Love this park! Big dog park. Tennis courts in decent shape. Only one net up right now though for some reason but whatever. Baseball and two soccer fields. Grass is well maintained at both. Several basketball courts and a playground as well. Plenty of parking and is connected to North Ottawa Dunes. You could park here and go on a day hike up through Hoffmaster state park no problem.

Beautiful place for a hike, pickleball, baseball, basketball...and even a dog park. Very cool place. Much larger than it seems.

A great place for individuals or families. There are trails through the dunes that connect with North Beach Park, baseball fields, volleyball nets, playgrounds, and nice hills for sledding in the winter. Plenty of parking, and you can walk across the street to access Ottawa Sands County Park.

Nice dog park and a bunch of different dogs that get a long with everyone .We also have a frenchie group so if you liked to bring your frenchie or any dog your than welcome message me if you want information for the frenchie group ..please bring poop bags also to keep this park nice and clean and bottle water for your puppy sometimes the water bowls dont work that is why...

Beautiful views and nice hiking.

Park is still a little damp from being flooded in the spring. But is a nice area to walk. Has a dog area for dogs to run free in fence area open. Bathrooms open, but are closed twice daily for cleaning. Playground is small, but fun.

My first time here, March, Great beach will have to come back

Very diverse park, big field's, dog park, playground, all kinds of different people doin different things. It's awesome. Trails lead to and from it, you can get to the forest, the dunes, the beach or chill in the spacious park. This park treated me well

Fantastic park! Those responsible for the planning & decision making for it are to be commended. We visited family here last weekend & brought out ACD-GSD mix & she had a great time playing with other dogs.

I don't have a dog, so I can't comment on that aspect but I love this park for kids and family time. My husband and I will walk or drive down and use the basketball courts frequently. Always nice and well kept! I love how the trails will take you to Lake Michigan or up to Hoffmaster.

This is a lovely place to hike with a variety of trails to choose from. The coast guard park is also located next to the ottawa sand park which has more trails to hike on and explore. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes the outdoors.

Love this park! We hike here all the time, bring our dogs to the dog park and come play as a family and every time it's well maintained, lots of parking and clean.

It was a great place to meet new people.
We hooked up with another car club from Grand Rapids.
We could carry on low volume conversations.
Will go there again.

Good park for kids and picnics. It has a shelter, playground, volleyball, soccer and baseball fields. They also have basketball courts, a sledding hill and paved trail loop through the woods. Great starting point for North Ottawa Dune trails. You can also walk to North Shore beach from here along a trail through the woods for an adventurous hike or walk/bike/rollerblade the new multi-use trail along North Shore Rd.

Great place for everything under the sun! Meeting up with friends for party's or the dog park. Plus it's close to the beach and mainroads too. I enjoy the park very much and so do my Fur kids and my extended Family!

Awesome hike in very well shaded Forest. Works well in hot summer days. Can be done with kids. Multiple paths of various lengths and difficulty. Well marked so no chance of getting lost.

Afternoons are amazing here, many things to do, places to go and things to see!. You can enjoy a nice walk, great food. Best time to visit would be during coast guard festival, it's a great and unforgettable experience.

Nice older park with a lot of options to do. Picnic area, play ground, basketball, tennis, dog park an nice bathrooms.
