Italian Corner

If you haven’t stopped into the Italian Corner, make a point of it! We were only 8 minutes from our hotel but after getting FOUR sandwiches for the 2 of us on Sunday 4/7; I’d drive farther!! This place was featured on Diners, Drive-In’s and Dive’s and I can see why it was recommended for the show. The team that works here is hardworking and incredibly helpful. I’d like to bottle up their kindness and spread it around. Good Job Team!! The owner – a pure delight!! We did eat one there, as recommended to not wait; good night, it was off the chart, de-li-cious! The Mortadella on Focaccia (#1), I think we need to go back to get a few for the plane ride home. The focaccia is crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The Mortadella is some of the best I have had. Major flavor and balance throughout. Monday, we ate one on the way to our next adventure – the Brasato (#25) (which was featured on triple D) and the owner’s go to when he’s hungry. Instead of using the salsa verde dressing it’s the salsa rossa dressing which is the verde plus sundried tomato’s and I can see why people as for that substitution on other sandwiches. Pares beautifully with the beef, fresh lettuce and house made sub buns. My only question, why did we get the small (ha). The (#16), Combo, is a beautiful blend of Ham, Salami, Capicola hot (but not too hot) provolone, fresh lettuce, and tomato. The provolone is not too overpowering. Our least fav, can we say least fav if we ate the whole thing? Lol. Still incredible was the Bresaola (#19), Cured beef tenderloin, truffle oil, arugula, shaved parmigiano. The food is amazing. I always stop in when I am in East Providence. I love my combination sandwich with everything on it. The best grinder I have ever had. I have introduced others to this place and nobody has been disappointed. Not a fancy place but, I am just coming for an amazing sandwich every time.

My buddy and I went and split a large turkey sandwich, two bags of chips and two sodas and the total came to $19.45!!

You can't get out of Subway for under $20.

I can not count the times I have been here for lunch, We did have my parents 62 wedding anniversary dinner in the function room, it was perfect, simple, and great food. But back to lunch, You a never go wrong with a sandwich, or a pre made meal ready to go.
The deli is big enough to accommodate the troves of people waiting or ordering their lunch.
I have had many sandwiches on the menu, and every single one have had quality ingredients, home made rolls, made inhouse dressings that make the sandwich out of this world.
The prices are fair and reasonable, and the food is better than any "Italian restaurant". You can sit in the deli and have lunch, with a wall of imported grocery items, drink selections and a freezer with fresh homemade pastas to take home. Ive had the wine biscuits and they don't disappoint.
if its a good Italian sub, or a fresh Italian dish to have for supper, give The Italian Corner a try, you'll come back for more, I do.

It's simple high quality delicious legit Italian delicatessen. I got the hot sopresatta. It's was mouth wateringly amazing. You won't find much better around these parts. I'd put it up against anything on "the hill"

Great place for Italian foods. We buy our olive oil here and always get the combo Italian grinder for lunch. The bread is baked onsite and cold cuts are sliced fresh and the house dressing is fantastic. For more than 40 years I swore by a local grinder shop in my home town as being the best until I tried sandwiches from Italian Corner. I have not been back to my home town shop since.

Italian Corner is the single greatest Italian deli I have ever been to and will likely ever be to. The meats are delicious, the bread is uncontestable, the portions perfect.

I worked in East Providence for a while and when I moved for me new job, it broke my heart in a way, like moving away from a dear friend you'd now only get to see once or twice a year instead of weekly. Truly the best sandwiches you can get.

Cozy establishment with two halves; first is a eat-in delicatessen, and second is an event space with food catered by the Italian Corner. The food was delicious and affordable. Clean facilities all around, including the bathroom. Parking in wrap-around lot, or across the street. In April 2022 the Libertarian Party of Rhode Island convened at this location.

Flavortown with some pesto pasta and a yacht club. Hard to do better anywhere else around town. Great holiday baskets for all your boomer family members.

Ps:San Daniele ham is from Friuli Venezia Giulia not from Trentino like is wrote on menù

One of my all time favorite stops when I’m out and about. Their grilled focaccia mortadella is insane. And Italian combo can’t be beat!

Whenever I travel I look for the spots that Huy has shown on TripleD. This place did not disappoint. We ordered the Combination, the Soprano, fudge cookies and some burrata & prosciutto for the road. Everything was awesome!!

I have been coming here for years. I left EP 10 years ago and still make the hour drive just to get a #16. Best sandwiches around!

Today, the staff at Italian Corner sent over a platter of their delicious sandwiches to our staff at Healy Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine (East Providence) on behalf of someone who recently received PT treatment at our clinic and left with a positive outcome! The food is always delicious and we're happy to essentially be neighbors with this awesome local business.

My grinder was packed with savory meats, crisp tomatoes, and an amazing house dressing that brought everything together. Each bite was a burst of flavor.

They have a special sauce that they use on their sandwiches that is unlike any other place. I travel from far just for their sauce. They have authentic desserts. Italian sides. This place is an authentic little Italy.
