I had the SX-One MicroKnife - invasive Carpal Tunnel Release procedure on my left hand by Dr. Mark Shoreman, MD. Dr. Shoreman was very professional and the procedure went well. By a week after my procedure I can totally use my left hand with no pain. I highly recommend this procedure with Dr. Shoreman if you are experiencing Carpal Tunnel issues.

Right hand done in Oct , left hand done a month later, no problems or pain, recovery was about 2 days each hand, highly recommend Dr. Shoreman and the Micro-knife.

Dr. Shoreman is awesome! He treats every patient with the care and compassion that they need. He is very responsive to my questions and has excellent technical abilities. I have always enjoyed my visits with him, he is the best!

I recently had Carpal Tunnel repair at Dr. Showerman's office. After a HORRIBLE experience at another regional hospital with a surgeon a friend recommended Dr. Shoreman. He is very thorough and walked me through the procedure, answered all my questions, and then performed the procedure. IT WAS AWESOME! Minimal to no pain, quick healing, and my hand is good as new. I have had carpet tunnel for years and it continued to worsen to where my daily activities were difficult to perform. This affected my quality of life. I had resisted getting treatment because I knew the surgery was not going to be pleasant. I eventually spoke with my doctor and he told me about a new procedure called ultrasound guided carpal tunnel treatment. He referred me to Dr. Mark Shoreman. In addition to being inpressed with Dr. Mark, the procedure soinded so innovative and far less drastic than the routine treatment. I elected to move forward and what a great decision that was. It was amazing! There was no pain and recovery was so quick. In two days my hand felt so much better and I was able to perform tasks I had difficulty performing before. After six days I was back doing everyday tasks without thinning about my hand. It truly is amazing that this procedure gave me my hand back so quickly. So happy that I had this done. I can move on with my life.. Dr. Mark is excellent, he explained everything so well, and was so reassuring. I am grateful to him for embracing this new procedure.

I was diagnosed with a carpal Tunnel
syndrome about 7-8 years ago and suffered severe Carpal Tunnel pain the last 2 years. I was also wearing braces on both my wrists at night while sleeping.
The Carpal Tunnel Release surgery I had on both wrists on the same day eliminated most of these symptoms. I noticed the effects almost immediately after surgery. Within the first three days I was able to navigate and use my hands in ways that was very painful before surgery, such as: opening doors, prescription drug bottles and grasping and holding onto objects, etc. Within a week of surgery 90% of the numbness and tingling in my hands has gone away. Although I still need to build my strength back, I am back to doing things that caused pain or I was unable to perform before the surgery.
As of today, 9 days after surgery I am very pleased with the results and feel that I made the right choice for me in having this surgery.

I had been having elbow issues for the past year. Nothing seemed to help. I had steroid shots that did not help at all. I was diagnosed with Tendinosis. I was recommended by my Orthopedic PA to see Dr. Shoreman. He recommended Platelet Rich Plasma over surgery. I am so glad I did. My daughter was suffering from knee pain that was interfering with her ability to compete as an athlete. We had done our research and it appeared prolotherapy was a potentially viable option. Unfortunately, we could not find anyone in the Kansas City area who would consider it. We found Dr. Shoreman through friends in Ohio and decided to take the trip as a "destination procedure". I can't stress enough how happy we are with this decision!!! Dr. Mark Shoreman has a great sense of humor that made my daughter at ease and very comfortable. The procedure was relatively quick. Just a simple shot and we were in and out in under an hour. THE RELIEF WAS INSTANT for my daughter and she immediately had improved function in her knee! She QUICKLY transitioned from being bottom-of-the-pack to being one of the best players on both her basketball and lacrosse teams! The pain was no longer holding her back! Now only a few months later, we've already started several discussions about scholarships!!!

Incision was less than a centimeter long and was able to use my hand as soon as the numbing wore off (about 6 hours).

He's a great communicator, and explained the process of my treatment in a very detailed fashion before, during, and after its completion. He was nice to me

Not a people person. Rude. Not on my chart. Why? Charges 3% using credit card. Also no phone number on invoice and has a Cincinnati address with a PO box. I wound not refer him to anyone.
