Blackbird Cafe - Mountain Brunch & Lunch

Cute brunch spot with beautiful view. Foods and services were excellent. I got Kittredge Florentine. The eggs was runny with some part gooey. The hollandaise sauce was buttery and creamy. It was delicious.

Tammy was taking care of us. She was wonderful and super friendly.

We will definitely come back!

Truly wonderful and authentic mountain town diner. The chorizo Benedict blew me away in both portion and quality. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The staff was pleasant and the view is unbeatable. We will be back!

The servers are really friendly. The pancakes are so delicious, flavorful, and not dry. The sweet potatoes and green chili are very good! Avocado salmon toast 👌 their benedicts are super good as well.

Such a great little spot! I drove out from Denver and had brunch here on a Sunday and really enjoyed the views on the water- even got to see a beautiful deer! The food was amazing and I was thrilled to see so many vegan options on the menu. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the typical Sunday brunch wait times minimal and bearable. I will definitely be returning!

Cute place on the river in the middle of the mountains. The food was so delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Bit slow to get food but it was busy that morning we went. Parking is along the road so just drive slow to find a spot.*

Staff seemed less than enthusiastic working nobody was happy. Not a vibe but the food made up for it and so did the views. Good prices and a military discount. Would come back for the food next time we are in town.

Such an excellent hidden gem in Kittredge, we always manage to get a great seat over the little running stream and so accessible from west Denver!
Highly recommend the coconut curry, veggie burger with waffle fries, and the whiskey sour. Really great draft beer selection from all over the US!

We've got some tricky needs as a big family... Vegan, gluten free and kids with diverse tastes. Stayed in town with family who aren't those things and this spot has something for everyone. Tasty, quick service and nice staff. Great little spot for any meal.

One of my new favorite restaurants! So picturesque and peaceful. No frills, amazing views, & brunch was fantastic. Loved the patio seating, but you also have a great view of the creek from inside as well. + Dogs are welcome on the patio! My veggie omelet was LOADED & the potato cakes were so good!! Amazing service. AND you can drink your coffee or mimosas and sit by the creek (benches by patio) while you wait! Will DEF be back! :)

Attentive, welcoming, and helpful staff, even when the Café is incredibly busy. 25 minute wait on a Saturday morning, but a cozy tent waiting area made it work.

Food was excellent. Undeniably tasty. Lots to eat, too. Loved the vegan and sweet breakfast options. Pancakes had a 20 minute wait, but was worth it for my buddy. I had the french toast and loved it.

Sound is a bit chaotic in the bar & dining area when it's loud and packed, but beautiful river views by the windowed seating help calm things down.

Very pleased with my time here.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They were short a hostess but the place ran like a finely oiled machine. We ate brunch with elk playing in the creek. The food was amazing (avocado toast with smoked salmon). The service was top notch and I appreciate their kindness. If you go there sit back enjoy the scenery and live in the moment. Try to get patio seating.

Had a really nice huevos rancheros breakfast at the Blackbird Cafe. The owner stop by our table to check in on us and it was a pleasure to meet her. Services terrific! Staff polite and kind.

20 minute wait for a table at 9am on a Sunday but you can buy coffee or drinks and sit by the creek whilst you wait.
Lovely setting on the patio with water running by and little kids playing by the creek. All the staff were absolutely lovely and the food was excellent. Kids had pancakes and my husband and I had variations of the eggs Benedict. Fantastic local restaurant!

This cafe has quickly become my favorite spot in Colorado. They have everything you could ever want in a mountain cafe and more: plenty of GF and vegan options, affordable drinks, super friendly service, a view of the creek, a dog friendly patio, just a little grit, and a lot of charm. The huevos rancheros (along with everything else I've tried here) don't disappoint!! Well worth the stop!

We had brunch in here to meet a relative from Evergreen. They are dog friendly as I have my esa dog. Food is great! Ambiance is nice. Service was fast!

Wow! This place was delicious and one of the best brunch spots I’ve been. Even days later I’m craving it. We ordered fried pickles and pancakes to start - the pancakes were so fluffy and tasty. I had the corn beef eggs Benedict and met every expectation! Eggs were perfectly runny, hollandaise was top notch. The rest of our party enjoyed their meals so much too. Kevin our Server was very friendly, attentive and a pleasure. We sat outside on their patio which was very cute and nice to enjoy the views and river. Definitely recommend and a go to spot when going to Colorado!

I have eaten a lot of pancakes in my day, but these blueberry pancakes were the best I’ve ever eaten, no pictures of the food because it was all gobbled up so quickly but the pancakes and French toast were both world class and the lil hash brown dunkers were delicious in the syrup- saving this spot for every trip

To date, this is our favorite breakfast and brunch spot! The staff is as friendly as can be, the food is great and you can't beat the mountain river view! They even have an entire Vegan menu, just ask for one next time you visit!
