Kennedy's Cove

The perfect spot for a blend of comfort and quality dining. During the week they do deals for two. We visited on a Thursday for two 20oz Blackened Prime Rib steaks, a choice of sides, soup or salad, and a bottle of wine for $85. We also enjoyed their Bacon wrapped BBQ Scallops! Many restaurants’ can not do Bacon wrapped right, but there’s is perfect! The fish tanks are a great touch and make for such a unique vibe.

It is a very buffalo eatery, sans the wings. Excellent food. Very high end. Very rich flavors with no corners cut. The blackened Steak is a must. The creamy stuffed pepper soup was a real surprise. Spicy, but not painful. And I encourage everyone to try the twice baked potato.

Kennedy's Cove has amazing hand made food, with a cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff. A little pricey compared to your chain restaurants but well worth it for the quality of food you get! I've never had a bad meal here and always look forward to coming back.

Small place, food was amazing. One of the best filet steak I've had in years. The crab stuffed scallops were absolutely amazing. The French onion soup was good, not too salty but I like the extra cheese on the sides of the bowl and there wasn't a lot of extra. No points lost for that because the taste was great.

A wonderful upscale restaurant, low lights and ceiling, fieldstone walls & open beams, quaint tables with ample space, plus awesome tropical fish tanks to amuse. The staff was quick and very friendly. Our server, Rayna was an absolute charm; very well-spoken for special meal offerings and prompt service. A great location for a romantic dinner or date; even a great a location for family dinning with child's menu. Highly recommend this restaurant for reasonable prices, as well.

We enjoyed a Tuesday Dinner for Two; selecting our entree's of a NY Strip Steak and Twin Chicken Breasts. Both blackened with Kennedy's delicious special seasoning and served on horizontally sliced toast. The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and the chicken was perfectly blackened crisp outside and tender juicy inside. Our sides choices of Tots for one (crisp and tender); and a Sweet Twice Baked Potato that was a smooth whipped sweet potato baked in a half skin (large portion). We also enjoyed delicious house salads.

We were a little upset after first arriving, as our friends were stuck in the snow storm and were delayed for a bit, the hostess refused to seat us until our entire party arrived. She did not even offer us seats at the bar, and there was no waiting area, so we stood there looking at the gorgeous saltwater fish tanks for 15-20 minutes while everyone who came in after us was seated immediately; meanwhile, we stood there in the way of everyone coming in (somewhat embarrassing! And chilly by the door). The food and drinks were phenomenal though, and our waitress Jill was amazing. The blackened seasoning they offer is definitely worth the hype. This restaurant has been recommended by many family and friends, and we finally had the chance to go. Would definitely come back (with our entire party present next time).

My wife and I went here for the first time for our 23rd anniversary last night. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very nice. She had the Caesar salad with chicken and I had the NY strip steak. It was an enjoyable dinner and we will go there again!

Get ready for the Best steak of your Life. I had the Blackened Bone in Rib eye & when the kid asked me how my steak was I told him that I could cut it with my fork and didn’t need a knife. And I wasn’t kidding. This place reminded me so much of Boxies steak Pit on Broadway in Lancaster NY. Brought back very Fond memories a must go to for the Best Steak in Buffalo & Up State NY.

5/20/23 Best steak I've had in a very long time. Cooked to perfection as well as perfectly cooked lobster tail with fresh melted butter. Definitely the best French onion soup in Buffalo, bang bang shrimp and classic casino were FANTASTIC. Keep up the good work!

Had the pleasure of dining here last night. We had a larger party but the staff was attentive, respectful and overall wonderful. The food was excellent and there were no complaints. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a small holiday get together in the future.

We loved the blackened steaks. Went for the weeknight deal prime rib for 2 that came with wine. The potatoes are the biggest we've ever seen. My husband had the side of fries which were hand cut potatoes into the large "steak" fries, and they are so delightfully extra crispy. We ordered the chocolate ganache cake, it was superb. Seating was limited, but we got a table right away.

Great steak, great environment and great people to chat with at the bar including the owner. He was super hospitable and took amazing care of me. The 10iz filet was awesome! Cooked to temperature perfection with a great crust. The GIANT baked potato was perfect and the salad starter was one of best I've had. I'd highly recommend this place as do ALL THE LOCALS. Trust you won't be disappointed and allow yourself the opportunity!

AMAZING food, cozy atmosphere, friendly & helpful service, super nice owner. We live 3 hours away, it was our first time here, and definitely won’t be our last. The 16 oz blackened prime NY strip was perfect medium-rare. The blackened 12 oz filet burger was quite possibly the BEST BURGER I’ve ever eaten. Stuffed banana pepper soup was fabulous. If you like a wedge salad then you MUST get the grilled romaine salad because it is a masterpiece.

In town for business, I was recommended this place by several people. So I had to give it a try. I had the blackened prime rib and it didn’t disappoint that food was delicious. My server Kim was awesome. Really nice atmosphere would definitely recommended it to any steak lovers out there!

Best steak in western new york! You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I love this spot!! The staff is always so nice and helpful, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming! We came here to celebrate hitting our 12 week milestone in our pregnancy and just visited for the last time before moving, to celebrate our relocation and hitting our 34 week milestone! You gotta try this place out!

Food was AMAZINGGGG. However the seasoning was nothing spectacular or “special” to someone growing up in a ethnic household… food was moderately priced, ambiance was quite dark for a place lacking color (pun intended) was a lovely spot none the less.

Excellent. A cozy place to get a really good steak. Kennedy’s Cove is expensive, but you get what you pay for. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

We sat at the bar, as the place was packed. Our bartender was phenomenal, helped us order the perfect choices.
