Kaffeine Place - Bar & Restaurant

My fiancee and I just had our first visit to this place, and it was phenomenal! Food was 10/10, atmosphere was quiet and cozy and comfortable, and the service was prompt and friendly.
We both got coffee beverages as well as food, and presentation and taste were both incredible!
They were also able to cater to my partners gluten allergy, which is a huge plus for us!
Only slight downside is that it is rather pricy, but I am happy to support a small local business when I can afford to!

Unique food options for a cafe with good coffee and a nice modern vibe. I enjoyed the ambiance and the high tables right next to the window which run most of the length of the restaurant. The spicy chicken sandwich was of good size. The sauce was sufficiently spicy without being overwhelming and has a deep chili flavor that melded beautifully with the chicken. The chicken had this nice tender fattiness about it and the egg was a nice touch. The greens cut that richness and the bread was nice and soft. It was very tasty and filling. My wife enjoyed her avocado toast, pretty standard. I will say, It is on the pricey side but enjoyed this place overall

Conveniently located off the interstate for a quick caffeine break. We had the potato pancake, coffee and strawberry matcha latte. Everything was great. I’m always on the lookout for unsweetened matcha and this hits the mark perfectly. Counter staff were helpful and friendly. Parking is free at the back of the building.

Kaffeine Place is the hot new place for Korean-fusion food and coffee in Grand Rapids, Michigan. From boba tea to bulgogi dishes and all other delectable Korean food essentials, you can find them all here in this cozy, bright, cafe-style ambiance with incredibly efficient service. Things you should try are their k-dogs, potato pancakes, and their blueberry lavender matcha over ice! And just know that this business is owned by one of the best people I have come to know as all of her food is prepared with love and care!

Lots of bright natural light. Good atmosphere. Matcha latte with oat milk 10/10 - I got the 24 ounce and I think it was around $9. Live plants by the windows is always a huge plus for me.😍

My buddy recently turned me on to matcha latte’s and said Kaffeine has one of the best in town. I’m not a matcha pro, but it was so good that it was gone in about 120 seconds and I wanted a 2nd.

Natalie served us - per usual I asked a bunch of dumb questions about the drinks cuz I didn’t know what I was doing - she was patient, friendly, and definitely aided in making my first Kaffeine trip a good one.

An absolute joy from the second we walked in until the moment we left!

The cafe itself is very cozy, with big glass windows to let all the sun in.

The food was phenomenal. We got the bulgogi burrito, chicken rice bowl, and miso soup. Everything exceeded our expectations. I think the prices are easily justified, you can tell that they use very high quality ingredients, and my chicken bowl will easily be two meals for me.

We also grabbed a turmeric ginger tea latte to go, it was heavenly! We will definitely be back. I can’t wait to try them for their dinner service!

This place is a Must-try! I have been to many cafes in LA, Portland, and Seattle; this cafe is one of the best that I have tried. Modern, clean, spacious, and chic ambiance with surprisingly great coffee and food. A perfect place to stop by for just a cup of coffee, to have breakfast/brunch, or to hang out with friends for lunch with an amazing Korean-American food.

Their flavored lattes and avocado toast were delicious; I could tell that they use fresh ingredients. Korean food items were flavorful and very impressive, and I know a thing or two about Korean food from living in LA for a long time.

Staff and owner/chef were courteous, welcoming, and accommodating. Hope they open for longer hours, but the sign says they adjusted their hours due to short staff. I will definitely be back and more!

The Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso was incredible!! Food was delicious and creative. Highly recommend this cafe!

Unbelievable! Korean Beef Bulgogi Breakfast Burrito! Say that 5 times fast,,, it’s the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. And that says a lot. The previous best was the authentic Mexican joint in the main concourse of the Denver Airport… third now belongs to Pedro’s Tacos in San Clemente. #1 is Kaffiene in Grand Rapids!!

I don’t give 5 stars easily because that’s reserved for excellence. But this place definitely impressed me! Service is very friendly and helpful! Food came out in a very timely manner.
Now the coffee was good and beautifully presented! I ordered the SSS Bulgogi which is Korean beef on a toast with sauce and an egg on top! I don’t usually like meat, but this stuff is good! Would definitely recommend.
Cozy, and nice coffee shop atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge at times but it’s free if you park on the road. If you’re thinking about visiting, do it! I recommend it! 🇰🇷 🇺🇸

Food was delicious, portions were decent as well. The K-dog is traditional and worth a try at least once. I had the bulgogi bowl and was satisfied with the serving size and taste.

Being from the Metro Detroit area where there are a lot of Korean restaurant options, I was excited to find Kaffeine. Amazing ramen, bulgogi toast, bibimbap, and even pastries when available. They also have coffee and bubble tea. I’ve always craved their food in the evening so I’m super excited that they’re finally offering dinner!

I can’t rave enough about how good all of the food/drinks were. I came with my mom and we got the chicken dumplings (we came for the bulgogi dumplings but they don’t always have them), the smash toast, the bulgogi toast, and an iced caramel latte. Everything was SO amazing. The bulgogi was so flavorful and filling, I could only eat half of my bulgogi toast. The chicken dumplings and the sauce that came with it were so amazing it was like the perfect comfort food. I didn’t try the smash toast, but my mom said that it was sooo good. I got the latte, and im not much of a coffee person but it was so perfect. I’m definitely going to have to stop here before work sometime because I need to try everything on the menu. The staff was also very nice, made conversation and was do helpful. It was also not busy at all, but we also came a little after they opened so there was not much of a wait to get our food. Every aspect of this place gets 5 stars! Definitely an amazing treat.

This is my favorite place to go for coffee and lunch meetings. I love the space, the coffee, and food (especially the bulgogi toast)! There are booths, hightop tables, or lounging chairs, and I’ve always been able to use all of these spaces for various work/professional meetings. I’ve never been let down by the food or drinks either!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Coffee was very good and the food even better. I ordered the egg croissant sandwich while my boyfriend got the bulgogi sandwich, both were sooooo good. It was a little in the pricey side, but we’ll worth it!

Went for the first time today, and it immediately entered the conversation for our favorite place in town. Very friendly staff, delicious food, and tasty drinks. Kaffeine Place is an absolute gem. Can’t wait to go back.

Delicious food, including some fusion dishes that are bursting with flavor. The breads and croissants are professionally baked, just the right amount of crisp. The coffee is smooth and the atmosphere is clean and modern. Great coffee spot that serves surprisingly good food.

My coworkers and I enjoy going here for lunch. Only thing that keeps me from coming back more frequently is that it's on the more expensive end for a cafe lunch. I love that the korean corn dogs have become a constant menu item and their sandwiches make a great lunch.

Only negative experience I've had here was I had ordered some type of green tea latte and found it disappointing. Not sure if I read the menu wrong, but I was expecting more of a matcha latte and I'm not sure if that is something they do. The staff were happy to remake one for me though, so I don't think this experience was the fault of the business.
