Perfect European Bakery in downtown Evergreen. Five star Pastry Chef and Wife, a few short steps above Baskin Robbins just across the street from the lake. Worth a visit, good prices, Chef can bake item for large parties if you call ahead. Wonderful baked treats fresh and ready after a stroll around the lake, or for unexpected guests. Best bakery in our mountain towns, close to Conifer and Evergreen.
I got a huge apple strudel, it fed so many, everyone was delighted! I should have gotten pictures, it went too fast! Many happy people!

My husband and I frequent this bakery for every birthday, anniversary or special occasion. The Strawberry Shortcake with buttercream frosting is hands down the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life. My husband always raves about how incredible the baker is there and how personal he is with the customers. This is the #1 place we recommend to everyone. It’s one of the few places in evergreen that is 20/10 excellent in service, quality, and consistency!

I am fortunate enough to live near this amazing bakery that maintains the dedication and flavor of days gone by. I have tried a variety of their products and I'm always impressed with how much detail goes into these handcrafted goods.

Everything I've ever had has been very fresh.I have tried their donuts and they're delicious, too delicious in fact! So I can't keep them around too much. The pastries, bread, cookies and chocolates I order here weekly are always delicious and fresh!

Definitely try this place if you have not yet. They have seating inside and in the nice weather, outside as well and there's parking in back if there's no street parking in front.

This bakery is literally the best in California. The cupcakes in everything inside is plain delicious everything melts in your mouth not only that their mocha mania cupcakes were literally my favorite pregnancy craving ever if I can give this bakery 10 stars, I will so all these weird people in the reviews do not know what they’re talking about when they get this place lower than three stars

I grew up on Dunkin Donuts. My kids, who are infinitely more spoiled than I was, are growing up on Alpine Pastries donuts. We are lucky to have a tasty local option for fresh pastries!

Chocolate rum balls are delicious!!! 😋. Had a gluten free cake make for my dads 80th and it was amazing!!! Best GF cake I have had, highly recommend!!!

Oh my gosh. This place has delicious cookies and treats. I don't typically eat donuts but I tried a glazed donut and it was sooo good. If I remember correctly, she said it was an 1870s recipe. My husband loved the palmiers and the biscotti is very good. Whenever I'm back in that area I will definitely go there!

Cookies and pastries were SO good! They also had fresh Challah bread and when I told them it was something my mom made as a kid and they gave us a small loaf fresh from the oven. Such awesome people that run the place!

We love Alpine Pastries’ delicious, fluffy donuts; definitely worth the calories! All the cookies we have had are fantastic, large variety. If you love chocolate cakes you have to order their Chocolate Paradise cake, so decadent and rich; this was our first cake from their bakery and will not be the last.

From the moment I took my first bite, I was smitten. The glazed doughnuts at Alpine are everything you love about a homemade pastry, without the mess at home. I loved how they were light as air, but as you bite through the sweet glaze, you get a surprise, chewy, dense center. It's the best of both worlds. So good! The grocery store doughnuts will never match up again. If you are looking for something special, and would love to support a local biz in Evergreen, drive right past the grocery stores and get your doughnuts at Alpine Pastries. <3

Must stop in Evergreen. Great for a little treat. Everything is super affordable, the husband and wife who run the shop are very friendly, and it's delicious! Try one of the German recipe donuts.

Best pastry shop I've been to in a long time. The German donut is to die for especially if you get there early enough and it's still warm. The ham and cheese croissant is delicious. Gotta get there early if you want 1 of everything and trust me you will.

My future son in law picked up my daughter Jiannas 21st birthday cake this afternoon and I just received pictures of it from him. It's a beautiful cake. I couldn't be happier with it! So happy I've now found a spot in Evergreen to order all of our special occasion sweets. Thank you for doing a fantastic job. I've also got to say that your customer service is 5 stars!
