Sandy Shore Motel

The room was clean and the king bed was comfortable. The only thing the room did not have that I needed was a blow dryer, and the girl at Check in ( Melissa ) was pleasant and helpful…not put out when I asked for one.

My boyfriend and I stayed a few days and it was nice, beach was a bit crowded but once evening approached the beach cleared out fast. The Mob Bar located directly on the beach was my favorite part! Loved the staff and the drinks were really good!

1st visit, short visit to Sandy shore but frequent flyer to Misquamicut beach.
This is a Motel style accommodations, as are all options in area but this motel is updated, modern, and ON the beach with a bar steps from your Clean, comfortable room. Party goers of all ages, as well as young families unite in Misquamicut. If you know you know. The front desk is staff by 2-3 very nice and helpful people, trying there best to clean and turnover rooms for a sold out hotel. As expected, they commit to a strict checkin/checkout policy. I only give 2 stars to set service expectations low because it’s a motel and they have limited staff wearing lots of hats. Can’t wait to plan our next trip! Thank you!

Right on the beach, bar on the beach, what can be better??? Staff is wonderful, hotel is clean and refreshing (no must smell like some places by the water), just a great place. Many small maintenance type issues, sloppy painting, ac units pulled out of the wall needs covering, bathroom door kept getting stuck shut from paint job, nothing major that would stop you from staying there. The location, walk right out onto the beach is the main thing that brings us back. Went there a lot as a child when it was a family place, now its more of a party hotel in the summer and a relaxing place in the off season.

The room was beautiful. Beds were very comfy. Love having a full size stove & fridge in the room. The view was amazing in the evening & morning of the sun from the 2nd floor deck & from the beach bar🍷 of course.

We take a girls trip and stay here every year for a long weekend. It's nice to have a private beach because only people staying there are allowed and the lifeguards do their best to keep it residents only. We stayed the last two times in the two bedroom. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It's nice to have the space and full kitchen. The only downside is the shower is small, but we can live with that. Bathroom was very dark and could have used a brighter bulb and there were no mirrors in the rooms. Last year one room had a full size mirror, so I asked at the front desk if they had an extra and they were very understanding about four of us trying to get ready at the same time and they were able to locate another mirror for us. Staff are very nice. We look forward to next year!

My wife and I stayed there last week. From the time we checked in, until the time we checked out... the room was clean and the staff were great. One staff in particular, Rob...never stopped working hard, from early morning to night, one of the hardest workers we have ever seen. Everyone was very laid back, the outside bar is great and our room had a great view of the ocean. We will definitely go back there again!

We are planning on staying there in 2 weeks for our honeymoon. I have called and spoke to Jessica on a few different occasions. She is amazing. She is very polite and answers my questions that I have without feeling rushed or she needs to go. Very attentive. Can't wait to stay there!!!

I drove out to the ocean for the first time in 20 years I loved it and as I was about to get back my car to drive back home I meant a true American Indian I said hello and he was very kind I loved his jacket he said he was looking for a Sunset and I says well good luck finding a sunset today it's a cloudy day and we both left or I should say I left and he said yeah that's the problem there's too many cloudy days in the world today so I'm in search of a sun set I thought it was rather nice way of putting things in trouble times God Bless America and God bless the world🙏

We have been coming Sandy Shore for years and they are the best motel on the beach. Stephanie is the best bartender around. She is always looking out for her guests. Private beach,private parking with a BAR on the beach. The owner Gene is always around to make sure the guests are enjoying themselves. The rooms are all oceanfront and clean. Stephanie is the BEST!!!

Me and my daughter her husband and my 2 grandsons stayed here in November of 2016. I believe it was the last weekend they were open. We were 1 of the 2 rooms rented for the night. The lady that checked us in was very nice and we loved the room! It was decorated very cute and she said she had done the decorating. I have never stayed right on the beach before but we loved it here! Was hoping to stay for spring fest but price just to high and can't stay 2 nights. Hope we can find a place as nice.

Great location, great veiw, great service!!! If you're looking for a luxury hotel this may not for you but the rooms are still very nice. I rented the apt room and it is very spacious. Fit two adults and 3 kids comfortably with lots of room. Wish they had more hooks to hang towels/bathing suits though all they have is one small towel rack in the bathroom. Overall had a great time, the bar on the beach and the veiw from the hotel is amazing!! We definitely will be coming again!

Steph, Jessica and Jackie were amazing. Went above and beyond to make our stay phenomenal. Great spot right on the beach . Met some amazing people. Definitely will be back. Thank you Lori the birthday gal😘

Don’t expect a 5 star hotel and you will love it. It is a beach motel. The girls at the bar were amazing especially Ashley A. Fantastic service and great drinks! And it’s all directly on the beach. They made our stay awesome! Thank you for making our stay great!

Our stay here was great all staff at Ginos By The Beach Resturant, where so welcoming and thumbs up to the chef the food was amazing !! The motel room was very comfy and the beach bar, all staff freindly and so much fun .the whole time their was great Thank you all they go out of their way to make your stay the best !

Great Place to Visit .. I love waking up and walking right out onto the beach .. Me, my daughter and son have come to do this every July and the New Bar on the Beach is awesome !! Sandy Shore is simply .. very Simple. Come, Check in and enjoy the beach, waves and view .. The Most Bang for the Buck !

We have been here a few times over the years and each time had great time. Last year was fantastic and returning this Memorial Day weekend. Friendly staff..clean rooms...excellent service. Love It!!

Room was nice and clean, but the big draw is the private beach. Walk out of your room, down the stairs, and onto the sand. Also walking distance to several restaurants.

They renovated the rooms since the last time we went and they look beautiful! I can't wait to go back when it's warmer so we can enjoy the private beach and bar!
