have plenty of tables and couches.

Hidden Gem! Just randomly discovered this café and was so impressed with the atmosphere and friendly staff. We only had time for drinks, but we will be back for more very soon.

Delightfully charming. The fact that places like this still exist brings joy to my heart. The space seconds as a church on Sundays so don’t bother visiting on the Lords’ day. Craft fresh coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pastries are essential to the overall experience of Fresh Start! I highly recommend this spot if you’re ever in Monroe or Maybee, MI.

The breakfast at Fresh Start was amazing. Everything was so delicious. But what really amazed me and my family about Fresh Start is the LOVE atmosphere of this place. You can feel the love as soon as you open the door. The cute products sold at the little shop at the entrance, the beautiful decor frames and paiting on the walls, the altar, the service, the conversation with the owner, the blessing and prayers for the recovery of my daughter (she is recovering from a torn ligament that is preventing her from dancing) and my mom (she is sick in Brazil)... all in this place is LOVE. It is a shame that I live so far away. For sure when going to the US I will pass by to give and receive some love at Fresh Start!

Everyone is so friendly! I will be returning! If you like Starbucks... well, let's just say I'll drive further to get my coffee now

Fresh Start Coffee is a wonderful new coffee shop in Downriver! The staff and atmosphere are welcoming, the breakfast is delicious, and they've got a wide variety of coffee drinks. There's plenty of seating for gatherings and a pretty amazing stage for live music and performances.

Hosted our Mimi's 90th party here and the staff were so accommodating and kind to work with. Excellent service and great drinks! Cute little gift shop with products from 15 local vendors.

Truly thought this was going to be a hole-in-the-wall, but from the moment you step inside it's a whole different world! Such a great atmosphere, I ended up staying for two hours talking with Kristal the barista! The coffee was phenomenal, the Paula's Special Latte I highly recommend if you enjoy multiple flavor profiles in your coffee. Their cold brew is to die for. Seriously check them out if you're in the area! Right off 75 and located next to dispos for those who partake. It is truly a gem. Oh...and they support the local community and provide support for those in recovery and those who have been incarcerated. Definitely worth stepping into this place!!

Stumbled across this gem while camping and had a great experience! The coffee was amazing with many options. The ambiance when you walked in was extremely warm and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and inviting. I only wish I had more time to sit and enjoy it longer.

The Café is quite large for a coffee-house. It doubles as a church on Sundays. Coffee is excellent though I wish they had larger sizes than just a 16oz. I usually order a plain latté and maybe a sandwich. Last time I was in I tried their Mexican Mocha. Chocolate, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and Dutch chocolate syrup. It's amazing!

This place was beautiful inside, so welcoming and calming. The staff was so sweet. They had biscuits and gravy this morning that were top notch! Made us feel safe like we were at home!! I'd give 100 stars if I could! Fluffwr nutter mocha and iced coffee hit the spot as well. This will be my new daily stop!

Today was my first time coming here. I was very impressed with the menu and the coffee. I ordered a mocha cold brew iced coffee, and honestly it was the best coffee drink that I have tasted in a long time. The coffee tasted like it was fresh ground. I would pick their coffee over Starbucks or Biggby any day. The atmosphere inside was really cool. Lots of places to sit. Stools, chairs, and couches, made the place feel cozy. I can't recall the Barista's name, but she was very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back here

Great espresso, great food, and always feel as welcome as your own home. Paula, Vic, and their employees are incredibly nice!
I stop in 2-3 times a week and have never been disappointed.

Enjoyed coming here to hear Tom Treece and his band. Very nice coffeehouse.
