Lyon Street Cafe

I recently visited Lyon Street Cafe over the Christmas break, and it exceeded my expectations! The cafe boasts a charming and cozy ambiance, complemented by ample seating and beautiful natural lighting from the big window. My go-to mocha was a delightful treat – hot, chocolaty, and utterly delicious. The friendly barista added to the positive experience.

What sets Lyon Street Cafe apart is the unique outdoor huts available for free hourly rentals. Purchasing any item from the cafe grants you access to these cozy huts, each equipped with its own heater. Hanging out with my friends in one of these adorable huts was an absolute joy!

I highly recommend Lyon Street Cafe for its warm atmosphere, great coffee, and the extra charm of those charming huts. A must-visit spot for coffee lovers! ☕🌟

It was pretty busy when we went but found parking an a table to sit at. My sister stopped in to work for a little bit and grabbed coffee and a pastry. The muffin I got was really tasty, moist, and I would buy it again and my coffee was also really delicious. Because it was busy it was an energetic atmosphere but I was still able to work efficiently while there. Overall the staff was fantastic, our orders were delicious, and I would recommend visiting if you have the chance!

Here's review 500, you guys deserve it! Out of all the coffee shops in Grand Rapids, this is our favorite (hot take, deal with it madcap) the iced miel is so good. Grab that book you've been meaning to start and sit for a while at Lyon st Cafe. Everyone is friendly - the workers and customers too.

Love the location! Not too far of a walk to downtown and the neighborhood is cozy. The drink is an iced caramel latte with almond milk. The flavor was sweet and delicious! The food item is a yogurt parfait which I wasn't a big fan of because it was a little bland but I still ate it. Nice cozy place to study or even have a coffee. They also have alcoholic beverages here too! Give it a try if you're in the area.

This is my favorite coffee place in GR and has been for a decade. Even though I moved out of GR, I still go out of my way to grab a pour over here and stop at Martha's Vineyard or the bakery. The staff here are always kind and pleasant and they make the best coffee in town. The olive oil cake is also amazing. Can't speak highly enough of this place and the folks who run it!

The London fog and Mocha Latte were delicious. Wonderful atmosphere!

Tried for first time. Authentically good coffee. Tried the cortado. And the cinnamon coffee cake muffin. Really good. Decent and calm music to add to the atmosphere. Parking available on the side of the building and on the street.

The staff was very friendly, and the coffee was very good. Love the decor. I also got a raspberry coffee cake muffin, which was delicious.

This place is just fantastic. The vibe inside is super laid back, the music is always on point, the treats are delicious, and the Cafe Miel is the best I have ever had. They know what they’re doing here and it shows. The only thing I would change about this place is that I would make it bigger so there would be more seating, but I know that the seats fill up because they are full of people who love this place as much as I do.

No food options yet, but that's in the works from what I hear. The coffee is incredible and the friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's a great place to get some work done while enjoying premium coffee or to catch up with old friends.Stellar location with a nice outside seating area.

One of the best coffee shops in Grand Rapids. Cozy in the winter and on rainy days. Perfect location. Free parking. Love the atmosphere, oh and the coffee! Great place to work/study or meet friends. Super fast free wifi.

This is such a wonderful coffee shop. They have baked goods from next door; there is a fantastic bakery. I got a latte with caramel added. Seriously delicious. So much better coffee than most places. It can be a bit crowded because, clearly a local favorite.

I loved the vibe that you get from the moment you walk in. It's very well lit, cozy and the music is at the right volume. Staff was very helpful and the menu is not overfilled. The pastry looked good but I'll try it next time. This time I had a chai latte, it tasted really good!

Lyon Street has, perhaps, the best espresso I've tasted. It's an Ethiopian with pronounced berry notes. Whenever I'm in Grand Rapids, I'll be sure to stop in.

Greet local spot tucked in a residential area. Beans and coffee were quality, baristas made an excellent pour over, and a nice, sunny, airy vibe. Highly recommend!

Beautiful coffee shop with excellent espresso. There is a large selection of seating options, however the shop is usually packed! They offer a wide variety of drinks along with several pastry options. Very high quality staff! There is customer parking available.

Love this coffee shop to break up the work day. Only downfall is they don’t serve cold brew, only nitro - opt for an iced coffee if cold brew is your go to. Stop next door when you leave for a loaf of bread from Nantucket bread co.

First time here. Ordered the Rosemary Honey Latte (sounds like it is a seasonal flavor) and OMG I am in heaven! Listen, I don't like Christmas, but this thing tastes LIKE Christmas, and it's delightful!!! Highly recommend it. I'm glad I went out on a limb to try this "odd" flavor combo. Cannoli was tasty too, and what a great atmosphere. It seemed loud when I walked in, but after 5 minutes of being here, everything kind of blended together and it was super cozy. Love the simple decor and the laid back feel. Can't wait to come back!

Cozy place. Had the best holiday drinks this year. Especially loved the oat nog latte and spiced cranberry tonic

Fun place to eat. Unique menu selections. Staff was attentive and helpful. Had the feta wrapped grape leaves. Yum.
