Courtyard by Marriott Sedona

This is one of the nicest "Courtyards" we have ever visited. The location just outside of Sedona proper is good. We went in early March so not sure what traffic getting into town would be like in prime season. It's a gorgeous hotel. I especially liked the huge fireplace, sitting areas for happy hour. We highly recommend the hotel. AND by the way they also have EV charging stations in case you have an electric vehicle.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable, and service was great. What more can you ask for? The lobby area is beautiful and cozy with a 2-sided fireplace. There are firepits, a large heated pool, and also a viewing area with a good view of the red rocks. Food at the small restaurant was really good too. Would definitely recommend.

I can’t wait to visit again! The view here is breathtaking! I love the meditation/ yoga they do in the mornings also the gong in the evening. I was so excited to do it. We came back late from dinner so missed it but the staff was so nice that she brought it out so we can experience it. I found the staff to be kind and accommodating also the place was clean! My sisters and I had a fabulous time and definitely staying here again on our next visit.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Sedona and had a mixed experience. While the front desk manager, Rita, was extremely rude and unhelpful, the rest of the evening was quite pleasant.

Upon checking in, I had the unfortunate encounter with Rita, who seemed disinterested in providing any assistance. Her attitude was off-putting and did not create a welcoming atmosphere. It was disappointing to have such an unpleasant interaction with a front desk manager, as they are typically expected to be professional and accommodating.

However, once I got past the initial encounter, the rest of my stay was much more enjoyable. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I was impressed by the size of the room, as it provided ample space for relaxation and movement. The cleanliness was also commendable, as everything appeared to be spotless and well-organized.

One of the highlights of the hotel was the outdoor seating area. It was a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Sedona scenery. The bar staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent service throughout my visit.

Overall, my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Sedona had its ups and downs. While the front desk manager, Rita, left a negative impression with her rudeness, the rest of the evening was salvaged by the clean and spacious room and the pleasant outdoor seating area with friendly bar staff. I hope that the management addresses the issue with Rita’s behavior to ensure a more welcoming and accommodating experience for future guests.

This is a very nice hotel that has amazing views! It's also very close to everything Sedona. Staff was friendly and catered to our needs. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Idk what people are saying about the service here - we only had polite and friendly service during our stay. They were helpful, answered our questions without making us feel like a nuisance, and the vibes were just overall good. The grounds were clean, the pool is heated and open for use, and they have a beautiful lookout area on the third floor! The only issue we found was that the cups in the bathroom of our room had some weird clear flakey residue?? A little weird, but no issue. We just opted out of using them. Overall it was a great stay!

Great stay! Originally had a reservation at the Sky Rock but canceled due to all the bad reviews regarding the renovations going on there. So glad we made the change- this property is away from the chaos and traffic of uptown and near a ton of great hiking trails. The staff was great and Haylah the concierge couldn't have been more friendly and informative about the trails and places to eat. Rooms are typical Courtyard style - clean and plenty of room. Only negative is the $18 a day for parking, but I guess that's the norm these days.

Lobby was so cozy, and close to the bar for a glass of wine by the fire. The sunrise patio had an amazing view. Did not try the pool/hot tub, but looked clean and inviting. Room was spacious, friendly staff

We stayed 4 nights for a couple's getaway. We have stayed here before and knew what a great place this is but our expectations were exceeded. Cleanliness is so important to me and the room looked and smelled spotless. Bed was super comfortable, love that we had a mini fridge and a microwave. We used the pool and jacuzzi everday and neither were crowded. (one suggestion is maybe them adding ambient music). Our particular room had amazing views. We didn't know about the upper viewing deck or Meditation Points the last time we stayed here and wow...they were awesome for watching the sunset. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time I come to Sedona.

Absolutely, hands down, an amazing place to stay in the Red Rock area of Sedona! The views here are incredible! The staff is a delight (especially Daniella at the front desk).
Our king bed room was spacious, clean, the bed was more comfortable than ours at home, the shower was huge, and the furniture was in great shape.
There were a lot of people staying here while we spent the week. It was always quiet! No slamming doors, no noises from the hallway, no traffic noise. The rooms here are built like a rock!
Simply put, this is one of the best hotels I've stayed at.
One minor consideration is there is a lack of drawer space for unpacking. For some it may be a big deal. To me, it's something to easily solve given the space these rooms have. And the view out our window more than made up for it.
If you can, I would suggest requesting a second floor room facing the main road. Trust me! The view is incredible and you won't hear a sound from outside!
Something mentioned by others is the price to park and added facility fees. I agree that these are annoying added profit fees that detract greatly from the perceived value for your money. I think it would be fair to expect hotels to be more upfront with these added fees- my opinion is that they should be eliminated and included in the price of the room. I would double check what extra fees are required at any hotel you stay at as many of them are doing this.

Such a great experience! The hotel was clean and quiet. The pool had huge steps that were good for the baby to play on. The views from the viewing deck were phenomenal!

Excellence at an affordable price. This hotel is very clean and well maintained. Staff is super friendly and the views are amazing. There is a rooftop viewing deck on the 3rd floor that offers beautiful panoramic views of Red Rock. Will stay here again next trip to Sedona.

My family of 4 stayed here for 4th of July weekend! It’s a beautiful resort with breathtaking views all over! The stay was perfect and we will be back very soon. The food at the Bistro was surprisingly delicious! There isn’t one thing we didn’t enjoy! Book your stay now!

We enjoyed staying here. It's a joke that you have to pay $20/night for parking, but otherwise it's exactly what you would expect from a Courtyard by Marriott. The grounds are lovely with hiking trails close by. There's an accessible pool, hot tub, fire pit, sunrise/sunset viewing area complete with heat lamps.

We had beautiful views looking out onto a trail and had two rooms with a kitchenette which was great.

It's located outside of town so you will need to drive anywhere you want to go, this is not a walkable location except for the hiking trails out back.

Continental breakfast was lovely with sausage dishes, Pearl sugar waffles, egg soufflé, bagels, oatmeal bar, etc.

There are signs that sanitation of dishware is not regulated and to wash on your own for their kitchens. I wish there were some better quality glasses or glasses for children. My daughter bit the wine glass and it shattered in her mouth!!!

Daniela at the front desk was beyond amazing. Made a huge difference during my time there. She's a true asset to this hotel and it's the reason why I recommend it. Excellent job Daniella and you're awesome!

Courtyard turned out great for us. The room was fabulous and I had full control of the thermostat. They also have level 2 EV charging. Worked nicely.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the courtyard Sedona. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. We did have some rowdy guests in the room next door and the staff promptly took care of the situation. We also had a drink and some food at the bar and the service was very good. This hotel was a great option to be away from the busy downtown Sedona area. Overall a great experience.

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel itself is really nice. The lobby is beautiful. Each staff member was friendlier than the next. Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. The staff at the cafe were always smiling and one of them even sang your order back to you.(he Always made us laugh). The rooms were very clean. We were pleasantly surprised with the daily housekeeping. The pool was beautiful, towels always available and the hot tub was a bonus. We highly recommend this property.
