Gateway Assembly

Only having been here for Ted Shuttlesworth Jr. I have to say I was very impressed with how this much this church operates with high levels of excellence. As I was watching the members supporting one another I was taken back to the book of Acts. Their genuine love and support for one another left me in awe & wonder. You can see the heart of the Pastoral family represented in the way their church members love each other like a family. Truly remarkable to see the generational unity & love for God. I would highly recommend anyone to attend. They teach the truth in love! Thanks for allowing us to be included in your pursuit to become more Christ like!

My family and I were visiting from Wisconsin and we absolutely loved it. We felt so welcomed and so impressed with the staff!
Such a cool worship band and the pastor's preaching was spot-on! Anytime we are in Michigan we will definitely be making a visit!

This church caries the presence of God! My life, and family, has forever been changed by Jesus through the discipleship of Gateway. Love the pastors and leaders and how they lead us in the ways of Gods words. I love my church!

This church is Home. We moved, so now I mostly only get to live stream service but the pastor's message usually leaves me in tears and awe of the goodness and greatness of our mighty Lord. This church has me so excited about our Savior. I want to scream from every roof top "Praise Jesus'! Love you all!

I have attended Gateway for 12 years now. I will continue attending here because the word that is preached is truth from the word of God and aligns with the spirit within me. I took some time and read the 1 star reviews and it really blows my mind. I would say that these reviews do not line up with what is experienced here at Gateway. Keep in mind that the pastoral staff is part of the body too just as greeter or nursery care worker. Each job makes up the movement of the body of Christ and without a part of the body another part will suffer. The Pastoral staff has every right to review this church just as the greeter or nursery care worker or a first time attendee. I would encourage everyone who reviewed a 1 star to come back and really open up there hearts and let God work within you. It is your job to know the word of God. Open your bibles to know if the word is being preached accurately. Let the Holy spirit guide you not your own emotions. You will then begin to see and be guided and you will know immediately if something doesn't line up. I attended a local denominational church before Gateway and God placed me here for a reason. I would encourage you to look me up here to tell the rest of my story because it's to long. Love this Body that makes up this church and its Jesus Christ who is at the forefront.

A little over a year ago I was working as a cashier at Wendy's, when members of We Are One Youth came in for lunch. They were so happy and kind, which was refreshing when every other customer had been rude and impatient all day. A Few of them stepped out and invited me to come to their youth service, and I did that night. People I didn't even know went out of their way to make sure I felt included and comfortable. My life has never been the same since. Because of this church, I've encountered the Lord in a way I never had before having attended Catholic Church every Sunday for all of my life. In this place I've found a family. I've found people who genuinely care about my life. I've found pastors who are intentional about every conversation they have and take time to let you know that they love and care about you. Ive found leadership who have shown that they ONLY want to do the Lord's will and that they have my best interests at heart. I've found my home. My life will never be the same, and there are no words to fully convey how grateful I am for that.

God's greatest blessing in my life was when He allowed us to find this church. And when I say church, I don't mean the building, but rather a group of believers who are willing to stand for the Word of God and to have a passion to see others loved and saved. None of which is possible without God's anointing and wisdom that He has given to all the leadership within the church. The pastors of Gateway love every member and newcomer despite their past and present. Without them, I would not have such a passion and love for the Lord as I do now. I encourage you to check them out.

I've been attending Gateway for about eight years, and hope to be there for many more! Because of the pastors and leaders at this church, I have learned so much about God and the Bible. They preach straight from the word, and are more than willing to take the time to discuss topics deeper if desired. Since joining We Are One (the youth ministry) I have grown in my walk with God, created a deeper understanding of who He is, and been given an opportunity to participate in my first missions trip! I receive an abundance of love and support from the pastors and leaders in this church. I am thankful for the family I have found in Gateway.

My family and I have attended Gateway for a little over 10 years. We were drawn to Gateway for many reasons but the two that stand out most are the presence of God and the kids/youth programs. We are raising our 3 boys in the church and all three of them are connected and love their church. Pastor Jeff preaches from the Word of God and his messages help us in practical every day life. The Krist family is full of love for the Lord, love for other people and a love of giving back to their community. We consider it a true blessing and are filled with thankfulness to have found this church home when we did. We have many many friends who we have introduced to Gateway, most of them tried it once and have never left. If you are looking for a church filled with imperfect people who accept you as you are, I suggest you give it a try. I'm pretty certain you will love it!

I have been a part of this church for 10 years. I came by myself at the age of 16 and instantly became part of a family. They teach the Word thoroughly, love compassionately, and serve the community humbly. I am so honored to be a part of a church that truly keeps Jesus in the center of everything they do -- from the worship to the message to the outreach and everything in between. The lead pastor and his wife are true servants of Christ -- they lead selflessly and love unconditionally. I've never felt more accepted. This is my house. This is my home.

I walked into Gateway 14 years ago and never looked back. Gateway has seen me through the hardest times of my life. They've loved me and poured into me. Our Pastors aren't afraid to share the truth, which is the word of God. They preach, teach, and believe the bible from front to back. I'm so thankful for my Pastors, who each have such a unique anointing over their lives. I'm so thankful for my church. Gateway has shown me the love of Jesus time and time again. I love my Pastors and my church. This is home. This is family.

Very humble and god filled church. Provides an amazing youth program with very welcoming pastors. Although it’s different from your average youth group, I’ve never been to a better place. They make you laugh, tell you stories, and have themed series to make youth feel a stronger to connection to the word. The community the church provides is amazing. They have events like ignition to include even people that don’t go to their church. They always give back to their youth and the rest of their community. The youth group always makes new people feel involved. Their sermons posted online make it easy for people that can’t attend to still get the word of god.

My family and I have been coming to gateway assembly for 27 years, the love and family friendliness of this church from the Pastoral staff to the greeters are only a few reasons why we keep coming. EVERY TIME you walk through these doors you feel the Love and presence of Jesus Christ! The messages are relevant to you and what you're going through. There is Always someone who is willing to walk up to you and pray with you when you need it. The youth and childrens ministry is not just a babysitter, we love these kids to Jesus which in turn they spread the love to friends and family that don't know about Jesus. Jesus Christ is the center of everything we do and preach! I love going to Gateway!

Gateway assembly has been a game changer in my life. I went from being a rebel without a cause to someone with purpose simply because I encountered Jesus there. I've had the honor of working closely with the leaders and pastors of Gateway for a little over 6 years now and have gained many incredible friends in the process. I'm so beyond blessed to be a part of this church and have the spiritual family that I do. Since day one I have felt nothing but love and acceptance there. Through some of the darkest times in my life the leaders and pastors have went above and beyond to lift me up. God's word is taken seriously there and so is how you walk out our relationship with Jesus. I couldn't ask for better monitors and people to just do life with!

I would not be the person I am today without the wonderful pastoral staff and members of this church. They follow the Bible and care so deeply about each individual person they come in contact with. We go beyond the doors of the church to reach our community and the surrounding communities. I was privileged to go on a missions trip with the young adults this summer. The way the Lord used us to reach people in Africa was truly amazing. I would, and do, recommend this church to any and everyone!

Just for the record I am NOT part of the pastoral staff for those of you thinking that 5 stars is coming from staff only. I have been coming here for about 5yrs now and am proud to call Gateway my home. My walk with Christ has grown so much! I have been in and out of church all my life and have tried several different churches and even though those churches were filled with kind ppl it just didn't feel like "home".

I was separated and going through a divorce, foreclosing on our house and was unemployed when I first came to Gateway and was welcomed with nothing but God's love. I was never EVER pressured in to giving money as some claim. The pastoral staff,reg staff and volunteers are all wonderful! They preach,teach, and live according to God's word. Are they perfect? No. Are we perfect? No. We just live each day to the best of our ability according the word. Yes we are going to stumble along the way but God sees us and knows our need and gives us what we need to get back on track. The youth group is amazing and is what my children needed through the difficult time of divorce. They too have grown in the Lord....ALOT. The support is outstanding! Obviously since we are still here 😉

Gateway has a HUGE heart and is always wanting to give back and help the community. Nothing but love here. Nothing but love. Pastor preaches straight from God's word and nothing is sugar coated which is what I love! God is doing a tremendous work here. You feel nothing but his presence as soon as you enter the doors!

Other people's opinion is just that..it's their opinion.You make your own choice. EVERYONE is welcome here! 😊 As for me and mine this is "home"❤

Jesus is my rock and God has come to me in this church. He's helped me through my Dads death and he has also gave me a loving home (I was adopted). But it all leads back to this church that God has come to me and told me that everything is fine. The first time I came hear I was greeted right away by the staff and they showed me love and comfort and some how I just new God was at this church.

I have been going to this church for about 5 years now, and within my time being here not only have I re-dedicated my life to Jesus, I found truth. With a pastoral staff willing to help me develop in my calling and are clearly called to lead this church! I am called to the ministry and will finish within the next two years, and if it weren't for the training and the internship program I decided to do here at Gateway I wouldn't be where I am today.

If you're looking for a church, this is the place to be! The Spirit of the Lord is so evident when you walk through the doors! And the people here are AMAZING!
