This salon is phenomenal!
My very first impression when parking was that the twin itself has a very vintage aesthetic and I thought “the salon fits right in”
The vibe is so whimsical and pretty! All props to the salon owner. She decorated the place!
The environment is very welcoming, it smells good and everyone just seems so kind.

Aside from the aesthetics the place was clean and fresh. They do a really good job at keeping the place organized and stunning.

Now, to my haircut. I 110% recommend Dominique. In the last 6 years I’ve gone to stylists that didn’t listen to me or butchered my hair. But not here! Dominique listened to me and I felt heard like I’ve never had before at a hair salon. She educated me on products, told me about my hair type/porosity/texture, etc. and we had very pleasant conversations about life.

I know it was just a haircut but it was everything I wanted out of that haircut and I left that store feeling like a million bucks. I will definitely be going back for future services because I loved it there and if you’re looking around because you need a place to cut your hair or do any kind of hair service, go there.

This place is so beautiful! The town of South Amboy should encourage every owner of every shop to put that kind of care and detail into their store. The owner and my stylist Dominique were amazing. I will be going there for my conditioning and styling needs.

Small and quaint salon, everyone is kind and pleasant, the bathroom is spotless and overall nice atmosphere. I always love coming here to get some me-time in. Dominique is great at doing what she does and can do any crazy hair color that I find on Pinterest. She does a great job on coloring matching to the reference photos I show her and even with hair extensions as well! Would definitely recommend this salon to anyone!

This place is a hidden little gem. So quaint and personable. The first hair salon that I took a photo to, and they actually nailed it. Dominique listened to exactly what I was looking for and delivered. Needless to say, going forward, I will only be seeing her for all my hair needs.

Dominque does my hair and it comes out PERFECT every time! I like my hair very blonde/white and the color comes out exactly as I want. She styles and cuts my hair excellent as well. I have never got so many compliments on my hair before. Salon is extremely clean and everyone is professional and friendly. Highly recommend this salon!

I’ve been going to this hair salon for a few years now and Danielle the owner is who does my hair. I absolutely love how my hairs looks each and every time she does it. I highly recommend this salon. If you’re looking for a trendy style and color this is the place to go. The staff is just as wonderful. They make you feel at home and the place is super cute as well. Very stylish and clean! Love the place!

Danielle is fantastic! She is so sweet and my hair always comes out amazing! I always get great compliments on my hair after she does it. She is a pro at creating the exact style and color you are looking for! She is always offering hair advice which has been really helpful too! Worth every penny!

I use this salon all the time the owner is very personable. The inside is adorable and they are always up on the latest trends. The prices are also reasonable. I give it a 5 star review 👍

My wife went to Vintage for the first time needing some life to her hair after quarantine, and Danielle and her team worked their magic! There is such a captivating aesthetic to this place it almost feels like you’re in another world. The team was so attentive and worked together to come up with a game plan for the highlight, color, and tone. We were both so happy with the final result and will definitely be returning! I’m not one to normally do reviews but I mean I was just in awe with this place.

Dominique is the one who did my hair and I honestly love it! I was hesitant at first because I have never dyed my hair like this before but she made me feel so comfortable and helped me out so much. Due to not dying my hair like this before she helped me out by recommending specific shampoos that I should use in order to keep my hair vibrant! I can’t wait to go back and have her touch it up when it’s time!

This hair salon was wonderful. Not only was the owner (wish I could remember her name!) friendly and supportive, she did amazing work. She knew she was doing my hair for my wedding and did not up charge me! She had the lowest price of any of the salons I called and I am so glad I took the chance on her! A lot of guests commented on how beautiful my hair looked and how long it stayed up. Please support this place, it's absolutely great and I love how she has her creative antique touches and inspirational quotes hung everywhere. Thank you!

I got powder brows and my eyelash extensions done by Hope! She is amazing at what she does, i’m obsessed with my new brows, I never have to fill them in anymore, she did such a professional job! My eyelashes are perfect, I go to her to get them filled about every 2 weeks and she’s always very precise with her work and makes sure i’m happy.

Very cool place...I used to come here regularly a few years back. Had a time-crunch issue yesterday & Rebecca took me & did a great job on my long hair...she did exactly what I asked for. All the ladies here are really nice & accomodating.. the owner Danielle is especially cool..I've known her for years & when I walked in, she greeted me as if no time had ever passed. If this salon did manicures, I would have had that service also. The prices here are lower than other establishments..the cost at the end actually surprised me! Thanks Vintage & especially Rebecca, for your advice on hair care & your awesome job on my p.i.a. hair...lol!!! ♏*😎🌊🏄‍♀

Brought my 7 Year old for her first haircut with Rebecca and I was very pleased. She was kind, patient and understanding. They gave me a quick appointment and I didn't have to wait upon arrival. My daughter's hair looked beautiful and I'll be making this my new family hair salon going forward.

I absolutely love Vintage Hair Salon!! It is so hard to find a stylist that can cut short hair, and I have to say Danielle is AMAZING! The salon is so warm and inviting and the staff is great! Jason is super sweet and always there to help. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

Rebecca did a beautiful job on my hair. I had my first balayage done and I couldn't be happier. Everyone in the salon was very professional, knowledgeable and to top it off very nice. I cannot wait to go back to try some of the things Rebecca suggested in the future.
