Absolutely the best Dentist ever. I trust him completely. Dr Merlos calms my fears, treats me respectfully and does his work very professionally. His staff is excellent, friendly and very welcoming. I appreciate them all so very much. A+ Services. Highly recommended.

Best dentist I ever had! Dr. Merlos made me feel totally comfortable in the chair, was efficient, friendly, informative and did a great job bonding the space between my front teeth. I loved his nurse, hygienist and staff who made me feel most welcome. Thanks for such a good experience!

Worst experience with a doctor in my entire life!

I had an infected tooth towards the back of my mouth. An in-law contacted Mr. Merlos and described him as a "friend". I was able to get in right away that day.

I specifically asked for an extraction of the tooth but he argued that it would be better to try and save the tooth.

He completely rushed the process and I always had the sense that he was just trying to get me in and out as if it was a liquor store.

He installed a Medicated filling and I came back a month later to get the real filling. $200 later I thought my tooth was fine. After 5 months of watching everything I ate and not chewing on that side, I experienced some more excruciating pain from that tooth and scheduled another appointment. I missed that appointment and scheduled another one and missed that one as well.

I didn't feel bad about missing the appointments because if he WOULD HAVE JUST EXTRACTED THE TOOTH LIKE I ASKED FROM THE BEGINNING i would never have needed another appointment.

I finally got into the office and I thought it would only be fair that he extract the tooth without charging me anything (because that's what i asked for in the first place), but instead he recommended a root canal....and offered to give me a "deal" for $1,093.00 for just the root canal and temporary (NO CROWN).

I thought that price was ridiculous considering the circumstances.

So he finally agreed to extract the tooth.

I sat in the chair and he told me that he would extract the tooth but did not want to do anymore work on me because "he didn't like how I did business", and then very quickly/roughly/NOT gently put the numbing needle into my mouth (without asking me if it hurt) and seemed angry.

At this point i felt very uncomfortable, and got up and told him that I didn't feel comfortable with an angry dentist
pulling a tooth out of my mouth.

He told me that the reason he rushed the numbing procedure was because his kids were calling and it was an emergency. I thought this was extremely ridiculous because he was working on my BODY......this wasn't an oil change.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!

Worst dentist ever. After having a broken tooth infected, he insisted on filling it after he cleaned the infection out. I wanted it pulled but he insists on saving the teeth when possible.

2 years later, that tooth infection spread to two other teeth and through my jaw. Ended up getting bacterial arthritis and going from 155lbs to 118lbs from flu like symptoms. Ruined my life completely. All because he wouldn’t pull a tooth.
