Ramada by Wyndham Jersey City

I had stayed here previously when I was up there for college a decade back, ya know waiting for dorm check in and it was your standard hotel with included breakfast. Nothing special but never anything to complain about.

I was set to have the same okay experience this time until I got a call that there was a leak found coming from my bathroom. The SPEED that they had me in a new room was amazing, they also upgraded my room. Not that the standard room wasn't nice...I did lowkey miss the sitting area that my old room had. lol

but yeah I had a great stay at this hotel. It has been kept very well. I highly recommend picking this hotel for your next venture in the jersey city/new york area. Lots of good food near by, a quick barely 10 minute walk to the PATH station, and good hotel staff.

One of the largest hotel rooms I've stayed at. It was really good and spacious. Breakfast was very average but staff was helpful and location is walkable from JSQ station, so easy connectivity to Manhattan via PATH trains.

Room was nice and clean, service was excellent with the staff going above and beyond by holding our bags after checkout and taking us back to the airport using their shuttle during their scheduled times. Location was close to journal square with easy access to the city.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Ramada. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The staff member Justina was attentive and went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable. Great area close to train station! Will recommend this hotel to friends and family

Great convenient location, walking distance to subway. Great value for the money, especially considering you get free airport transfer shuttle service to and from Newark airport.

While planning our trip I called and spoke with Courtney, she was wonderful! So very helpful and helped make planning our trip so easy.
All staff we encountered were helpful and kind. Hotel was very clean and we loved the vintage feel.

If you are looking to save money while planning your trip to New York, this is the top choice for accommodation. The cleaning service ensures that the rooms are tidied up daily. Numerous Indian restaurants can be found nearby. Additionally, the Journal Square PATH station is just a 5-minute walk away.

This is a older hotel but we had a fantastic stay!! Staff were very helpful and friendly and it is walking distance to Path station

Clean room with a cute layout. The kitchenette has its own area separate from where the bed is and the bathroom has a window (with horizontal blinds). Could also see the top of One World Trade Center from our 5th floor room. Shuttle to and from the airport. Journal Square Path train is less than a 10 minute walk. There are places to eat, a grocery store and a liquor store, along with other shopping within walking distance. Relatively affordable considering how close you are to the city. The area felt safe, however I would not feel comfortable walking around after dark.

For the price, this was a great stay when our plane was canceled at Newark. It was clean. Comfortable, and quaint. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The carpets and curtains could use an upgrade- but it’s quaint my main concern is cleanliness.

Great hotel with a close proximity to New York City. In the heart of the Journal Square section of Jersey City, The Ramada is comfortable, clean and a great staff. Luis, Supervisor of Guest Services and Front Desk provides that extra service to make your stay worth it. Growing up in this section of Jersey City, many years ago brings back memories whenever we stay at the Ramada.

Beautiful little hotel close to the subway to Manhattan. Good beakfast, big and modern rooms and comfy beds. The bathroom and the closet are a little spartanic. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets and fast food nearby. All in all a very cool location.

Came here and service was great from Justina. She was very respectful, kind and answered any questions we had. Soft spoken, even talked and laughed for 30 mins. Felt very welcome. She didn't mind the kids playing around either, patient. Thank you!

We had 2 rooms, 2 adults and 3 kids. We're low maintenance bridge and tunnel. Very accommodating. Great breakfast. Comfy rooms. We don't need stinking amenities! A bar would be nice. Journal Square Path trains so close. Other places to eat near by. We all liked it.

So I have to say I absolutely love this place. Very friendly reasonably priced, very clean checkout is at 12pm instead of 11am. I have only one complaint no parking, however right down the block there is a parking garage $18 for 24hrs it is right across the street on Magnolia. They do have breakfast, a bar,
a gym, laundry services and much much more however temporarily due to Covid-19 all is closed and only cereal is served for breakfast.

A true gem of a place. The entire place is spotless, super clean. The front desk personnel are of course professional and pleasant but the entire staff is the same way. From the cleaners to the breakfast personnel everyone is wonderful.
The location is great. We were there 8 days and for 4 of them the car stayed parked. It's close to journal square which has a lot of shops and restaurants but also the subway station.
The price is super affordable for the area. You pretty much have to stay in another town to get a better rate
Next time were in town this will be our go to place. The Ramada Inn abs staff really made the get-away great. Thank you

Great hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. They offer breakfast from 6am-10am daily with a variety of items to fill you up. Their free shuttle service to and from EWR airport is exceptional. They go above and beyond in their customer service by offering a luggage room if you arrive early or even if you check out and have a late evening flight. There is hot coffee in the lobby 24hrs. Their front desk staff are professional and happy to provide a map with directions for the Path train to NYC. Overall, a pleasant experience and we would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel to stay and all Indian restaurants nearby

We were quite pleasantly surprised by the spacious and clean room. Our room had a bedroom and a common space with a king bed. It was so nice. The bathroom was a bit small and there was a strong odor from the carpet cleaner they had just used. But if you want to take a trip to Jersey or NYC stay here. It is also close to the PATH train but it's a bit sketchy at night. Also the parking lot near the hotel fills up fast but just get there early
