Awesome selection for float fishing. Has all the major brands you're looking for when it comes to floats, jigs, beads, Fluro leader, mainline, etc. Best shop around for sure. Also carries basically anything else you need for other types of fishing as well. I'm headed in Monday to stock up for the season.

There's a surprisingly large stock for such a small store. Everything I've needed was there. Prices are good , there's used and refurbished gear that cuts down on cost, and a great selection of bait. Friendly staff that knows their fishing. Better than a big box store any day. Also, if you need some last minute bait or tackle there's a vending machine out front that's always open to get the essentials after (or before) hours.

Capt Bob's is great. My little man had a problem with his reel. Capt Bob fixed it up and my son got to ask Capt Bob about all the cool stuff in his store. He has some really cool hand painted spinners right now that I am going to have to try out. My son ended up catching a bunch of blue gills today. Thanks Capt Bob!

This place is amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable owner ready with true professional advice. The most comprehensive inventory of any tackle shop I have ever seen in 50 plus years of fishing all over the world. A true fisherman's Paradise.

Very helpful, I have a lot of questions and certainly get more than $7 worth of advice for the bait that I'm buying. I'd say it's like getting hints from your friendly neighbor.

The proprietor, Steve is very knowledgeable and will help you make all the right choices, depending on the type of fishing you are doing. Steve is especially interested in fostering the love of the sport among children and is very patient with children. He often participates in community derbies to share his love of fishing to kids.
There is a combination of new and used items, making all your choices affordable.

I buy much of my tackle online - but Bob’s is my go-to spot for things I need ASAP. As a charter captain, I try to plan/watch my tackle inventory like a hawk but some days things don’t go as planned and my clients and I consume more tackle than expected. No problem - I know that when I get off the water, a short drive to Clarence will solve my problems. Steve maintains an awesome inventory - I’ve never gone in there looking for something and didn’t find it. He’s also a wealth of knowledge about fishing in he region and fishing in general. What a cool place and an amazing variety of fishing gear, tackle and live bait. (Hunting stuff too.) Most of all, Steve is very knowledgeable and was helpful in picking some lures that were just right for the lake I was going to in Canada. I got a pretty big Bass right off the dock!

Have been here several times in last couple months. Amazing selection of bait and lures and the customer service is great. If you can't find an item at big box stores, Captain Bob's probably has it in stock. I definitely recommend Captain Bob's to anyone that goes fishing regularly.

I took my 14 year old daughter. So she could get her first open face fishing pole. She found two that she liked. When we ask what one was the best one for her. They didn't look at the price. They just told us what was best for her. I will be going back.

Captain Bob's is a perfect blend of old school tackle shop with personal service. But very knowledgeable as far as modern gear and techniques. I could go to Cabela's and not find what I need. Bob's has it. I highly recommend this shop.
