Now this is a place that needs to get a 5 Star Review. Been living in this town for about 8 years now and I believe this is the first time I can honestly say that this Deli knows how to make an amazing hero, and I've tried almost all of them. The people working there were nice and pleasant. They were warm and welcoming. The gentleman took pride in his work and crafted an amazing breakfast sandwich. Can't wait to come back and try one of their great lunch specials. They will see me often after today, thanks guys.

They are Amazing!!! They treat you like family and the food is great. You can definitely taste the homemade quality. That roast beef is F$##&# great, go try it. Dont forget the side of gravy to dip it, trust me.

I never do reviews but felt like I needed to. I never did a catering order from here because we always have used another place. Well let me tell you from the moment I called the girl who answered the phone was amazing and so professional. We honestly only gave them a few days notice and they were so sweet and were able to cater for us. The food was amazing. The owner was amazing. From now on I will only be using them for my catering orders. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

THIS PLACE IS MONEY! Amazing Staff, incredible sandwiches, the best fries on the planet… Chicken Cutlet Sub prov cheese with Bacon Lettuce Tomato and Mayo is next level .. INCREDIBLE .. need more people that care about putting out good food like these guys…nothing but success for this place

Fantastic place, Amazing welcoming atmosphere, caring and kind people, food out of this world and very versatile for almost any food you might be craving for . I typically get their breakfast sandwiches and it’s an amazing filling sandwich every single time as well as very affordable. Their roast beef sandwiches on Wednesday is to die for, and their meatball subs are too good to be true. I highly recommend to stop by and try them out!!

The absolute best New York style deli that I have found living in New Jersey coming from Staten Island in 20 years. Hands down the best! I met them yesterday and had the fresh mozzarella Italian hero and today I had their famous homemade roast beef 9homemade mozzarella caramelized onions and gravy on a toasted hero. This roast beef sandwich sells out in a couple hours every Tuesday so I encourage you to call and order yours early! I ate the whole thing and forgot to post LOL everybody has to go and try this place!!!!

The best food made by the friendliest people. I’m new to town and have been looking for this exact type of deli and I’ve found the BEST by far. Garden state deli and catering is incomparable to absolutely any place around. I ordered a chicken cutlet hero with fresh mozz and bacon and it was one of not THE best sandwich I’ve ever had. I was there kinda early in the morning, about 10 o’clock so I’m not sure if it was just coincidence because I ordered chicken so early but they were cut to the PERFECT thickness ( I HATE delis with really thick chicken cutlets) egged, breaded and fried TO ORDER! The bacon was sliced to order as well NO GREASY PRE COOKED BACON THATS BEEN SITTING AROUND ALL MORNING. The portions and prices are excellent. Last but not least is the friendly staff and atmosphere. I felt like I was in my families kitchen, not only was the women who took my order and checked me out extremely welcoming and friendly, but as the chef was cooking he greeted me and thanked me as I came and left. I’m so happy I found my new deli!!

I wish I could give this place 10 Stars. The food here is phenomenal best I've had out ever. The people here are super friendly just a great place. I highly highly recommended best place to eat. So.... for me it's more than just the food that makes the place. This local landmark building has been re invented which is a great thing for me.
The owner Jimmy was top notch, friendly and gave me a great breakdown on the how he started the location, and where he was trying to drive the business.
Home cooked food across-the-board. Fresh ingredients and a great atmosphere for a local deli. ( take out only ). I would recommend this place to go again, and I'm looking forward to of seeing what he brings in the future. Definitely give it a try for the local Sayreville , old bridge, East Brunswick, South Rive, area it's worth the trip.

Needed a good meal during break from a class i was teaching at the fire academy. Googled this place 6 minutes away, called in my order.... One of the best sandwiches i have had, and i go to a lot of good delis.... Had the chicken cutlet, peppers, fresh mozz balsamic.... cutlet was still warm, bread wasnt too soft and not too hard.... Service was nice price was great... ill be back

This place is simply unreal. The hot sandwich roast beef special was just incredible. While waiting for my food I was given samples of fresh mozz and roast beef. My only complaint is that I wish I lived closer.

The two people working behind the counter are very nice and helpful. The food is excellent and the prices are pretty good. Would absolutely recommend getting food from here. Best deli in Sayreville!
