Muddy Buck Coffee House

Absolutely one of my favorite breakfasts in town. Pictured is a copious serving of avocado toast with zucchini, havarti, bacon and a sunny side egg, which was cooked to perfection. A pure culinary delight accompanied by a serious dose of espresso to help make my office work more tolerable.

This picturesque coffee house is one of my ABSOLUTE favorites! Between the friendly staff and the atmosphere, it is unbeatable. The only reason I put 4 stars on service was because they gave out my niece's food to another person, but after about 10 minutes from when I got my food he realized it and remade it for us(the only reason we didnt ask quite yet was because they were busy and we thought maybe my niece had something on her Avocado toast that they needed to grab more of from the back or something else). Finding seating is kinda difficult at times, but sooooo worth it when you find it. It fits how I would picture a quaint coffee house in the mountains and the coffee is delicious! So if you are ever in town, I HIGHLY recommend Muddy Buck Coffee House!

Evergreen is a haven for hikers and mountain folk - a lovely and ethereal place situated not so far from Denver, a lovely little day trip for folks in the city looking to cool down with some alpine air. Muddy Buck - a rustic and historic coffee mountain joint - is a key part of the experience.

What once was the Evergreen Hotel, has now, for quite a while, been a lovely coffee shop serving up creamy lattes, tasty pastries, and sandwiches. ☕🥐

Plenty of cozy and hygge seating indoors and outdoors with warm ambient lighting which convinces one to curl up with a good book and stay in the shop for a while.

Fantastic coffee and breakfast place in Evergreen, Colorado. Five stars only because I can't give it six!! Breakfast croissant with egg, bacon, havarti cheese and avocado was great. Cinnamon roll was one of the best I had. Bought one of each, wife and I shared and it was plenty. Coffee is outstanding. Waitstaff is super friendly. Highly recommended!!

Such an interesting restaurant! It's modern food in a historical-feeling building. The cave seating area in the back is my favorite. The avocado toast was as yummy as the hipsters claim and it went perfectly with my apple juice mimosa. I look forward to drinking hot chocolate here in the winter after snow tubing.

Excellent decor with the old coffee mill and saloon vibe. Besides the cool detail of having Rocky Mountains inside the Saloon/Cafe. How awesome is that!? 🤩

Amazing cafe! Great vibe, friendly staff, and everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. The breakfast burrito is my favorite, iced tea is divine and the pastries are fresh! Definitely recommend! Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Wonderful place to hang out.🌻

Fantastic coffee shop. Fresh grinds, super fresh cooked in front of you good. And wonderful soul music in a chill setting.
Plenty of space, very relaxed and great decor. Smell of coffee and food was just sublime. 10/10 must go if visiting as we were.

Very cool quaint place. Feels like you're walking into good old times. Warm place just like Grandma's. Service and food are excellent. The place I wouldn't wanna miss. If I was in town. Must go to and experience this warm atmosphere.

I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich. It was amazing. This is without a doubt the largest breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. It was very delicious. Thank you!

My favorite coffee spot in Evergreen! So cozy and cool, amazing coffee, and even better avocado toast!! It is my absolute favorite place to come and work or meet for coffee with friends. In the heart of Evergreen, and feels like the heart of Evergreen!

Great place. I stopped in at 4pm for an iced coffee. Got the iced Honey Bee Latte, I enjoyed it and place has a Nice vibe. 👍🏻

Seriously the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. The tomato relish was perfect, I would totally buy a jar of this just to take home and keep in my fridge.

Outstanding in all aspects. Even when the workers are swamped with customers, the blonde-haired cashier still saw people, showing kindness in complimenting my wife’s hair and being a cheerful face to brighten her customers’ days.

I’m a home barista, and can 100% say you will be blown away by the coffee, chai and food here. It’s amazing.

My one recommendation would be adding a roasted date on the coffee bags they sell. I’d love to add some new beans to my rotation 🙂.
