I cannot thank Keane's enough for catering our event on Sunday, 4/28. The food was fabulous! The communication between them and I was fantastic and very very easy....from ordering, changing my order, paying for the event, right down to the delivery. I also received compliment after compliment while folks were eating.
I will definitely use Keane's again and you should too!

We used Keane’s Express Catering for a birthday party over the weekend. They were so nice and easy to work with leading up to the event, they delivered and set up exactly on time and the food was outstanding. Everyone at the party was asking where the BBQ was from and talking about how good it was. Highly recommend!

Keane's was one of the best choices that we made for our wedding day. Working with Kym was exceptional. She was responsive, professional, calm, and so positive. She made us feel great. Kym walked us through our options, ways we could customize our day, and had suggestions to resolve every concern or update we thought of. On the day the team was so great at setup, service, and breakdown. We really appreciated that Keane's could come onto site with their own wood-fired ovens, as our venue did not have a kitchen. Our guests raved about the food (including the apps, the deviled eggs and bluefish in particular) and so many came back up for seconds. I wish we had more photos! Our families had concerns about doing barbeque because it was not "traditional", and a buffet, but they are all converts now. It was elegant, fun, and everyone appreciated having such a wide selection to choose from. Keane's was also exceptional about allergies. We had guests with Celiac disease, multiple types of allergies, dietary restrictions, etc., and they handled those with no problem. Everyone was able to enjoy fully. I also wanted to point out the level of service that Keane's gave us. Right after our ceremony Kym had a board of all of the appetizers, and our specialty cocktails brought to us. When we joined dinner our plates were ready and on our sweetheart table. The flip from dinner to serving cakes that we brought in was seamless, and even though they did not provide the rentals (plates, utensils, etc.) they still serviced the cleanup. We felt taken care of the whole day, and feel very grateful that we chose Keane's.

My family and I got food from Keanes this evening. We had brisket , chicken , broccoli salad , Mac and and cheese ( just to name a few of the many things we ordered )

When we got home and had it we couldn’t get over the flavors and taste of all the food. Unbelievable

This will definitely be one of are top spots for Friday night food.. Highly recommended and the staff are first class . friendly and very knowledgeable.

We hired Keane's to cater our outdoor wedding this past October. Simply put - I cannot recommend this business enough, and I truly cannot imagine what this event would have looked like without them. Our event coordinator, Kym, was the easiest person to talk to and plan with. Like so many brides, I had 0 experience with wedding planning prior to my own, so the task of putting everything together was daunting, to say the least. Working with Kym made me enjoy the process of putting the wedding together. No question was too silly or request too ridiculous. The weekend of the wedding, Kym and her team handled the entire event professionally, and despite the (horrible) weather, Keane's helped us put together the most fun and beautiful wedding I could have asked for. On top of that, our bartenders and crew were amazing, and the owners were easily available to answer any questions we had leading up to the big day. Honestly, Keane's, we can never thank you enough.

I'm in love with Keanes! During covid times we discovered this place for Friday dinner take out. The food is undeniably the best barbecue in Rhode Island! The brisket is so tender, pulled pork to die for, and the chicken sandwich will blow you away. The special blend of toppings, pickled vegetables add a perfect savory to sweet ratio on every sandwich. Mouth watering goodness in every bite. We have hired them for catering functions and our guests became life long customers. The communication and service is the most professional in the business. You won't be disappointed.

We would give Keane's 20/5 stars if possible. What sums it up the most is that they are just pros. Kym was amazing with everything leading up to the day, and then the day of - everything was perfect! They just handled everything with such professionalism and kindness. They are all-stars. Besides the logistics, no exaggeration, most of our guests commented first and foremost about how good the food was - more than anything else about the wedding. I can not recommend them enough- they were an integral part of our day and we are so grateful!

I enjoyed my self greatly at a wedding last night. The brisket was fantastic, the Mac and cheese required a 2nd trip as well as the stuffed jalapeño peppers for apps. I sincerely wish I had taken some home as this is all we have been talking about today. Great job and thank you!!

If there were more stars Boru would get them from us. We needed a caterer for our wedding that was just a few months out from when we booked them and Padraic came through spectacularly. He was thorough, thoughtful, and in constant communication from the beginning until the end.

The food was out of this world, and the service might have been better.

Not only did Padraic come for an initial site visit on his own time but he also personally showed up the night before our wedding to smoke the pig and was there all night working. He stayed through the next night to oversee, serve, and downright dazzle our guests with this absolutely beautiful spread of delicious food. All the little details: the serving platters and bowls, the plating, the silverware. Our friends couldn’t help but take pictures of how nicely it all was presented.

The cornbread needs its own review, it was that good. We had people call the next day asking who had made everything because they couldn’t stop thinking about it!

To top it off, he was like an angel pork fairy who leaves leftovers both warming in the oven ready for the late night crowd after he left, and in the fridge to be enjoyed all week. He even came back the next morning to collect what people were still using and check in to see how everything went.

As if Padraic wasn’t enough, his staff was top notch. Every single person serving instantly felt like a friend. Especially Mary, who sought me out to make sure I ate, and if you’ve had a wedding you know how important that is.

I don’t know how else to say that if you have the chance to book Boru BBQ for your event, no matter what it is, DO IT. You will not regret it. It is literally, the best money I’ve ever spent. I wish we could do it all over again, we loved them.

We used Keane’s for our backyard wedding and couldn’t have been happier! The food was delicious and their service was efficient, flexible and friendly. Highly recommended.

Ordered take out (Friday’s only) and bought the pulled pork sandwich with the creamy potato salad. This was the absolute BEST pulled pork and potato salad I’ve ever had in the North! The pulled pork was so great and that’s because it was wood fired/smoked. You usually only get this in the south. This sandwich is not slathered with BBQ sauce and doesn’t need to be because of the wonderfully smoked taste that is slowly immersed in the meat. I encourage you to try it and I will be a repeat customer!

The Keane’s team is a dream! We were lucky to work with them for our food and bar for our June Wedding and everything was beyond delicious! Weeks later we are still getting texts from guests about “the best brisket they’ve ever tasted”. It was definitely the star of the show. From menu planning with Kym to day of service by the entire team, everything was absolutely perfect and stress free and we really couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you Keanes!!!

We had catering for our recent party. The meats were all fantastic. The brisket just fell apart it was so tender, the thighs were juicy and the pulled pork delicious. Salads were all really good, but also quite rich, my advice would be to augment with something fresh. The service was great. The setup that they give you is great. Really happy. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Most successful family BBQ ever and all thanks Padraic at Boru! Had his food for the first time at a catered event 6 months ago and couldn't wait to have his Brisket, Corn Bread, Pickles (frankly everything he makes) for our next family gathering. Padraic was extremely diligent with helping us make the day a super success and taught me how to cut the brisket. Can't wait to hire him again!

Keane's is an amazing wedding caterer. From planning in advance with Kym to working with Mary, Amber, and Thea day-of, everyone on the team is a total pro and genuinely nice human. Keane’s served up a delicious and piping hot dinner despite working outside under a tent in the rain. Our guests raved about the food and bar drinks and how kind everyone was. Also want to note that although Keane’s appears to make beautiful BBQ’d meat, we were a vegetarian/pescatarian wedding—and they did an amazing job with the menu. So happy to have had Keane’s as part of our wedding day! Look forward to working with them again for other parties.

All of our guest at our surprised wedding loved all of the BBQ food. The brisket and Mac and cheese were the star of the buffet. I truly appreciate how accommodating Keane’s was to my guest food allergies. They labeled each menu item to let our guest know which items were free of their allergens. We discovered Keane's while looking for a less-traditional vendor to fit our dream of a "tacos and margaritas" theme. Keane's both fit our budget and threw us the wedding of a lifetime, even going out of their way to accommodate a winter holiday wedding. Our guests loved the brisket and raved about the cocktails. Kym helped stay us on top of everything and was very professional. Cannot recommend enough. We kept coming back for Friday night take out to "taste test" and will be back again in the future!
