The food was absolutely delicious. We were looking for a great breakfast and we were not disappointed. The cooked goose breakfast sandwich was out of this world. The pancakes were huge and fluffy and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The biscuits and gravy with the house made chicken sausage was phenomenal. My husband highly recommends the Mexican style homefries. Melissa is the best waitress ever and they should give her a raise. The service was impeccable. We left with happy full bellies and big smiles on our faces.

10 stars!! I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. It was amazing watching how this entire crew handled the influx of guests coming in. The food was superb. My family and I tried other places in the area, but nothing we tried compared. We ate here at least 4 out of the 5 days we were vacationing in the area. As I ate the yummy-ness placed in front of me. I watched every staff member work in harmony- truly a beautiful symphony. Bravo!!!!!

They were packed when we arrived, so we had to wait, but the food was worth it! Perfect benedicts, and a wide variety of desserts (we split a smores bar and it was divine). Service was friendly and attentive.

Great experience! Best crab cake sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Burger perfectly cooked. Fresh rolls. Thick cut crispy fries. Super service by Melissa. Place is lively without being noisy. Cute decor. Very clean.

Delicious breakfast! Lots of seating, but we went on Saturday, so it was crowded and waited for 25mins.
There are outdoor seating so we were able to bring our dog.
Friendly staff! Super clean washrooms

Eating breakfast at The Cooked Goose. We heard that Taylor Swift loves it here. It's not far from her house on the beach. Landon ordered the Breakfast Goose. He loves it.

Our server talked to us about Taylor, and she met her and got a photo. She showed it to us. Last month, her dad came in and handed out guitar picks to every customer. She told us that Mr. Swift always sits at the table near us by the fireplace.

Landon gave our server a Taylor rock we made.

This is the sweetest little place. I can't wait to come back.

The Cooked Goose has a nice brunch menu and also a deli counter for food to go. We arrived about 10:30 for Sunday brunch.
Several folks were waiting to be seated and our wait was about 10 minutes.
We wanted a Bloody Mary but they only had mimosas on the menu so we ordered them instead. For brunch we had biscuit and chicken sausage gravy with two eggs, breakfast tartine, and an omelette with rye toast. All came with home fries. The biscuits were grilled and had a nice outer crunch. The omelette was stuffed with goat cheese, spinach and sausage, it was delicious. The tartine was unusual but tasty, it consisted of Country wheat toast with 2 poached eggs, goat cheese, avocado, arugula, & tomato.
We'll be back to try their lunch menu.

My partner and I took a small trip to Westerly for Memorial Day. The place we were staying was kind enough to provide us with gift cards for the restaurant and we liked it so much we flocked to the goose even when the cards were well gone!

I was caught off guard by their latte's. I'm a big coffee lover and fairly picky. The hazelnut latte was phenomenal. Huge and robust flavor. Great hazelnut flavor without being too sweet, and the perfect amount of foam on top. We each ordered a new meal each day and ordered their cinnamon roll pancakes to share the final day just so we wouldn't miss out! We loved almost everything we got with just a few caveats.

By far out favorite meal was "The Breakfast Goose" sandwich. It was flavorful, tasty, and HUGE. I was worried their homemade sausage would be a bit chewy or dry because it was made from chicken, but I was WRONG it was juicy, tender, and packed full of flavor. My second favorite dish was the porchetta & egg sandwich. The porchetta was robustly flavored and cut super thinly, it just was a tad less tender than I would have liked. My partners second favorite was the vanilla almond french toast.

The service was good. Every day someone from management would ask how the meal was.

Suggestions / dislikes - My complaints aren't that major. All in all we loved the place. Loved the HONK HONK of it all. We would just choose to order some things instead of others in the future.

The breakfast club was a miss. It was just a little too messy and the flavors didn't go together too well. Something about shredded lettuce and hot eggs didn't sit right for me.

The home fries weren't very good. They seemed to be just boiled red potatoes that were very lightly seasoned. They weren't crisp in the slightest. Not a huge deal because the portions were so big.

The hot chocolate wasn't great. It tasted like Swiss Miss made with water.

Move your specials board! It's tucked around the corner. We didn't even know it was there until the last day we visited.... after we ordered!

I love this place, Andrew (Owner) takes care of the kitchen and Jen (Owner) takes very good care of the front of the House. Whether it is breakfast or lunch it will be made with a great deal of care and served to you with a smile from the most capable waitstaff.

New England coast hit with heavy rain and high winds, perfect day for a road trip to check it out. after spending a few hours inWesterly RI. taking pictures , soaked to the bone took a break for something to eat. We stopped at the only place open, The Cooked Goose. Immediately greeted with warm and friendly hello, seated and first thing I noticed was the fireplace, drew me like a moth to light warmed my bones and then we ordered. Now let me stay right off, the best lobster roll ever is in NH @ the Beach Plum restaurant on RTE1. So with that being said my opinion is biased. We both saw the lobster roll on the well balanced menu and thought , why not give it a shot. Glad we did, it was very good, and priced reasonably, not too much mayo and a nice amount of lobster meat. As we were eating I believe the owner was walking the floor and stopped to ask if everything was OK, that was nice. This stop was well worth our time, will return soon. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect.

Loved the food!! I was so happy they had gluten-free bread. The omelet was cooked to perfection, and it had plenty of toppings. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich and home fries. We'll definitely be back!

Listen ! I got the breakfast club 🥺. This might be the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. The servers and managers were attentive and I had a lovely breakfast experience. I would recommend. I almost didn’t want to eat the other half to save it for later. I just couldn’t 😋

To start, every employee my family and I encountered at this restaurant was incredible. My grandma is handicapped and has a hard time walking with her walker and the staff went out of their way to ensure her comfort. The two hostess’ we encountered were so sweet and made sure we were comfortable, however I have to highlight our waitress, Melissa O. Not only was she personable but she went above and beyond in every category. She was sweet and kind to my grandma and also made sure my mother got a sweet treat for her birthday. The food is incredible, atmosphere is quaint; but the employees are what make it stand out. We had the best experience and I cannot thank Melissa and the others enough. Thank you!

Drove 6 hours to get here, and would do it all over again just for the lemon sugar cookies!!!
Of course, the service was amazing, everyone was friendly and took time for us even when it was super busy, and the breakfast was wonderful! But those cookies- wow!

Best breakfast place I've been to in a while! The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and clearly have sampled most of the food because they gave great recommendations. We did have to wait 15 minutes to be seated, but then the food came out in literally 5 minutes so it evened out. The food is a great mix of the standard breakfast options and some fun and interesting things....like their menu of unique eggs Benedicts! I highly recommend the cooked goose, it's a great little place! I'm going back tomorrow lol
