Everything was wonderful. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere. But what really stood out was how lovely the staff was. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We would love to comeback and even bring our friends next time. And that chocolate cake was the best we've ever had!

My friend booked a table for 16 here to celebrate her 24th birthday. It was lovely from start to finish. The service was the best I've ever had. Everyone was so genuinely kind and attentive. I had the "mushroom cappuccino soup" as a starter, and it was so good I had to pass around bites. So insanely delicious. I could have eaten four bowls of it. Everything we ate was perfect, and the atmosphere and decor was awesome. I would definitely return here for another special occasion.

Last night was our first time here and we will be back! I’m happy to have a new place in GR with multiple vegan & vegetarian options. The complimentary bread service was great. Both of our plates were much larger portions than we were expecting. Many times more upscale restaurants have small portions, so we were pleasantly surprised. I got the vegan balsamic chicken and my boyfriend had the chicken piccata. Our server Curtis was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!

First time back at mangiamo since the reopening. Mangiamo was a family favorite for years. We have definitely been looking forward to coming back. Maddie P was lovely and accommodating. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere is top notch. The space is even more fantastic than before and the food is reimagined in a way that compliments the upscale new look. We will definitely be back!

Excellent and friendly service from being greeted immediately upon entering to the attentive wait staff. The dim light added a romance touch to our date night dinner. We like a bit more seasoning to our chicken, but overall the food was excellent. The redskin potatoes, pesto chicken dish and tiramisu were absolutely perfect! Best tiramisu I have ever had. We will be back. Great experience.

Had a great experience. Didn't take many pictures but the food was outstanding. Scallops were cooked perfectly. The hanger steak just melted in my mouth. Dessert was the olive oil chocolate cake. It's been awhile since I've had anything as delicious and sweet. The servers were super helpful when we had questions about some dietary restrictions. Definitely will be back.

What a lovely way to celebrate my birthday! The drinks were slow but each dish was excellent and the vibes were immaculate. Shout out to our highly personable server, Liam, who made us feel like the most important people in the bustling space. Thank you for contributing to our great evening.

We celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. My wife and I were very satisfied with the food, the service and they also gave us dessert for being our anniversary.
I really recommend this place!

Wow what a transformation from what the building was before. They've thought of every detail and their service is impeccable. The food is outstanding. A great date night out special occasion place. Love the ambiance and the cocktails with the real candle light and fireplaces going.

Wow! We had an amazing time, delicious food, wine and drinks while dining here last night. We will be making this a monthly dinner date night and have been telling others to go here. The staff here are very attentive but not to the point of overbearing/annoying. Friendly, helpful top notch staff! The ambience is great for a business meeting, meeting friends, celebrating lifes milestones but is also very romantic for a date night. Each meal was cooked beautifully, seasoned perfectly and delectable.
Mos cocktail lounge located downstairs is sophisticated, innovative, and fun.

We had a wonderful time here celebrating my wife's birthday. Very beautiful historic building. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was phenomenal!

The food and atmosphere are 10/10!! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, it is the perfect place for a special occasion dinner. They had a ton of great vegan options on the menu as well!

The service, the food, the atmosphere was above and beyond, in all aspects, truly top-notch! As someone who has serious food allergies, I have to be cautious about where I go, as certain foods can land me in the hospital. The server went back multiple times to check and double check how my meal was prepared, which was so very appreciated. My husband's scallops were seared to perfection and melted in your mouth. The olive oil cake was so rich and moist that my husband swore he would only eat olive oil cakes from here on out. It was the most incredible meal we've had in awhile. We cannot wait to go back.

I could not stop talking about my experience when I returned to work. This was one of the best dining experiences we've had in months. We had the Spicy Italian Mule, Honey Beez Old Fashioned, Hazelnut Espresso Martini, PB White Russian, Roasted Garlic Chef Board, Black Label Tenderloin, Saffron Risotto, Truffles & Parmesan Reds (to die for), and the Panna Cotta. The service was outstanding; I wish I had written down his name because he was an angel and so funny. The only downsides were it was a little dark, and the tables were a bit close together and maybe hard for some. If you're looking for a new special occasion location, this is it!

We throughly enjoyed our experience at the new and improved Mangiamo! Mangiamo was a family favorite back in the day — great food, great service, and we could always get a reservation for our large family. I was nervous when I saw the upgraded, fancier atmosphere and feared that things would feel overpriced but that was not the case! The interior is gorgeous, even better service, and plenty of price points on the menu. I’d highly recommend getting there early for cocktails at MO’s. Really fun vibe, interesting drinks and a cool way to start your night out. Props to the team. Will definitely come back soon! (And thank you for keeping the baseball meatball around!)

Beautiful place! Romantic! Food portions are huge and flavorful! Service is amazing! Went in my birthday and received an extravagant Tiramisu with hand poured chocolate and a cookie basket. Nothing like I’ve ever seen! Our waitress and staff did an excellent job! So pleased.

I couldn’t possibly give any part of my dining experience tonight less than five stars! The service, the ambience, and the food were second to none. My friend was able to find plenty of vegan dishes - very accommodating. Everything was just outstanding!! Kudos to our server, Garrison, who was amazing, and the manager stopping over to make sure everything was to our liking was a nice touch! Truly, my new favorite restaurant! One of the best dining experiences in Grand Rapids! Food, drinks, and service was amazing. Stopped at Mo’s cocktails after for another drink! We already want to go back!
