Fantastic little eatery. Very patient with non-locals overwhelmed by their huge menu. Grasshopper, turtle, and mudslide brain freezes, orange-raspberry shake, and cuban sandwich were all fantastic!!!

Best Reuben I’ve ever had! Milk shakes were on point too. We will be back next time we are off-roading in the area.

Cute place with a takeout window, and covered patio to eat outside. Huge selection of food and ice cream, and everything we got was very tasty. The chili cheese fries are awesome!

My favorite little piece of home. From what seems like a million different flavors of milkshakes, to every deep fried food you can imagine, this place is a stop in Southeast Ohio you don’t want to miss! The BEST food, the BEST service, at the BEST prices!

While visiting we decided to stop for lunch. The area didn't have much other than pizza joints so we decided to try the main eatery. While the menu was quite overwhelming with choices we were told the burgers and chicken were local and fresh. We decided on a fried chicken sandwich and loaded potato skins. Both were excellent and the chicken was soft and tender with a light crispy batter. Later on in the day we stopped for shakes and had the Georgia peach and strawberry lemon shake. Both were delicious.

Food is absolutely delicious! The french fries are fresh cut potatoes. I think everything is fresh, no pre-packaged items with the exception of their breads. They have a small dine-in area and an outdoor deck under roof. It's a great place to go for a family night out and ice cream treats.

The people are awesome. Deep fried veggies are to die for, and you best be hungry or sharing them. Have been there several times and never order the same thing. Their menu is really good. Wet burrito was freaking awesome. Wish I lived closer.

Great food. Home cooked roast beef splits and lots of other dinners like grandma used to make. Lots of salad choices.
Lots of ice cream flavors. A mile long menu.
Sure sometimes they are super busy and u may have to wait a few but well worth it..
But for a small town local owned diner. It's the best place to eat for miles n miles. 🍄🍔🍟

Love the Jackson county veal there. I believe they call it the Viking veal or something. Great selection of ice cream and shakes also. Don't live down there anymore but I always stop in when I'm down that way! Good staff as well.

Greasy fair-style food at its best. Huge selection of shakes and similar ice cream treats, sandwiches and calories. I recommend the onion Rings in sizes from modest to monumental. This place has survived all local competition, and stands alone in our tiny little burg with one traffic light downtown, and two construction lights temporily placed conveniently next to the Main Eatery's parking lot for the rest of summer of 2021. The milk shakes should be illegal, as they're too think to drink through a straw. Stop here soon, as it's for sale and it's unlikely that new owners can keep up with present owner's standards. No indoor seating due to covid; window service only, with a small covered deck with picnic tables.

Wonderful place to eat all around. My wife and I eat here atleast 3 times a month. Tons and tons of options and haven't tried anything I haven't liked. Lots of shake flavors as well.

This place has really good ice cream, iced coffee, and milkshakes! My boyfriend's family and I stopped here to get a snack after swimming at a lake nearby. I tried a couple of different things on the menu and all were delicious. I recommend this place if you're in the area! :)

This place is a truly road trip type of place. Its right on the highway and I made a u turn to get back to the smells of some freshy cooked food. I ordered a texas tenderloin, a large order of oyn rings and a large "suprize" milkshake. Turns out that the milkshake was a strawberry shortcake and boy does it taste just like a freshly made shortcake. The tenderlon was soo big that I had to save half of it later for dinner and the oyn rings are so good that the kings can't touch them.

Food was awesome. Burgers was outstanding. Fresh cut fries. Was so darn good. Friendly service.

First time in McArthur. Stopped for lunch and glad we did! Great service! Great friend mushrooms, fried green tomatoes and ice cream was the best ever said my son! Portion size was more than we could consume! If ever in McArthur again, this place will be first stop!

Well the Vinton county veals were hard cooked to long. Other food was good.

I love this place. Great food and a bunch to choose from and you definitely get what you pay for. Their milkshakes are delicious also and a bunch of flavors to choose from with those too.

My husband used to take daily it one. Something we loved doing together. He tried many different ice creams and sundaes they were delicious. The best part was being together.
