Jersey City Police Department

Update 01/19/2020 ***

Well it’s been 2 years since I wrote my original review. It’s it’s year 2020 and I am now on jury duty. I can confirm that the police officers are still very attractive. Lawd have mercy.

Original review 2017:
Polite and respectful department overall, they respond promptly. Not that this is of any significance, but some of them aren't too hard on the eyes either ;)

Keep up the good work officers! I know you guys try to get to everything as soon as possible but its hard.

I made a call about very loud music on my block.1 hour later noneone showed up,call them again ,still noneone, They actually never answered after 12 calls,the phone just kept ringing,it happen on 8/14/22 .WHERE'S MY TAX MONEY GOING TO??

I went to this precinct yesterday to make a police report because I lost my wallet with important documents in it like my social who shouldn’t be there but unfortunately it was in my wallet, as soon as I got to the door one police officer run up to the door and asked me why I was here I said to file a police report for what I said earlier because I heard that’s the right thing to do he then went on and said that as a police officer he s telling me it’s not necessary because it’s just a peice of paper with no value for that reason I don’t need to do it . I knew that was b.s but I didn’t fight it and left so I m wondering if that’s racism or laziness because I clearly need to make a police report on that . I felt like he didn’t have my best interest at heart at all , I thought they were there to serve and protect us .

Call for other people to get helped and they end up at my door steps.

I call police they came immediately bt the police women is so rude she won’t listen to us 🙄😡

Called an hr ago for loud music still no one smh people have to work in the A.M.
