The Andrea Seaside Restaurant and Beach Bar

My man Thomas Lavoie surprised me with a random date night at The Andrea Misquamicut Beach! One of our favorite summertime destinations, the place was hopping when we got there with a band, beach party that Gidget would approve of, and a 40 minute wait that we spent on an adirondack bench with a pitcher of spiked punch and the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Our dinner was a classic order (not sure if we've ever strayed from it) an andrea house salad, fried calmari, and the best mussels ever - simmered in garlic, butter, wine and magic. TJ and I are team sharing is caring when we dine out, and have found that some of the best food lives in the appetizer section of a menu.

The hazy orange sun turned into an eerie orange moon, an effect caused by the wild fires in the west.

We visited Misquamicut Beach years before ever checking out The Andrea. If you haven't yet, put it on your to-do list!

Excellent food. Restaurant is right on the beach and the service is excellent. A friend recommended this place to me and I’m glad he did. I will definitely be back!

29 years ago this was a hotel on the ocean, but hurricane Sandy took it out...all but the stone chimney which still stands surrounded by a beach bar/restaurant. We stayed in the hotel on our wedding night 29 years ago and went for our lunch on our anniversary this year. Great drinks, great service, BEST view. I wasn't thrilled with the lobster salad...it was the consistency of tuna and I was expecting something different, so I switched with hubby and loved his crispy fish sandwich. They brought us drunken gummies when they heard it was our anniversary 🥰 Ended with an October walk on the beach...perfect day!

This is a seaside restaurant that's only sbout 75 yards up the beach from the Pleasantview Inn. It's a stand alone building/kitchen with a large attached industrial white tent used for seating and dining purposes. The Atlantic Ocean and the sound of the surf is a beautiful backdrop to enjoy a very diverse menu. Everything, from seafood to steaks. Their salads are fresh and quite delicious as well. In the evenings they're usually playing some background music to mute the sounds of multiple tables laughing, talking and having a great time. The table service was very good, and our waiter did an awesome job taking care of our very large family froup of eighteen. The tent is set up so sections can be open or closed for comfort if needed. **Don't forget to ask for the do it yourself smores platter. You won't be disappointed, especially if you have children in your party.
NOTE: I gave the food 4 stars because my scallop platter was COLD. I was with a very large group of family members who were going out, and I didn't want to hold everyone up waiting for my food to be warned up.
I gave the restaurant 5 stars because it was well deserved.

This is a great restaurant on the Misquamicut beach. You can reserve($50) a spot on their private beach. Where the servers will bring you drinks and food On the beach. The food is good the service was great. The atmosphere is on point that's why it's a 5 star. I'm going to start looking at motels on the beach to spend a weekend their... I will be seeing more of this place for the 2023. Since the summer is almost over. There's also parking across the street that belongs to Andrea's.

Very nice ambiance just a few feet from the edge of the waves, lots of outdoor seating (no wait even on Labor Day Sunday) and reasonable prices. We had the lobster roll ($30) and the fish sandwich ($15) each with Coleslaw. Jean had the scallops and he said they were awesome

The food here was just absolutely delicious. We started with the tuna nachos, which were a great sharing dish. Light, crispy tostada style chips topped with tuna, picked onions, wasabi mayo and cocktail sauce. I could've happily ate that as my meal.

For our mains we got the fish and chips to share and the calamari. Both were crispy, fried just right and super flavorful. They fry the red peppers in with the calamari here, and we love that! The fish didn't even need tartar sauce, I enjoyed it with just the squeeze of lemon.

After our meal we went for a walk along the beach. They have buckets you can take to pick up any beach trash you find, so we did that - managed to almost fill a bucket! Would've liked maybe a grabber tool because I didn't want to grab the cigarette butts with my hands, but we still grabbed the big stuff.

Beautiful views of the ocean, friendly staff, parking for your car and good food. 10/10 for us!

29 years ago my wife and I honeymooned at The Andrea. October 1st this year we returned to the shoreline to rekindle, by the fireplace that has remained, our marriage and those fond memories of yesteryear. The beautiful ocean, delicious food and thoughtful service made the day extra special for me and the Mrs.

Fantastic, delicious food; wonderful, friendly service; and an absolutely incredible view. We had a terrific evening and it was super easy to book a table. Thank you all for a great time!

Love it, love it, love it! Been there a few times and it was always a great experience. Never had to wait for too long ( the place is busy even in the weekdays ), the menu is pretty good and..... the VIEW! You can sip your cocktail and enjoy watching the ocean waves, it's the best! Oh, they have a big fireplace too.

It was fantastic! Food was great. Ambiance was amazing. Right on the ocean, fire place on the deck, staff was great! Table side S'mores were FUN! Definitely recommend 👍

Ordered the fish sandwich and a cup of chowda. Everything was great, beer was cold. Service was slow, but I wasn't in a rush so it was perfect. the view of the beach is def worth the tourist pricing

I went to this incredible seaside restaurant with my husband, Barry, for our 30th wedding anniversary. I just love that man, he spoils me with these nice restaurants! When we got there, the hosts were so nice and welcoming. They gave us such a nice table, it was outside by the railing behind the fireplace. Best seat in the house!! But enough about the view. Let’s talk about the food! For an appetizer, we ate the pulled pork nachos. They were sooo good, but Barry hogged the whole plate! It’s okay, the liquor was flowing, so it didn’t matter much to me! For drinks, I had a beachcomer and Barry had a strong with juice. Alcohol and the beach, what else could a woman ask for? For an entrée, I had the lobster mac and cheese. Barry had the steak, which he said he really liked the garlic. With such large portions, we were stuffed! We had a wonderful time, we will definitely be coming back! Compliments to the chef, thanks for making our anniversary the best ever! We will definitely be back for our 40th anniversary! (Hopefully we make it with this nacho stealer 🤣)

The Andrea is one, if not, the best restaurant I visited. Their menu is pretty short but their food is amazing as well as their drinks! The setting is beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating. The place is right on the beach and the view is amazing. Andreas’s lobster roll is a must try! As well as their stuffed clams! I was there for memorial weekend and Will definitely go back when the weather gets warmer.

Excellent food and views. Service was quick and attentive. The fish and chips were massive, and they had a good selection of local beers.

Sunset was where nature put on its show in all of its splendor.

We had a great afternoon dining here! The service provided by Celia was top notch! Excellent, attentive and sociable when time allowed! The food was very good! Calamari as an appetizer, warm lobster roll and shrimp tacos as main course were all delicious!!! We shared a pitcher of white sangria! We will definitely be going again! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing food, right along the beach. Really busy place and the servers were working hard.

This place is right on the beach with tons of tables having a perfect view. The food is very tasty, and our server Vlad was great! I would definitely go again. Also the asiago sauce served with the Philly cheese steak egg rolls is AMAZING

Had a really great lunch date here. Staff was super friendly and it was exactly what you'd expect for a restaurant on the beach. Super comfortable, strong drinks, and set up to fit the weather. It was overcast when we visited. Would definitely go back.
