This restaurant has been in business for many years and I know why? The quality of sushi and food are always excellent and fresh. The owners work there and it truly feels like a family owned restaurant.

I first went here in 1991, 30 years ago. The very fact that this restaurant is still in business is a testament to their good work. That quality continues today. My wife and I both enjoyed a nice evening together here. The service and food were both excellent.

The sushi was great! Blue crab hand roll was my favorite! The waiter was by himself and he is so kind even though he was by himself. I can't wait to go back and try other rolls!

The best sushi around! It may not look like much from the outside but this is some of the best cut and freshest fish. We go so much we created our own roll, Bobby hand roll and the Chris Sushi. There is usually a large lunch crowd but it's worth the wait.

Really great food and atmosphere! This restaurant has some really great sushi for really great prices. Drinks are also reasonably priced. The parking lot is shared with a few other storefronts, but the Wardlow has plenting of street parking. Also, Don't let the outside fool you, the place is bigger than it looks like from the outside.

Very artfully prepared, authentic sushi. Fresh, amazing...a great place for people who truly appreciate sushi. Don't let the outside of the building or the location throw you. I drove 3 hours to meet a friend here and it was well worth the drive. I am never disappointed with their Sushi presentations.

Do not let the location or ambiance fool you. This is a true sushi restaurant. The fish tastes fresh and the texture is fresh as well. The Japanese scallops are the best ever with a lemony touch to them. The smiling staff are always helpful. I was treated to lunch this time, so i do not know all the names of what I ate. I can tell you the salmon and yellowtail bellies were great as well.

This is my go-to sushi place, a neighborhood favorite. I've been eating here for more than 10 years and this place blows all other sushi places out of the water. It's more traditional and the sushi is phenomenal. Super fresh and served so well. I've never had a bad experience and I'll come back every time. Personal favs: yellowtail sushi w/ jalapeños, seared ono, Japanese scallops, Andy roll and shrimp boats.

Holy cow ... best sushi I've had outside of Tokyo, Osaka, and Seattle. The black mamba roll is not on the menu, but it was unbelievable! Everything was extremely fresh, amd super delicious. My non-sushi friend ordered steak teriyaki, and it was delicious as well. I will definitely be making regular stops here when I'm in that part of the country.

The food is delicious and the restaurant has an authentic feel to it. There are no windows and is dimly lit inside. There are rooms with traditional seating on the ground. The service is always great and quick during lunchtime.

I absolutely love this place. Their fish is always fresh, and the quality is just perfect. It's my go-to for local sushi and Japanese food.

A true hidden gem in LB!! Great sushi bar & friendly staff. Tables in the back are nice plus a traditional Japanese room with paper walls. Love the chente roll

this place has been here a while now. it gives you a very old japanese vibe. I enjoy going to the sushi bar with my boyfriend. Sushi is on the high price but I think it is Delicious 👌

This Japanese food restaurant is a hidden jem! It's unassuming outside appearance hides the delicious food they serve inside. Their fried calamari is to die for and the teriyaki beef melts in your mouth. Foodies won't go wrong ordering any of their rolls, sashimi, tempura or boat platters.

Excellent neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Sushi, tempura, noodles, teriyaki and other Japanese specialities. Wine, beer, and sake available. If you want sushi, make you veer left into the sushi bar area. Fish is fresh, expertly prepared and the 2 chefs are friendly. If you are not sure just ask for a 10-12 piece assortment. Parking lot is small but free.
