One of our “usual” spots. Everything is fantastic, from the sushi to the hibachi, drinks and apps. Sandy and Cassidy are fantastic. You can’t find two bartenders who are more hard-working, attentive and friendly. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Keep up the good work and ignore the negative comments!

Sushi was absolutely delicious, well flavored and fresh. They took the time to craft this and I’m very impressed. It took me by surprise seeing how empty it was. I only wish they could add a bit more to the calamari, it seem to lack in amount.

Honestly didn’t expect this but we really enjoyed Sushi here and highly recommended.

My brother had the black and red dragon sushi, and I had the teriyaki chicken on a bed of fried rice.
My meal started off with a salad that was really very good. The teriyaki chicken that I ordered was perfectly cooked and laid on a bed of fried rice with stir-fried vegetables on the side. I also had a non-alcoholic pina colada that was very tasty. My brother also said that his food was excellent. However, I can not attest to this since I did not try his food.
The atmosphere was very nice with some background music. Prices are very reasonable considering how good the food was. I will definitely be returning for a meal to this restaurant soon.

Definitely the best sushi in the area. The options are fantastic especially combo choices. Also provides a wonderful value for the portions. I enjoy all my trips here and plan on having plenty more.

Delicious food, strong drinks. Spicy scallop roll was a sleeper, but everything was great.

This is the best Japanese restaurant around despite being located in the little village of Whitinsville. It's not a very big or fancy place, but the sushi is the highest quality, and the cooked dinners are made to perfection. Although I don't personally drink, I've heard others say the drinks are outstanding.

And the cherry on top? Their prices are WAY better than most other places- especially lunch specials!

The food is terrific and the service is very good. My wife and I enjoyed stopping in for a late lunch and it was well worth it. The food is fresh and made to order. Lots of great options! Stop in. You’ll like it.

In regards to the negative comment, I would like to say that’s the farthest from the truth. Everyone at Kyoto is always friendly, and happy. As far as Sandy goes she is always smiling and one of the sweetest people out there! She is amazing!! Customer service there is superb!

I’m writing this in regards to the most recent 1 star review under “G R”. These claims are extremely false. Sandy is an amazing bartender as are the rest of the staff that works here. They all work incredibly hard and the customer service is superb - so my guess is maybe G R was unfair to this bartender. Never ever had an issue with any of the staff here!

Not only is the food always perfect, but the service is something you won’t/ don’t see anymore! Eating dinner with my husband and our toddler 15m and our waitress Ashley played with our son and kept him happy until his food was ready to eat so we could enjoy our food! I was literally in tears from happiness and gratitude ! Such an amazing experience!

Been a few times now and it's a really great place to go. The staff is amazing and the food is absolutely delicious. It has a good variety of sushi options including vegetarian ones so no one is left out.

Always delicious! I was first introduced to this restaurant thru my coworkers back in 2021. My 9 year old also loves it. The food is always fresh and so flavorful. We have yet to be disappointed.

Love the food. Spicy calamari is my favorite appetizer. Always have great service at the bar. Can get crowded on the weekends though, there may be a wait. Takeout has been great too!

They have the best sushi and maki in the area. Very reasonably priced. It's hibachi style food in an intimate setting with a bar. So it's a local feel. Good little spot/find. They offer take out as well. 🤤

Kyoto is fantastic. I'd eat there three times a week if I could. It's a small place but well laid out and has a pleasant atmosphere. The food is as good as it gets. I love the gyoza and anything hibachi. They have great drinks. The sushi is very good as well as the soups. We've never had a meal there that wasn't perfect!
