Absolutely the best 👌. I'm a group tour guide and after each Sedona scenic tour, I stop here to buy my clients the largest jaw dropping delicious chocolate drizzle maroon you ever saw & enjoy. Or the square shaped powder sugar covered lemon bar that melts in your mouth with burst of sweet lemon flavors. Yummy. I get a kick out of watching my clients take the 1st bite & yells: "oh my gosh this is soo good". This Cafe has many varieties of ice-cream flavors, storemade waffle cones, toppings, milk shakes, giant pies & pasteries, prickly pear lemonade, coffee and more. It's located perfectly in the Uptown Sedona shopping district nestled in the perfect spot where you can see 👀 snoopy rock while you enjoy your ice-cream. The store is family owned and operated, and everyone is super friendly & patient. If you are in the area stop here to get your treat you won't be disappointed. Causion: could have long lines in busy seasons so be patient. It's worth the wait.

Had an absolutely wonderful affogato here!! You can taste the care and love they put into their ice cream and espresso. Everything is home made high quality and you won't regret coming here! Even on a chilly December day it was so enjoyable. The barista who took my order was very kind, helpful, and accommodating as well.

Delicious ice cream - prices are totally fine; we paid about $25 for (in total) 6 big scoops & an (sadly very bitter-tasting..) Iced Tea! Lots of different flavors to choose from.

Had the Strawberry and Prickly Pear ice cream, and loved them both! The prickly pear was unique, but it was fantastic! And their pies looked awesome too. Definitely need to get back here.

This was the perfect place to drop in for respite from the Sedona strip. The alluring scent of freshly baking pies and hot espresso drew us in. I had a slice of apple crumble pie and my wife had her first strawberry rhubarb in a year! Paired with a steaming latte and served with a smile! Prices are great, lower than what I would expect from a handmade bakery! They also make their own ice cream with traditional and some excellent flavors I've never seen (vanilla malt) Yum!

I had two scoops of their house made French vanilla and it did not disappoint. Another person in my party had the Belgian Chocolate ice cream and it had a nice deep dark chocolate flavor that’s very smooth. This place is also known for their pies and we took two slices of apple crumb back to our hotel and once warmed up this was such an amazing after dinner/day after treat. The crumb topping was crunchy and full of flavor that paired well with the cinnamon and apples. Their pie crust is delicious. Although it’s located in a sort of touristy area of Sedona this place is worth the venture into town in an of itself!

Caution when eating those hotdogs! They’re unique being in a baguette and delicious but when you get to the bottom be prepared for condiments to explode all over your sweater. I’ve got a nice mustard stain souvenir.
Had I been prepared I could have avoided the mustard mishap, but the hot dog was delicious and I got some great coffee.

Updated Review - 5/27/23: We went to the Black Cow Cafe a couple of days ago. It was so amazing, we had to go back again before we left Sedona. We are glad we did!!! It was even better the second time. The line was a little longer because it was Saturday night…. But the wait was with it! I had the Black Cow and my wife got the Calfagato again. They were both delicious!!! We completely and totally recommend the Black Cow Cafe! Check it out!

Original Review - This place should be called “Heaven”. Because when we finished with what we got, it felt like we died and gone to heaven. Mmmm!!! DELICIOUS! The service was FAST and friendly! I got the Mocha Freeze…. And my wife got the Calfagato. WOW… they were both incredible! We are in Sedona all week and we will definitely be going back to the Black Cow Cafe! Highly recommended!!!

Cute little ice cream cafe Zimbabwe style. They gave homemade ice creams. We had butter pecan and cookies and cream along with hot chocolate. The plaza in which it is located is also worth taking a stroll in. Must visit when in Sedona or passing by. Fir us it was a quick 15 min stop on our way to Grand Canyon from Phoenix

The best home made ice cream in Sedona by far! The owners and staff are wonderful, the flavors creamy and delicious and the price is super reasonable. I love the turtle Sunday! Who needs gelato when you can have the real thing! They also have amazing baked goods, yum!

Well at first we were a little hesitant to try this place, because of some of the reviews on the customer service. The staff was courteous and helpful toward us. We ordered the ice cream and it is creamy and does taste homemade. We also ordered an oreo milkshake and my son love it. The trashcan and tables could use a good wipe down, as they were sticky.

Very yummy pies! I absolutely loved the buttery flaky crust! You can taste the homemade love! Definitely give them a try!

The sign saying hand-made pies caught my attention and it's TRUE. They are literally making the pies right in the back and you can watch. The bourbon chocolate chip pecan was so good and you can get a whole pie, a slice, or al a made. The icecream was amazing. The scones were so fresh and the coffee was delicious. The staff was nice and patient. There is not much seating so you might have to eat outside but I definitely recommend stopping by and getting a slice of pie with icecream!

Fantastic homemade ice cream. The Belgian chocolate was spot on. The Oreo and espresso were wonderful and the vanilla was also quite good. The waffle cones are the only cone option and made in house ($1). They also have chocolate waffle cones which looked good. The picture is 1 scoop with 2 flavors. The other desserts and pies also looked very good. Best ice cream we’ve had along that strip.

I’m not kidding if I say that this place has the best sundae. I ordered the mocha latte sundae! Oh boy! It was mouthwatering. Don’t mind the line because it will be worth it.

Try the prickly pear sundae for something unusual! Pink prickly pear ice cream, toasted coconut, topped with whipping cream, and drizzled with white chocolate prickly pear sauce. Only thing better than this is a prickly pear margarita, which they do not serve.

Home made pies called me to pull over- fresh peach slice o heaven! Didn’t try their ice cream- but the staff was super friendly! Try the Cafolacream!! Delish!

This is honestly one of my favorite places to visit in the state.. The atmosphere is fantastic as it has that old creamery feel. Many times have I drove up from Phoenix just to enjoy a little get away with a little bit of ice cream. Im a big fan of the cherry pie. Depending on what time of the season parking can be a little scarce getting close to the shop so you may have to walk a little ways to get their
