out of all of the jobs I have had in my life, this is more like a family of supporters that are helping to create a positive impact and future for our clients, these teenage girls that just need support and love and care, and that’s what we as staff do all day long and all night long. I am truly grateful for the staff support here because that has been a rock. All of the staff are constantly checking on each other, and therefore it helps us to better help our clients. and financially they treat all of their staff very well. I am beyond grateful for being a part of this incredible team. 🌻

I am very thankful for all the staff. I learned so much. I am very successful in life, and all I can say is this opportunity made a huge difference. I see a lot of negative comments, but at the end if you are not really to better self. No matter where you go or do nothing will help you.

My daughter has been attending and has made great strides.Love the staff. But as always its up to the child if they are ready to change ...but this place is amazing what and how the staff react and respond to the girls is wonderful cant say enough

This place saved my life and helped me grow in the real world. They provide great life skills.

I was there as a peer and I stayed for a year and it did wonders it's an amazing place

I was the last original of 2017 to 2019 and tbh I kinda miss this place but, the staff mainly hehe

Honestly, I hated it there. It was a horrible experience and I would not wish it on anyone. The staff could be rude and sometimes just mean.
But at the same time this place did help me understand that I could not continue doing the things I did.
Mingus is a place to go and get a hard reality check, it's not for girls that can't handle others telling them the truth.
I had to give my staff something of sentimental value in order to go on a home pass, in my case it was a pair of gold earrings that I have had since I was 5. I still need to get them back from North founders dorm.

I went here back in 2016 . It was horrible if you made it horrible. there are staff and student relationships , but im sure that happens behind the scenes at any rehab center. I would say that i took me a while after i left mingus to get better . Their motto is " fake it to make it". anyway , if you do your program then you'll get out.

I just started working here 4 day's ago. It is a All inclusive Facility for at high risk teenage girl's for mental health and behavioral health issues. They live there, they eat there, they go to school there etc...

It changed my life and made me the strongest women i could for a better life...

Life tuff. Gets better

I was at ine of the Mingus houses in Phoenix Arizona, and even though most of the girls had their own issues, the staff handled it miraculously. AThe staff were caring but strict. Some girls who didn't know structure or security took that as a bad thing. I did too, but after being there for a while I started to be appreciative for my staff. I do not speak for the actual campus in Prescott Valley, but the Amber Hills house was a great help for me

Honestly, staff are very abusive here. I was here for a year and a half a couple years ago. Staff were having sexual relationship's with girls, Mr.Vince is a very evil man, he abuses his authority. The food here is amazing and a select few staff are there to really help. Don't send your kids here it will only damage your daughters more. Also the staff lie to parents and social workers and probation officers. If you're a social worker and you want to make or need to make a welfare visit my advice do not let any staff know or they'll make everyone be on there best behavior.
The State Of California made all the youth from California that were placed there come home because of the condition Mingus is. They are abusive and the education is terrible. There are restraints constantly so we cannot talk during an issue meaning we cannot be taught in school. We watched movies 24/7 in class.
The therapist some of them are amazing and the therapy groups helped me so much.
