I followed Maryann to this salon. I have been a client of Maryann’s for years! She never disappoints and always does an amazing job on my hair. I used to hate getting haircuts, until I sat in Maryann’s chair. Her expertise in the way she scissors amazes me every time! When it comes to my color and foils I couldn’t be happier. Whatever she uses does not damage my hair! The salon is also very welcoming and clean. I never leave unhappy. First time coming here! Marilyn cut my daughter’s hair and mine. She did a fantastic job! I love her. My hair suffered from color damage and she brought it back to life again! Everyone at the salon is very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

I started looking online and searching for a new hairstylist. I found Marilyn M., Master Hair Stylist. I read all the reviews I could find and I was confident that Talkin' Heads would be the right studio to visit. From the moment I walked into the salon I knew I was in the right place. All the ladies are very nice and welcoming. Right away I could sense that Marilyn is very confident in her skills and knowledgeable when it comes to hair. She listened to my expectations and made her recommendations as to what she saw and what she could do to improve my hair. It was nice seeing someone who enjoys her job. Marilyn wants to make sure that everything that is done is to the expectations of her client. In the couple hours of me being at the salon I learned a great deal about my hair and how to take care of it to make sure it always looks great. Once Marilyn was done I was extremely happy with the outcome. My color and overall look are absolutely gorgeous. I was so happy to see my beautiful hair look so healthy and I love everything that was done. I will highly recommend Marilyn to everyone who want to have perfect hair color and style. 🥰

Gianna was friendly and made me feel comfortable. This was my first time scheduled for color & cut. She is very detail-oriented and wanted to make me feel and look amazing. Love the way she cut my hair with long layers to give volume and curtain bangs. The color match was on point since my original hair dye was all over the place with orange tones! Price is perfect! Found my new place and excited about my hair journey!

I have been living in Sayreville for a year moved from CT. It took me months of spending money on different salons. My hair was horrible. Well I found my Angel today Marilyn. She is so talented in what she does. I had a shoulder length hair and I showed her a picture of a short haircut. Marilyn did a better job than the picture. She did my roots and gave me some highlights. I was crying from being so happy. Talking Heads is the best place, they often you a beverage when you first walk in. The receptionist is a sweetheart. The whole salon is so friendly and alive. The car that washed my hair was the best. Well I am one happy camper. Thank you Taking Heads and Marilyn you really made my day, I can’t wait to go back. This was my second time at the salon. The first time I got a regular haircut and was extremely pleased. The most recent time, I wanted to do a little something different. Kerry did not disappoint!! I love my new hair!!

Marilyn is great! She brought me from a dark brown brunette to a lightened up blonde babe for summer. I’m so happy with the treatment I received!!! Great place and definitely going back to Marilyn again!

Nichole is an amazing stylist as well as an awesome person. both of my girls and I get our hair done by her and we always leave feeling better than we walked in. I am an anxious person in general but I feel so comfortable there. Everyone there makes you feel right at home. The salon is clean , the stylists and owner are great I would recommend them to anyone.

Fabulous place in a cute area. My hair is amazing.

I always have a great experience at Talkin Heads. Melissa does a fantastic job with my color and cut. I get many compliments. Kim also does a wonderful job and is a makeup pro. She did my makeup for my son's wedding and I referred a friend who also went to her and she was very happy with the results.

Came here about a month and a half ago for a new haircut. Since it was late at 8pm I googled for a hair salon near me and thank God this place was open it was a great experience! Nichole was so nice and bubbly and was so confident in cutting all my hair off it made me feel so comfortable. My hair was Little over shoulder length, being a new mom it was becoming a hassle even dealing with my hair. She gave me a great pixie cut that looked very feminine and stylish. Super easy to maintain and now it's growing in so nicely. I received So many compliments it was unbelievable how many people liked the new hairstyle. I wish I had some time to go back and color my hair, but being that I work so much I haven't had any time. One day I will stop by again hoping Nichole would still be there :)

I have been going to Talkin' Heads for a couple of years now and Kerry is PHENOMENAL! She listens patiently to any concerns or ideas that I may have but most importantly she TRULY understands my curly hair!
I have even taken my 10 year old son in to see her and he too thought she was awesome.

Another important thing I'd like to mention is Kerry's respect for time; the moment I walk in for my appointment she is ready for me. I so appreciate this consistency.

I will continue to see Kerry and highly recommend her to anyone who asks about my hair/ curls.
